Ok. I don't review very much and never restaurants, but I need to say that Pet Patio Pickup was THE best business we used in our four year stint in Chicago. My wife mostly dealt with Trey and he was super consistent in his service for the last four years. We used two grass trays for about $90 a month or a month and a half when we were on vacation (PPP being flexible) and it was the best $$$ we spent. Letting our dog out on natural grass at 0545 am made our lives super easy. Trey was ALWAYS within a 90 minute window on Wednesday in the South Loop and NEVER failed us. Even surrounded by hundreds of restaurants and services in the neighborhood, my wife Debbie and I figured this was the best money we spent in Chicago. I am highly recommending this service. Living in a high rise downtown, it's inconvenient to take your dog out multiple times a day, especially in the horrid winters we have here. If ever there was a winter to start this service this would be it!!! We have a Pit Mix puppy and have been using this service for a few months now. We had the hardest time potty training him. He wants to go out so frequently (more than most). Living in a high rise building several trips out the door was such a hassle. He was having accidents in our house and in front of our elevator. It was awful. Then came Pet Patio Pick Up. Less than a week later he stopped having accidents in the house. He is now fully potty trained. He will whine at the door to go out. My fiancé is a medical student and his hours are varied. It's nice to know that If Moe has to go late at night I don't have to go outside. Now with this dangerous weather... Thank God we have pet patio pick up worth every penny when it's -30! Very happy with there service overall. Always friendly and flexible scheduling. We moved to a city apartment from a suburb house this year with our three Pomeranians. Our dogs were used to having free reign to run in a yard and do their business and we were worried they wouldn't adjust well to city life without their grass. Since they are small dogs and need to "go potty" more often than well trained, big dogs, we knew that walking three dogs 7 times a day would not be the most optimal situation for them. Pet Patio is like crack for high rise dog owners. With this service you never have to suit up and take the dog out when they just need to use the bathroom; just slide open the door to the balcony and let them out for a quick potty break. This is a godsend when the weather is foul. It's also fantastic for the early morning and late evening potty break. Much like DVR technology a decade ago, once you try this service you are hooked. We have been using the service for 18 months and PP has never missed a pickup. They are always on time and courteous. The sod quality is excellent and the dogs love to do their business on our balcony. Pet Patio Pickup is a great idea and a wonderful service so far. I'm only three weeks in, but it's already been incredibly convenient. I have a 4.5 month old puppy and live on the 21st floor of a high rise downtown. We had already set up our balcony for the dog to use during training months, but have found that it's an overall huge convenience to allow a dog to potty right outside. After chicken-wiring the poles on the balcony, and putting up a play pen for extra safety, we had been using a small fake grass patch. Great for training, not great for consistent use or cleaning. It gets pretty gross and starts to smell since all eliminations just sit in the bottom on the plastic tray. Pet Patio Pickup not only provides a larger space, but it is real and natural grass so that a dog can learn to associate going outside with things that are naturally outside. The fire hydrant keeps smells in and is very cute! This is a truly brilliant idea and makes sense for the majority of dog owners in Chicago - makes it easier during rainy days, cold, snowy months, puppies and older dogs and middle of the night needs. This is an awesome service - we take our puppy to the park or beach or walks every day to get in her exercise but in the meantime if our puppy has a quick potty need the Pet Patio is the perfect answer without the hassle of needing to leave the condo. It's especially nice during inclement weather and first thing in the morning since we're not morning people. We think of our trips out of the condo with the puppy as value added and we use the Pet Patio for the non-value added times she just needs to relieve herself. Having a dog in a high rise, or really any building where you're not on the ground floor, is a whole lot easier with Pet Patio. The service is affordable, and the company is very professional. Installation is quick, very clean, and always on time. Best of all, my one year old rat terrier loves the turf they use. The two large trays of turf give him plenty of room to take care of "business" on one tray and sunbathe on the other. The amount of turf at the price you pay blows the competition away. My boyfriend and I had Brad and Trey set up our pet patio a few days ago and we couldn't be happier! The set up was extremely professional ( Trey and Brad even put on special booties so they wouldn't get anything on our carpet!) and we were given some great advice about how to train our two month old Boston terrier. I don't know what we would do without our pet patio since my boyfriend lives on a high floor, and getting a puppy in the elevator and downstairs in a matter of seconds (especially at 4am) is nearly impossible.
