Let me start by saying the food here is wonderful and for ambiance, this is one of favorite restaurants. The problem I encountered yesterday involved terrible service from ONE server. The reason I boldly state one server is because all the rest are incredibly polite, attentive, and just wonderful overall. Well, the server I am talking about has served us a couple of times and everyone can have a bad day, but this young lady makes it a point to be snobbish, curt, and completely inattentive every time we've had the misfortune of her service. This makes the whole dining experience less than satisfactory. With any other server, the experience is usually spot on and enjoyable. What makes this all worse is that we decided to talk to the owner. we asked the lackluster server if the owner was available. She lied and said he wasn't there and he only worked weekdays, Monday through Friday. We know this to be wrong because we saw his truck out front. We asked another server, if he was present and she went over to his office and "low-and-behold," he step out. Nothing I hate more than being lied to. To top it all off and really push our decision not to return to this restaurant was that when we talk to the owner and explain the problem he cut the conversation short and stated as he walked off, that he would talk to ALL the servers. I reiterated that it wasn't all the service, all the servers are usually awesome that it was one server that needed a training moment and he stated again, very direct, that he would talk to all of them as he walked away from us without another word. This shows lack of leadership and I know because I've been a supervisor (a leader) for over 40 years, so I'm led to believe that all the servers will get talked to and the one that is the issue will not be held accountable, which means I don't feel like I need to spend my money here again. Very unfortunate. We really grew like this place a lot. read more

Tried Bleachers for the first time for lunch. The outdoor seating is lovely overlooking the golf course. We sat inside as it was a bit chilly and there were open tables on a slow Wednesday. I ordered the Cod n Chips with a glass of virgin mojito. The fish was nicely battered and crispy. I chose tater tots over the usual fries and the tots had a nice crunch, too. The virgin mojito had too much lime for me, but other than that, it was nice lunch. The interiors are dated, but is typical of golf course cafes. read more

I ordered the double smash burger with fries. When I went to pick it up, it was sitting on the counter, I asked the waitress how long my food had been sitting in the open and she said I'm sorry, sir. 10/10. My co worker told me to try it out , so we went last night. Im OBSESSED. It's next to the golf course, but you wouldn't know because you're in your own flower oasis. The flowers were so beautiful I'm seriously obsessed. The lighting also gave it a fun vibe. Service was quick and our waitress was very sweet. Food and drinks though... OMG. I've been a satisfied customer at Bleachers since they opened. Never thought to make a review since they've been experiencing the standard growing pains of any new business. While the food is pretty good every time we've been there and they rotate the menu items regularly. Always good stuff. That said the service leaves much to be desired. My assumption is that good waitstaff is transient and hard to get at this semi remote location. Otherwise I really like the small town feel of this establishment. Kudos for that alone. read more

Only counting my "Check ins" on Yelp, this is my 54th visit here. The service is good and friendly and the food is delicious. It's so much better than you expect for a public golf course. They have a full menu not just burgers and dogs. There are special and those are worth checking out, they are great surprises. There is a full bar with several mircobrews. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This restaurant is at CedarcrestGC and handles food and beverages for the course. Today it was nearly 80 degrees outside and there was no beverage cart on the course because someone didn't show up for their shift in the restaurant. The girls are working their ass off in that restaurant and Jeff, the owner, is out on the patio watering flowers instead of helping them inside. There was no beverage cart on the course all day, but rest assured the flowers look great. The service was great inside but we won't go there again because of the owner. read more

Met a colleague here for lunch recently, to talk shop away from the shop. I had a small side salad, and it was huge. It had good stuff with the fresh greens: tomatoes; mushrooms; onion; and some fried Fritos type deal on top. I enjoyed a Boundary Bay IPA as well. I really like chicken Caesar salad with the crunchy pita type croutons, the chicken wings are very good, but the fish & chips are on the smaller portion size, we ordered an extra fish for $3.00 and it was filling. Bleacher's is located at the Marysville Golf Course, and is a family restaurant. They have a reasonable priced menu filled with all the comfort foods of home. They even have a children section on their menu. They have patio section in the summer, that is open to all diners, and the golfers. My new favorite restaurant in Marysville. We've skipped by this place for years but started coming here during summer and dining on their patio which is great! Now it's winter time and we come often and the indoor experience is just as great. What makes it so great is the staff, and the food! Staff is super nice, friendly, and just the right amount of attentiveness. They seem genuinely happy to work here, and that's a great sign of good leaders. Food is large portions of deliciousness, really great food. Never had anything I've not really enjoyed. Sometimes the sell out of there specials, like prime rib Saturdays, so you should go early if that's what you really want. Inside is a little older but the decorate it really nice and it's really clean. We seem to default now to coming here as we know we're going to be satisfied. So we stopped going there. After, passing and reading the"Bill Board" time and time again, we decided over a year ago, we would give it another try? Hello, Now my cooking, which I thought I was pretty proficent doesn't hold a candle to Jeff's! I got to tell you, his menu is extensive, and you have many choices. His business has escalated three fold in the last 6 months. He is adding onto the bar, which you can also sit and eat and be comfortable. The "Party Room" is great for a private party, or a Special Occasion. We look forward to going there, and actually we have entertained our out of town, out of state guest there. Celebrated my stepdaughter's birthday here. The patio is beautiful but will be gorgeous when the planter boxes fill out this summer. The food is very good. My grandson had the Bleecher Burger which is topped off by a grilled cheese sandwich. The fry sauce is killer good and the service was great; efficient and friendly. We were able to bring our own birthday cake with no fuss. Highly recommend this restaurant. Its nice to have more that one restaurant in the are that is not fast food. read more

We recently had our annual class luncheon for the Marysville High School class of 1957 and I can't say enough good things about the good food and service we received at Bleacher's Grill. Our waitress was Keisha and she was so friendly and professional and didn't bat an eye when we asked for separate checks. The food was outstanding and I didn't hear one bad remark. Tried Bleachers for the first time with the take out family meal due to being "hunkered down". 4 pulled pork sandwiches, fries and a salad were a fantastic deal as the family special. Pork was excellent and we will totally order take out again and once the pandemic is over, enjoy a deck experience this summer. We will be back to support our local restaurant. read more

Disappointed! Since Bleachers took over at Cedarcrest Golf Course, things have gone downhill. The offerings are nowhere near as good as they used to be. I decided to check out the "All You Can Eat" crab deal on Thursdays. I had a friend from Seattle meet me there at 6:00. We were seated and told there was plenty of crab if we wanted to order the crab deal. We ordered and were served drinks, only to have a server then tell us, "oops, sorry, we can't take any more crab orders." What a disappointment, and there was nothing else on the menu we wanted. We paid for the drinks and left. So, I guess if you want crab, you have to be there before 6:00 p.m.! On a better note, the drinks are very reasonable--most wines are only $4.00. In the summer, the view is nice out on the patio. It would also be nice if they added a vegi burger subsitute for their burger options. read more
