    Chicken Lickin Sandwich in Dutch
    Kevin C.

Craving a sandwich while in Burlingame and this hit the spot! Ordered 2 sandwiches and were ready in about 10 minutes. Small "to-go" shop feel with just one table inside and a couple outside. Friendly service. Sandwiches are a on the smaller end but still filled me up after eating 3/4's. Chicken Lickin - 5/5 - Savory, warm sandwich with juicy chicken pieces and fresh ingredients. The sun-dried tomato added a little bit of sweetness. Love how avocado and bacon are included in this one. Turkey Melt - 4/5 - Classic combo but was more bland than the previous sandwich. Felt like it needed more turkey and melted cheese, as there was no cheese pull for a sandwich called a melt. Still a safe choice as the ingredients tasted high quality. Will come again to try the other sandwiches!

If you're looking for a quick bite or a good sando then try CJ's Gourmet Deli. Large selection of sandwhiches to choose from or create your own. Opted for creating own tuna sandwhich on Dutch Crunch for $8.99. The sandwhich isn't huge but good ingredients used. Order at the counter and wait for your order. 2 tables outside and one table by window inside. Parking lot and street parking.

Great place for a grab and go or quick sandwich. I really liked the chicken licken sandwich. Friendly staff and they made the order pretty fast, unlike some other nearby sandwich shops. The online menu is not up to date on prices.

Very nice staff that helps you! Service Grade: A+ They had a nice selection of breads and options for your sandwich. I opted to create my own that starts at $8.99! I gave this place a 4 because the flavor was there and a good portion of meat. A tasty sandwich for $12 after tax is pretty darn good! I would give it a 4.4 if I could. I was hoping for a cole slaw or something to add to my sandwich, but im shooting for the stars. Sandwich options Grade: A- I ordered a hot pastrami with all the basics and added bacon, pesto and pepperoncini to it. The sourdough roll was a good size and the chew to it did not disappoint. Grade: A- They had many chip options and a handful of drinks. (I did come on a busy Saturday) One gentleman who worked there was restocking everything which I appreciated. Other Options Grade: A-/B+ My experience overall was great. The timeliness of my order was decent as they were pretty busy. I would come here again if I wanted a sandwich near "The Ave"

I'm always looking for a thanksgiving sandwich with all the fixings (like stuffing) instead of just a turkey cranberry sandwich so CJ's caught my attention. And indeed, it didn't disappoint! I got it on Dutch crunch and the sandwich came out slightly warm and toasted. The stuffing had great flavor that came through despite being covered by a ton of other toppings. I could've used more cranberry sauce to give it that sweet component but overall 4/5 for a solid thanksgiving sandwich. My friend also got the chicken lickin sandwich and that was just ok. We both preferred the thanksgiving. We arrived around 12:30 and there were plenty of people waiting for the orders but everything came out quick. I'd come back to try some other sandwiches.

I used to work on the ave, and after hearing the hype all my coworkers said about this place I had to try it out. Man it did not dissolve one bit!! They are super sweet and super fast with their orders. You can wait inside and or eat at the tables they have outside. I've never had a perfect toasted sandwich outside of this place. It's pretty affordable and really good quality, I love coming here to get my fix! My order: Meatball Express on Dutch Crunch -- This was recommended by my coworker at the time, and she changed my mind about a meatball sub. They toast the sandwich to the point that it is perfectly crispy on the outside. Their meatballs are so perfect with a hint of spice.

This place was awful . Will attach pics . We walked in and ordered . They helped 6 other people before they got to our order even though they walked in after us . Food was not edible . Bread stale. My kids were disgusted and threw their sandwich and started crying . I hold not recommend ever

cute shop in Burlingame! Small with a few seatings but the prices are amazing! While little luccas is still a go to place - i was looking for something less gigantic and it would also be nice to try something new. Found this place but there werent updated menu prices, i even checked out their website and im like...oh man...its going to be like hiked up Got here and to my surprise, the prices were the same as their website, you really cant get anything less than 15$ these days so this was a joy. I really wanted a nice toasted sandwich, so i opted for a pressed sandwich and got myself a safe choice of the BR Chicken - which is chicken, racon, ranch with pepperoncini and swiss on dutch crunch. I added red onions at no extra cost! Was the sandwich the size of a firstborn - no but it was a good size for lunch without food coma (the size of my forearm) And the bread....PERFECTLY crunched, you can definitely do the ASMR with it. It was hot, it was melty, it was pressed! The portion of the ingredients were balanced, not really too much of one or the other and the chicken was sliced pieces so its not one whole breast. The ranch was not super creamy thick so it didnt overpower the cheese. I enjoyed it very much. I do wish they gave me a bit more pepperoncini and onions but thats a preference. 2 sandwiches - less than 30$ will definitely come back!

