Since moving to the Leipers fork area almost five years ago, this is my only coffee shop. When I have to leave town, i'm disappointed with the offerings by the hotel, hospital, or local coffee shop. The African Bird ground for my French press. Or the papa bird or the mama bird lattes at Red Byrd stand out as the best. I don't know if it's the Leipers fork water, where they source, their coffee, or just how joyful Kyle and Sadie are whenever I get to visit their shop. I hope you get to come and visit the best coffee place around bring your pups and babies. There's outside seating next to a babbling creek, swingset, and down the street from a mountain biking park and the winding road of Natchez Trace. Great coffee, wonderful people, and idyllic location.

Three strikes, sorry RedByrd. I've been here a few times over the course of three years - it's next to Hillsboro middle school so it's very convenient after a school drop in the morning. Ultimately, I always leave disappointed. Here's my final experience: My plain latte isn't super special. Add a shot, no foam, 170 degrees - I like it hot, it is what it is. The owner told me they don't have a thermometer and she would do her best. Ok, sure, no complaints. But it came out and wasn't hot and had two solid inches of foam. Once you get past the foam, there was relatively little coffee. The reason I get no foam is so I get the entire 12 oz - which is nice when you're paying $6.50 for a drink. Asked her very kindly if she would please remake it because it was closer to 10oz and not very hot. She says yes, and proceeds to ring me up for another cup. When I reiterate the issue, she said she made the order, so this is a new order. I'm a little speechless. Then she says "We like to form relationships here...so I'll do it this time". Again, kind of speechless. But here's the kicker...this time, she pulls out a THERMOMETER. And now I'm fully speechless. We lapse into a friendly conversation and she tells me that most people like the coffee flavor better at 150 degrees, to which I reply that's because the milk gets sweeter, which isn't really my thing. She then proceeds to tell me that she is the one who came up with the coffee blend they use and if I don't like it, I should probably go somewhere else. Now, I never said anything at all about the flavor of the coffee, and no part of this dialogue was combative or really confrontational, but I'm pretty sure she's telling me at this point not to come back. *scratching head* Got my coffee. It's perfectly acceptable. It honestly tastes nearly identical to Dunkin Donut's dark roast drip, for anyone who would like a comparison point. It's dark, a little muddy, definitely abrasive at three shots. I'd recommend not adding another shot, it ruins any chance of balance and it's definitely strong enough in flavor with just two. Bottom line: Lots of people love this place, but lots of people love Dunkin Donuts dark roast drip coffee too...just not my thing. Personally, I'd drive the extra 20 minutes to The Fainting Goat in Spring Hill. Awesome folks, solid coffee (Hatcher dairy used - bonus!), and a really nice atmosphere.

Excellent coffee with a variety of unique (and traditional) options to choose from. And the stand (trailer) is fun and cool. Right outside the cute town of Leiper's Fork, and well worth a stop. I had a Papa Byrd, which is a blackberry latte, and it was delicious. There was a nice blackberry flavor without being too sweet. Very good! Another in our group had the Vanilla Lavender Latte on ice, and she kept saying how delicious it was. The iced Americano was also excellent. We didn't try the pastry items they have, but they looked great. And the service was helpful and friendly. If you're in the area it is worth checking out Leiper's Fork and the nearby Natchez Trace Parkway. And then be sure to stop by RedByrd for an excellent beverage!

Redbyrd is a gem of a coffee shop located in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. Leipers Fork is only about a half-hour from the Franklin, TN area. This coffee shop is set up like a food truck on side of the road. It's just down the street from art galleries, shops, and small restaurants in this picturesque town. They serve both hot and cold drinks. Due to the heat when we were there, we all opted for cold coffee. It was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend you stopping by. I personally like supporting the small, locally owned businesses more than the coffee super-chains from the Pacific Northwest. Bottom line - Excellent coffee served with southern hospitality charm. Leipers Fork is a fantastic small town and worth the visit. Located within a very short driving distance of Franklin, Tennessee. I don't think you will be disappointed.

A great cafe right outside of Downtown Liepers Fork. This coffee shop is right near a gas station inside of a converted tiny house and they have you covered food and beverage wise. This stop was purely a need for caffeine, you know that mid-afternoon slump. I ordered a cold brew and my wife got the Mama Byrd. The Mama Byrd is a vanilla/lavender latte. I didn't try this, but it smelled amazing. The cold brew was very tasty, but a little on the light side. I could have used more of a kick. If you live in Nashville or even Franklin I don't think this coffee shop would be worth the trip, but if you find yourself in Leipers Fork, bottoms up!

A true gem in the heart of Franklin. We stopped in for coffee and some treats early morning. They sell fun stickers and mugs--get you some swag! We found a lady's wallet at the benches behind the coffee shop and they were so kind to work to return it to the owners!

Drove 20 min off my 840 route for some coffee. No regrets! AWESOME cold brew, stickers, & customer service! If I could give this place 20 stars I would. They also have cold brew growlers--incredible.

Heck yes I recommend this business! In fact, I'll drive 20 min for their Mama Bird Lavender Latte. Friendly, sunshine service awaits. You'll stand in line but while doing so, take in the Leipers Fork country views, chat w/ another coffee enthusiast or in my case, eat my favorite chocolate chip cookie from the adjacent LF Market-save half the cookie to dip! Don't forget to sneak inside the trailer for their cool merch!

Sweet people with big hearts and the coffee is the bomb. Definitely giving a nice tip every time I swing by. I'll take 2 Momma Byrd coffees, thanks!!

Frank is a wonderful host, and Cathy did a wonderful job of managing the kitchen. Their staff is equally friendly and professional. The coffee at Just Love is excellent, but frankly the best reason to go to Just Love is their amazing breakfast and lunch menu. There is literally other coffee shop that even comes close to the food choices available at Just Love. It is what makes Just Love more than just another coffee shop. It is as good a breakfast and lunch cafe as any in the Spring Hill area. If your taste runs to omelets, bacon (extra crispy please), waffles, salads, etc. Just Love has you covered. Their niche, if you will, is to cook many of their food items in a waffle iron. It truly makes their omelets special. They also have a signature item that is a tater tot waffle that is truly delicious. Just Love has been, is, and probably always will be our go to place for a delicious coffee and breakfast on Sunday.

Service: polite and efficient. (One member of our group thought it was just perfunctory. I felt otherwise.) Food: brewed coffee - meh. Other breakfast food - very very good. Avocado toast was seasoned nicely and slathered generously with mashed avocado. Breakfast tacos were judged just fine. Eggs Benedict absolutely five stars!! Perfectly - runny yolk - poached eggs on top of tender Canadian bacon sitting on lightly toasted English muffins, all covered with a delectable slightly lemon-forward (I loved it) hollandaise. A small, albeit adequate, portion of hashbrowns, accompanied the eggs along with a few fresh greens. I would order this again in a heartbeat. Ambience: here's where Fika stumbled a bit. While, it is technically handicap-accessible, including wheelchairs" it is difficult for someone in a wheelchair to maneuver as attested by folks sitting next to us. Tables are so tightly packed, it is difficult for anyone to maneuver through to get to a table or all the way to the back to get to a restroom. Fortunately, everyone who was there the morning we visited was reasonably polite and made way for a few people who had some ambulatory difficulties, myself included. Biggest drawback for our group of three was that the acoustics were/are horrible. Nothing on the bare walls or ceiling to muffle or enhance the sound. Screaming children (not a complaint, just an observation) sent piercing squeals reverberating off the walls. Polite conversation was virtually impossible. My suggestion would be that the owners hang some sort of draperies or whatever to absorb the deafening cacophony.
