What a perfect little place!! I came here on a Saturday night with a friend to check it out. It happened to be the night of the Mayweather-McGregor fight. Lo and behold they have PayPer View at no extra charge! So that was a cool bonus to the night. The regular hookah was $17. They have an extensive menu with different brands of hookah including Starbuzz! Lots of flavors to choose from too which is awesome. I believe head changes were either $5 or $7 as well. They also have a cafe food and drink menu! A selection of cafe dishes and crepes, coffee, tea, soft drinks, etc... You can straight up eat dinner, smoke hookah, and have some crepes for dessert. It's an all in one! And I can't forget to mention the awesome decor. The whole lounge has a very relaxed vibe. Curtains are hung by the couches and little nooks to give privacy. They also have a beautiful patio. There are tables on the patio for eating. A large table for parties, and multiple little bistro tables along a comfortable bench wall. All with a perfect view of the TV. The patio is private as well with a beautiful wall of stained glass and greenery to separate it from the street. The owner is superb and she hand makes all of the food she serves and you can really feel the love she puts in making everything. We came for lunch and ordered 2 crepes. The lady that took our order turned out to be the only person working here. She had to do the crepes, take care of the orders, check other people in... Since i moved to southern california, i have been wanting to run into a place that will serve decent hookah with known brands of flavoris e.g: Al Fakhr, Starbuzz. What an amazing experience Red delivers. My best and I walked in to be promptly greated by Lina, she welcomed us warmly and let us know we can sit any where we pleased. We choose outside and again with the over the top customer service, we were handed menus and didn't have to endure a missing staff member like other hookah bars, we were able to order as soon as we were ready. we choose melon, peach and mint by Starbuzz. They offer other tobaccos as well; tangiers, fumari and al fakkar. Our hookah order came our within minutes, in a beautiful pipe that matched the decor perfectly. We wanted something to snack on so we asked if we could order some fries, unfortunately they didn't have fries on their menu yet but that didn't stop us. We continued to smoke our hookah with the perfect amount of flavors and the constant check of hot coals at hand. But then, Lina gave us a plate of fries that she so nicely ordered from the restaurant down the block! She was over the top amazing!!! I walked into the lounge finding it very welcoming, I received an immediate greet, a comforting seat and was helped in a timely manner. I ordered hookah and lounged for a few hours, this place has the best hookahs in town. I would highly recommend "The heavy hitter" hookah, it comes with a extra head which is great for a long time seating. This is a WIFI equipped business with a tri-lounge area; a small comfortable room, main lounge area or the patio to choose from. The food was great! I I tried a cheese cake strawberry banana chocolate crepe and also had a tea with mint! It was by far the best combo. I wanted to take my wife somewhere different and special for her birthday (we usually go to Asian or American food restaurants) and this was a great experience! Taking our elementary age kids, I was concerned about it not being ideal for them and possibly hookah smells, but we couldn't smell anything where we were in the indoor area and the kids enjoyed the food and had fun in the swing chairs. I can honestly say I gave this place two chances. The first time I came in with one person, it was after midnight and the service was good. The hookah was a disappointment but for a mellow environment to smoke where people don't try and turn up or get drunk it works. We left around 1:15 because the gentleman wanted to close up early because of the slow night. The second visit really managed to be the reason for me to leave a review. I went in with a group of people and we ordered a few hookahs. Being specific, the hookahs did not really give a sense that the owner understands his products. The hoses were leaking air, the bowls were the basic free ones that come with the hookahs and don't treat the tobacco correctly to simmer under the coal. I asked for a different bowl since I was not getting clouds or flavor and the employee told me that proper smoking of hookah dictated flavor over smoke. I felt like my party was constantly being watched since there weren't any other tables. I understand it's a small space and that employees probably don't have much space to navigate around the lounge and attend to business as usual but it made me feel as though I wasn't specially allowed to play with my hookah and try and coax a better smoke out of it. After the first set of coals, we were all fairly disappointed but there's really no good hookah in the area with the appropriate atmosphere we were looking for. We decided to stay while another party came in for drinks and a couple cigarettes. We never received more coal and were pretty much ignored while the employee put most of his resources towards the other table. I assume they are regulars or the owners but all the same we were ignored even as we had our hoses sitting on the table since there was no way for us to smoke with no coal. After one ok visit and another crap one, I decided a review was in order. I smoke hookah consistently and have been in the service industry for years and was saddened that in a nice area we didn't get more than I would expect at any other hole in the wall. At least the free wifi will give students something other to focus on. read more

Well this place is a hidden little treasure that is for sure. It happen to be a place that my brother stumbled upon and we went to check it out. Walking in it was a very settle, humble, and homely feeling. This is the way a lounge should feel. The music selection is just right not too loud to where you cant have a conversation but enough to where you can hear it. The lighting of the area is just right as well, not too bright and not tot dark. They do offer both indoor and outdoor seating which is great. If you ask me, I prefer the outdoor because you have that fresh air, but the greatest part is that its enclosed to where you don't get the air drafts from the cars passing. Unfortunately I have a bad cough so I couldn't enjoy it as I usually do, but I already know Im coming back. Eli is such a cool guy and good owner of this location. It was about an hour before closing and he still welcomed us in and served us. He told us the hours of operation and said if we wanted to stay a little pass the time to finish that it would be ok. He was very knowledgeable on the hookah stuff and helped us decided on what to order. Even though it was completely empty on this late late saturday night, the location is very nice and very well kept, if it wasn't too cold i would of loved to enjoy the outside seating on the patio. They do have a 1 minimum drink order like a lot of other hookah spots do as well. He also usually has hummus for sale there, just ask ask (you wont be disappointed). Looking for hookah lounges on Yelp and stumbled across this "hidden treasure". Came on a Friday night and the place was empty which is weird because it's such a nice place. Very clean and everything looks brand new, not like those ratchet ass hookah bars nowadays. The manager (I'm guessing is the manager) an older gentleman, can't recall the name, is very nice and even gave me free drinks for it being my first time here! When we entered the establishment the proprietor was rude, unengaged and was faintly hostile towards us. One of the members in my party had misplaced her ID and was distressed but she never said anything to the owner. We went outside to find her ID but when we tried to return the owner prevented us from returning and rudely told us that he was closed. He specified that his establishment was closed to US because we were disrespectful, which we were not. When you own a service industry related business you should be servicing the customer, not the other way around. We found another hookah bar with friendlier service but it's perplexing to me why the owner would be so hostile and callous to customers. read more

I tried the pirates cave for the first time and I have to say not only was it a great flavor but their hookah was the smoothest I've had in a while. Their service is awesome. We walked in at 5 pm and i was awstuck looking at the well done beautiful interior,they have a cozy and well done up patio for an open air hookah experience. The hookahs they have are best in the league,I am a hookah enthusiast and i judge lounges by how they make their double apple.lol.