Tucked away off Burlingame ave, this is a great affordable and filling meal. The sandwich can surely be split between two people and is the perfect amount of full to still get a boba or drink afterwards. Prices are reasonable and nothing outrageous. They offer create your own or set menu offerings. I opted for create your own because I was so indecisive, and its only $7.99, a real deal. They have limited seating inside and outside but there's plenty of public benches you can eat your sandwich in. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Would recommend for lunch or a quick bite.

#1/Chicken Lickin' (Roasted Chicken, Sun-Dried Tomato, Avocado, Bacon, Monterey Jack, $10.99)- 3.5/5 stars

3.5 stars but rounding up for a great sandwich spot with giant sandwiches. I've had CJ's on my list for a while, and luckily, my friend picked up sandwiches recently. It was busy during the lunch rush on a Saturday, and it took a while to order since the cashier was taking in person orders as well as phone orders. I ended up trying: -#1/Chicken Lickin' (Roasted Chicken, Sun-Dried Tomato, Avocado, Bacon, Monterey Jack, $10.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=BzQeeTdp672Wku_D4w5Ikg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Really good sandwich, and you really can't go wrong with Dutch Crunch. I couldn't taste much of the sun-dried tomato, but the other ingredients worked well together. -#9/French Revolution (Smoked Turkey, Dijon Mustard, Green Apple, Brie, $9.99): I had some of my friend's sandwich, and the green apple really threw me off. I'm not a big fruit eater in general, and this definitely wasn't the sandwich for me. However, the ingredients all seemed really fresh. I would come back to try their other sandwiches (The Rich Boy and So Cal) on Dutch Crunch!

I was honestly shocked walking into the restaurant and seeing that they expanded into the neighboring brick and mortar space. The ambiance was absolutely divine and felt like dining in a beautiful Italian courtyard. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The staff was incredibly genuine and attentive. Huge credit to the sweet mother to be working the cashier register. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was so kind and caring toward my fiancé and I while we dined there, especially since I'm expecting as well. The runners and hosts were also wonderful. You can truly tell they have a great team dynamic. Now for the food... one Bay Area term: SCHMACK. Man, did I miss having such a variety of food items made to absolute deliciousness. I ordered the Palermo, hot chocolate, orange juice, and the Siena sweet crepe with no strawberries. My fiancé had the omelette and the French toast order. Everything was perfect for our cravings and tasted so fresh and comforting. We will definitely be returning with our families to celebrate our little blessing to come. Highly recommend Crepevine if you want food with a fresh taste that truly feels like home.

Buttermilk pancake and Milano crepe were fine - both were relatively sizable and tasty. New Orleans benedict was a huge miss. I'm not sure how long my plate was sitting out before it was served, but the English muffin was soggy, the egg was very overcooked/not runny at all, and the hollandaise sauce had developed a noticeable skin. The entire dish was lukewarm at best. Our food came out quickly, so it's obvious Crepevine pre-makes everything and nothing is fresh. As we were leaving, we saw a plate in the kitchen with a giant stack of pre-made crepes on it. Lastly, service was a HUGE disappointment. When we were at the cash register placing our order, the employee NEVER looked at us. Instead, she kept looking around and was very distracted, which is probably why she asked us to repeat ourselves 3 times. Then, in the MIDDLE of our ordering, she turned and started talking to a woman behind us in line. They literally proceeded to have an entire conversation while we were standing there, holding menus in our hand, waiting to finish placing our order. We should have walked out right there. After we sat down, no one ever brought us water. Our food arrived and we still didn't have water, so we had to flag someone down. That person didn't bring anything, so we had to ask another person. Everything - from water to napkins to boxes - needed to be requested multiple times. Not gonna come back again.

There seemed to be quite a few parties indoors, which feels more like a club. Service was more leisurely than on previous visits due to the heavy amount of guests dining on a weeknight. Started off with the zucchini cakes and they were quite tasty. They were super flavorful and had a tasty dipping sauce that complemented this dish. The grilled octopus was gigantic and cooked to perfection, while not being rubbery. The lamb riblets were tasty as they were tender and served over a bed of arugula. The brussel sprouts were tasty, albeit a touch on the smaller side. Opted to share the chilean sea bass as the main course and it was gigantic. The sea bass was very fatty and buttery. I loved how this dish was served with some super soft potatoes and creamy spinach. The skin on the sea bass was also quite satisfying. The Galaktoboureko recommended by our waitress was merely so so. I find the version at Evvia much better. There is a 4% hospitality support charge added to the bill.
