Took my two year-old and my husband to go get a cup of coffee the baby ordered two bowls of fruit and they charged us $47 dollars for 2 side bowls of fruit. If you have children don't order a side of fruit they will charge you $14 for a tiny bowl of fruit. Completely ridiculous. We will never go back there again and neither of my family or friends. I would not even give 1 star. They should have been honest about the price they didn't not say they were going to charge $14 for a side of fruit, especially the way the economy is today it's outrageous. Came here after seeing they offer breakfast options, and given how little is offered on the menu and lack of anything indicating that breakfast was served only until X:XX, assumed that there would be no problem. That ended up being a poor assumption... Despite being the only customers, we were informed they stopped making breakfast, which was problematic since the "Too Breakfast" was one of the only things on the menu we could eat, and we weren't really in the mood for a salad when we were craving breakfast. Ended up just getting the house lemonade and a coffee, and after politely indicating we'd just stick with our drinks since they stopped serving breakfast, the lady proceeded to literally snatch the menues off the table and storm off with the most passive aggressive frustration I've seen from a food service employee to date. First of all, we are welcomed so warmly when we walked in with our 17 year old dog. They immediately brought out water for him and made us feel so welcome. Was told about this place by a friend and decided to check it out. We ordered the Fatteh and the Zaatar and cheese crepe. The Fatteh was really delicious and flavorful and so was the crepe. I love the outdoor seating area that they have. Their prices are fair and the food is worth it. They lost one star because of one thing, it is noted on their menu that ALL their meat is halal but when we asked about the type of bacon they have, we were told that they use pork bacon. Ordered the Syrian breakfast and apparently there was a language barrier as they brought us some yogurt full of nuts. We had told the waiter that I cannot eat whole seeds but there was that big bowl full of nuts. They finally brought us the breakfast and did not bring the tea kettle as specified on the menu. Probably one of the most underrated restaurants in downtown Glendora. They have delicious food! I am currently enjoying/obsessing over my chicken arugula berries salad! Ok so here is my review only 2 stars because I ordered the salad to go. So for 12 bucks you think it would be more than lettuce a chopped tomato slices cucumbers and what is clearly left over burnt crepes. The shawarma meat was good But the rest I can do better. The management is extremely rude to paying customers. I wanted to show some friends, who were visiting me, a small business with coffee and crepes. I had been here once before and liked the food. The waitress was quick and courteous. After this last visit, I'm never coming back. The manager is anti mask and berated my friends over bringing a small pizza to the patio area. She started out saying she normally wouldn't let people bring anything. I explained we didn't mean to offend her and that we were all going to buy crepes. The manager dropped two menus the table and said "it's rude to bring food to our establishment, we aren't a coffee shop [despite being a Cafe of coffee,deserts, and hooka] . People just don't do that.". She continued on a bit longer repeating very similar statements about how rude we were. The whole time using a slow, condescending voice, as though we weren't adults or paying customers. We had already bought coffee and were just waiting for my husband before ordering. The best part is that, besides one person texting inside, we were literally their only customers. My guest felt so bad they still ordered something. The rest of us decided against ordering anything because of the outburst. We would have all ordered, like was planned, if we were politely asked not to do it next time... but instead we waited awkwardly until my friend finished and we left. We meet the owners son who was exceptionally nice and friendly. We tried out some new hookah flavours and grabbed some desert. I had the banana split which was so good. $12 bucks was a bit expensive for me, but it was good. We will definitly be back.
