I had him to clean my oriental rug that was damaged from my next door neighbor's flood. We dried the rug and he came to inspect and scheduled a cleaning for a couple of days later. He uses professional and quality products and I am so happy with the results. He even gave me a test cleaning of a stain on the carpet of our stairwell to show the quality of his products. We are going to have him back to clean our stairs and landings. He uses Housecall Pro so everything from scheduling, reminders, invoicing and payment can be done without any contact. He does need a 20 amp service (preferably) to run his equipment and water supply (we used our laundry room water supply). Highly recommended. read more

Reuben did an absolutely first-class job, with real challenges. I am not based in Chicago, but my mother is, and had some furniture she had moved from her old apartment to her new one. In her new apartment she found herself having extremely serious asthma attacks, and by a process of elimination we guessed it had to do with her furniture; even though she'd had it before, in the new configuration she was using it much, much more. Reuben not only did an absolutely amazing job on the particular couch we had suggested, but went way over and above in identifying other problem areas, and proactively cleaning them. The apartment itself had been cleaned prior to move-in, but the air vent had not, and he also suggested a hypoallergenic treatment for all the work. I need to point out that the price was *extremely* reasonable - this was not an instance of upselling. This was just supremely conscientious, professional workmanship. And the end result is that, astonishingly (touch wood!) my mother has not had an asthma attack since, and that is now more than a month ago. His follow-up, too, was of the highest order; he sent me photos of what he'd done, and checked in a month later to make sure that all was well. It doesn't get better than this. I just used this service and am extremely pleased. Reuben was detailed in his cleaning. Extremely professional (e.g using shoe covers as he moved throughout the house, cleaning up any minor spills as he went to different rooms) We have a cat which I know can add an extra dimension of complexity when cleaning carpets and upholstery but he did a wonderful job. In one of the rugs he cleaned there was actually a stain that had been there for more than 6 years. I had the rug cleaned previously and the stain wouldn't come out and so I did not even make mention of it as I did not have the expectation that the stain could be removed, but rather just wanted the rug cleaned. After Reuben left and I examined things more closer I realized he got this incredibly old stain out of the rug! (And that was without me highlighting it as an area of concern). They also have a very organized electronic notification system to alert you to a confirmation of your appointment, when they are En route to your location and when the job has completed.
