We went for a birthday celebration and the menu wasn't too big, they had a decent amount of appetizers , salads, entrees including pasta, and plenty of burgers and chicken sandwiches. I generally visit this place once every couple of months. We always sit at the bar for lunch usually to watch a football or a basketball game. the service is not good at all. It's tough to get anyone's attention. I don't know where everybody disappears to but they really need to improve their greet time, menu drop, order time, quality check, and check drop time. There's one girl in particular who has long, dark hair she's a mom and she's the best that this place has in terms of bartenders. However, I would still go because it's a great location it's clean. An intriguing 2nd visit to a local hot spot. The burgers here are great. Flavkrs are top notch. And the previous time the food was excellent. We went on off hours because thats when we're hungry, and we find we usually get immaculate service. This is wrong. While the place was mostly clean, and the atmosphere very fun, the wait staff is borderline rude and never want to help. We were one of two couples in the place and in an hour we got one refill and were unable to get dessert because we were too irritated to wait even longer. Two times the service has been awful. We had been given a gift card to The Rail, as there was a location near us in Akron. We decided to finally get around to use the gift card, because you know they just sit in those drawers forever, and discovered that the Akron location had closed. We didn't want to lose our money, so we made the trip to Strongsville so that we could use up our card. This location is in a strip mall near a large shopping mall. We were seated super quick, make sure you call ahead and just add your name to the list, not a reservation, but you'll get seated before those who don't call in! What's great about the Rail is that the food is always constantly delicious. Great appetizers, great flat bread pizzas, great burgers. Onion rings are amazing here. My wife always gets the Blue Bessie burger, she loves it, on a side note, if you're looking to save calories, ask them to make it protein style, they will bring it lettuce wrapped instead of a bun. Im a little disappointed that they took away my favorite burger, crouching tiger hidden bacon. Other burgers don't hit the spot like this one did. Our service has always been great. Bar: (seriously, skip spending your money on a cocktail) We each ordered a Tanqueray martini. Welp, they were out of Tanqueray. The other options were kinda gross. The annoying thing was that we weren't offered a discount or anything on the gin we had to choose. MOST annoying was thaT the glasses were really chintzy amounts. They barely reached half of the glass. Food: really delish! They have *good* gluten free buns which was a huge plus for me. We've been going to the rail for years now, like when there was one in great northern. Once this one opened up closer to us we were regulars. They used to have Long Island iced teas for $3! But fast forward to 2022 things change. But The burgers always have been and always will be good with their all Ohio beef recipe. They also have awesome sides! I love their sweet potato fries with the chipotle Mayo and their tater tots. We've tried almost all their apps and they are good!! Last time we went the service wasn't great, our server was very apologetic, but it took a long time to get a Diet Coke. Regardless the food was good! This review is for the Dublin Location The husband and I decided to give this place a try, from the outside it looked pretty swanky and fun. When we walked through the doors the décor suggested I was correct. Nothing kills a vibe faster that an unwarranted grumpy host. The young man who walked to the host stand waited for me to say hello to him then when I asked him how he was doing he replied with "I'm really tired, I've been her since 10:30am"...... it was 1pm. It was such an awkward exchange. He sat us in a booth, I shook it off and was getting excited again to try this place. The decor was so cool and the concept of locally sourced was very inviting. I have to say, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, I was very disappointed. The Bloody Mary was average. The fried pickles were pretty good, I did like the jalapeño ranch. But the protein bowl left something to be desired. The chicken was dry and over cooked, the marinated tomatoes and onions had a weird aftertaste and the corn and black bean salsa was pretty bland. The Brussel sprouts were pretty good and i enjoyed the balsamic vinaigrette it came with. The husband got the 7th heaven burger, I can not review the taste since I didn't try it. However I did see it and it just looked sad. A sad piece of bacon placed on a hamburger patty that was absolutely drenched in truffle butter. I could see from across the table the absurd amount of butter it was sitting in. It did not look appetizing in the least. For the price I would have expected much more from a place like this. We went to The Rail this week with 7 in our party; they were able to seat us immediately. It was a Monday night around dinner time. The Rail is a very clean, inviting establishment. They have a large bar area, but it is more of a "restaurant" feel, which was good. The server was very attentive and very nice. We started with appetizers: the buffalo chicken dip, which was good, but not completely hot, and the pretzel bites, which were awesome - we actually ordered a second helping. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich that was excellent. If you order fries, you get a choice of style. The skinny fries are the way to go. Other people in our party had burgers and everyone was satisfied. The kids had mini corn dogs and enjoyed them. At the end of the meal, three of us ordered Nutella shakes - these are a must if you are a Nutella fan. Overall, I'd give this visit not quite a 5, but probably a 4 1/2. I ordered a salad ( that I sadly forgot to get a picture of) and an apprised of Mac n cheese bites and both were great and fairly priced in my opinion . The waiters were quick with getting our orders and refills for drinks. The location is good and close to a lot of stores and entertainment in strongsville. We come to Strongsville often to get out of the downtown area and go to the mall for a movie and shopping. It was 11am and some of us wanted breakfast and others wanted a burger so we decided to try this place near the mall. We are VERY GLAD we did! We decided to go to The Rail for dinner. My husband had the Naked Burger, they give you two embellishments. He ordered pull pork and bacon. The burger and the fries were too salty. I ordered the Chicken sandwich. We wanted to sub the fries for veggies and we would have paid a little bit more, but the waitress said that we would need to purchase sides at the regular price. The prices were average, we paid $23.76 for both, no drinks. In the past husband has had their Reuben Sandwich and it was pretty good. I do see families with children. The Rail is right in between The Vitamin Shop and Core Life. The atmosphere is ok, I enjoyed the music. It's a nice place and service was ok, but I would like if they offered healthy substitutions for the fries (ex. Cup of fruit, vegetables or small side salad). I completely understand adding a little more for the substitution, not the entire cost of the side. Glad that they used local beef. read more

I was alone, but I also came during Happy Hour so I ordered an appetizer and an ice tea! The tea was delicious, fresh brewed ice tea. My pickle chips were yummy - they weren't breaded, or if they were, very very lightly. Seasoned and fried and oh so good. I ordered the BeefClaw Burger - it has lump crab meat on it and a house made crab spread. I usually go for a plain type burger, but was feeling adventurous!! We ordered Diet Coke and water to start we had the chicken/bacon nachos. 10/10 they are probably one of the best we've ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The cheese a perfect amount with exceptional flavor. We got the sour cream tomatoes and jalapeños on the side since my hubby isn't a fan. I added them on mine only. The heat was perfect.
