Chili burger and as solid the chile beans are ere very tasty it's like you needed more very addictive. Chicken fried steak the chicken white gravy has an original home flavor not a package made the steak was crispy with just enough gravy. Place is a diner inside a little outdated. The service was kind of slow but it was pretty crowded and the owner jumps in and makes sure to have everything you need coffee water drinks. Went for breakfast on Saturday morning in hurry so I didn't go downtown. I had 2 small children took 2 bites then they needed to use the restroom while we were in the restroom they took our entire breakfast Then they charged me but generously took off the kids meals. It's great place to have brunch and average person will find a delicious plate regardless of his/her taste . Omelette is the way to go here. Coffee and water were not ok. It is got that tab water after taste. As long as you stick to egg Benedict or omelette you won't be disappointed. Home fries were amazing. Service on the other was above and beyond my expectations from a ordinary place like this . They want to make sure you are satisfied with service. Parking was great a big shopping center with plenty of park place . Next to a brand new Light rail station that tobe opened in next few weeks. Overall it was decent food for reasonable price . Hospital food is better. First and last time going there. Food was horrible and bland. Paid over $50 for 2 meals and it was in absolutely disgusting. The service was good, not their fault the food is bad. But definitely will not go back. I only took my steak to go to give to my dogs. read more

It was my first time picking up a Togo order... she overlooked me, while several guest came in & she acknowledged them, asking how many guest they had. The folks who were in line to pay, literally looked over at me several times and asked me what I was coming in for, the gentleman (also a guest in line) literally had to point to me, to be acknowledged!!! She finally was like "pick up orders are over there!!" No guidance, no acknowledgment, very rude and racist. Will NOT be returning, such a shame. She should NOT be at the front desk. read more

My daughter was visiting her doctor across the street and we had an hour between appointments. We strolled into Silver Spoon and were pleasantly surprised. Immediately we were greeted and seated. Very friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the Chilaquiles. Good flavor in the ranchero sauce. Savory with bold flavors of peppers. I ordered the egg whites instead of yellow. They give you a generous portion. Many places give you a smaller portion when it's only whites. My daughter ordered the pancakes and eggs. It filled her stomach and we have left overs. Both meals were $30 in total which is reasonable. The ambiance is a little dark and older looking. Nothing to deter from eating here at all bit it could use a little remodel. This is my go to spot for breakfast pretty much every Saturday or Sunday. Service is quick and nice, ambiance is your typical diner spot, very mellow and laid back. Food is delicious! the only downside is this place is only open until 2pm!! I wish they were open later hours, but hey, that's how they are thriving! Always feel welcomed here as soon as i walk in the door, staff is always checking in on you and I am never waiting for anything longer than 5 minutes. The food was so salty and they close at 2 o'clock and the owner picked up my stepmom's plate a few minutes before 2 PM and was very rude saying that they close at two. Well it wasn't true yet. You have a friendly owner that greets every patron as you walk in and then he also checks on everyone and thanks you for your business, the wait staff are super friendly and pleasant. The cook staff is skilled and most everything is made in house. Most of the staff has been working there for over 20 years and the food is excellent with great portions! I drive over 30 minutes because of the service,food and the ambience of a place that has been around a long time. Went in on a Monday morning for "brunch" and was so pleasantly surprised!!! Seems like just your average greasy spoon but the food was actually very decent but the owner and employees are so kind and helpful that really made the experience worth it. The pancake was huge and fluffy, everything came out and was perfect temperature. The wrap was cool and crisp; my daughter really enjoyed it, along with the side of fruit(half was gone before I could even take the picture lol) I had the California Jack and cheese omelet and it was mixed really well, a lotta times u don't get each ingredient in one bite but this one was perfect, and I usually just take the potatoes home for later but their home fries were actually really good and I think I finished most of them!
