Hand quilting stand ant a great price. Behind that is many cross-stitch kits.

Wonderful store. Lots of quality yarn and many other craft items (quilting, buttons, books for many crafts and of course yarn) for sale at great prices. It is a consignment store so you can bring in items but get beautiful quality items for sale such a great prices. The owner of the shop is so friendly and really knows her stuff. So many new items each time it is fun to revisit as well.

    Amazing selection!

Such a great experience! The owner was so helpful. I always spent $35 and got everything I need to make my little holiday gifts! Lots of personal attention. Highly recommend!

    Yarn

Such a great concept for a craft store. I went for yarn and was pleasantly surprised. Prices are great for yarn. There's a lovely selection of fabric as well. There are things for scrapbooking, books, knitting needles, thread for sewing. I had a great time shopping. The owner was very friendly.

    Yarn and other crafting items!

I love recycling and reusing materials so I love that this place exists. I found some really pretty beads and even wool roving!

I just want to write this review to counter-act against "Scott S" one-star review because his…read morereview is so ridiculous. I should mention, I am in no way affiliated with this shop whatsoever in any way, shape, or form. However I do live in the neighborhood and when I was searching for paper stores, this shop came up in the search. It took me literally 2 seconds to see that it's not the type of store I'm looking for (I'm looking for more of a stationary/paper store as opposed to art supply anyways, but alas this shop came up.) I personally think it's really cool to have a shop specifically for materials more geared toward graffiti/spray paint art...because graffiti IS ART. Therefore this shop IS an art supply store! That guys review would be almost like if I went to Whole Foods and got mad because they don't sell Hot Cheetos and Swishers. That would be ridiculous, right? Of course it would be! People should do their own due diligence! I'm sure Scott S. refuses to take such responsibility though, for he mustn't have the basic sense to make such high agency decisions in his day-to-day life. But that's okay. Because I'm here. To suggest to anyone that comes across this shop, to simply look at the images. Look for yourself. Is this the type of store you're looking for? If you are unsure, the store owner's phone number is right here on this very listing. I'm sure you can call and ask. Don't be like Scott. Not now. Not ever.

They only have supplies like spray paint for graffiti. They don't have drawing paper or paints or canvases or anything you need to make art. Unless you're doing graffiti don't bother with this place.

They have a beautiful small selection of fabrics, notions, and patterns but they really excel in classes. I decided to take a garment class (the lined jacket), not for help, but for community, and I'm so happy that I did! Christine was a great teacher and I do pick up some tricks! My goal this year was to grow my skills, so I decided to enroll in the Sketch to Garment class. It has been so fun working with Julie Ann and my fellow students. I was worried I'd struggle because I don't have sketching or design experience, but I love how easy and creative they made it! I'm looking forward to more. Come to The Sewing Room for community, creativity, and knowledge!
