Absolutely amazing place. The atmosphere is great with the brick and the warm colors. Great bread for starters. I love butter and theirs is herbed. I had the seared sea scallops over the couscous with apple. Amazing. I had become disillusioned recently about scallops from other places but these were seared perfectly and very flavorful. The couscous was the perfect accompaniment. My girlfriend's pork chop was excellent. Tender, the correct temperature. The risotto was great. The cocktail menu was unique and we enjoyed a couple of great drinks. The El Chupacabra was a surprise. Service was just right. They were there when we needed it otherwise left us alone to enjoy. We are natives to the area and don't frequent snohomish for food all the time but wanted to try this place for quite some time . Was a real let down . First we felt we were questioned for coming in , secondly felt we were imposing for coming in 15 mins after opening , and for not being regulars we felt like we were just taking up precious seats that other regulars deserved over us . My husband and I got take out at this lovely restaurant for our monthly date this past Saturday. We both chose pork dishes - he got the smoked pork, and I got the sambuca pork. My pork was a bit too fatty for my liking, but this is a personal preference issue, and I know every cut of meat is a bit different from every other cut of meat. My pork was moist and cooked well, and it was very flavorful. The portion size was fairly generous; I was able to leave off all of the fatty bits, and I still felt full afterwards. The risotto that came with my pork was pretty much near perfection. It was moist, warm, creamy, delicious - everything a risotto should be. We had the margherita flatbread for our appetizer (gluten-free version). It was tasty, but in my personal opinion the pesto wasn't as flavorful as I prefer, and some slices of the flatbread were more moist, while other slices tasted a bit dry. Pesto is one of my favorite foods on earth, though, and I've had pesto brought back for me from Italy by friends and family, so my pesto standards are probably pretty high. However, we liked the flatbread enough that we would definitely order it again. My husband enjoyed his pork. I had a couple of bites of his pork, and his pork was leaner than mine, which I liked. However, his pork was described on the menu as smoked, but it didn't look or taste smoked to either my husband or I. We liked it a lot, though, which is what matters the most to us. In my personal opinion, the prices are a tad high for the value and quality of the food. Our base amount for 2 dinners and 1 appetizer (no drinks, no dessert, nothing else) was around $80, not including our tip (we do tip generously for take-out orders). However, the price was on par with what we typically spend for dinner out for our monthly date. The front of this restaurant is just gorgeous, and the restaurant is located in the quaint historic downtown area of the city of Snohomish. We had never visited this area before. It's a lovely place to visit, and this restaurant stood out as one of the most beautiful establishments there. For those who are making the choice to eat in, this restaurant featured folksy live guitar music on the Saturday night that we stopped by to pick up our take-out order! We loved listening to live music pre-pandemic, so it was nice to see that happening. We had slightly mixed feelings about this place, but overall we had a good experience eating the Repp's delicious dinners. read more

We made easy reservations a few weeks prior to going and were seated right away once we arrived. It was a nice day so the place was packed, lively, and noisy. We could hear the live music setting up and doing a few songs in the loft area. For apps we ordered bacon wrapped scallops and honey garlic shrimp. Both of which were very over-cooked and pricey for the amount offered. Dinner was chicken marsala and the apple goat cheese flatbread. Both were tasty and worth returning for. We skipped dessert but had a second drink (try the Hummingbird!) to cap off our evening. read more

Ask the receptionist if the chef is serving Joel's Egg Toss--a chef daily special that is always surprising. Eggs are always a part of the dish, but they're always used in some clever way. My mom had her birthday here. I called the restaurant from out of state while she was there having her meal. I spoke to JOHN who was rude on the phone. My parents are regulars there since it opened so having gone there for over a decade, they know who they are. Mind you there were only a handful of people in the whole restaurant when I called. I told him they were sitting at the bar top, described them and he said they weren't there. I just wanted them to acknowledge her birthday because she's so special and he intentionally dismissed it. Meanwhile, she heard him saying they weren't there on the phone while sitting behind him at the bar. Very disappointed in this extreme lack of kindness and care. read more

Have heard so many good things just had to check it out. Parking is much better around 8pm. It has a very very old rustic feel with weathered tables and antiques scattered about. Seating is varied and interesting. Some booths, some open space seating and then a more private type lounge area. It was a fun vibe. I thought the menu was unique. Unfortunately I'm not a seafood person at all which limited my options. I did get the fish and chips which were good. I will try something else next time. read more

How have I never reviewed The Repp before? My husband and I have been here 5/6 times? (and are going again today!) It's only a few miles from our house and the atmosphere is fantastic. Think Central Perk but cooler and with booze. They've had live music most nights we've been there - the musician is up in sort of a loft above the tables. Sometimes it's a bit too loud but I just love people that can entertain so I'm great with that. And the food. Are you kidding me? I could eat the garlic honey prawns every day for every meal. Amazing. Great wine selection, delicious desserts and even though we only go about once every 6-8 months? I think we've had the same server each time. Which is cool because she did a great job but also tells me that the management is doing something right to keep people in an industry with super high turnover. Can't wait to go again in a few hours! What a hidden gem on 1st St! I've been coming down here for years and never even saw this place. We stopped in during happy hour and got the last two chairs in the bar, it was very busy the entire time we were there. The service was awesome and the regulars were there to provide additional entertainment. We had a couple times from the happy hour menu and a couple appetizers that were on the happy hour menu. Everything pictured was sooo delicious but for $68, we were still a little hungry and had additional food later in the evening. Next time I think I'd order more and stick with the HH menu to get the best bang for our buck. I did also expect 3 goat cheese balls like the other photos so was surprised by two because they are amazing! The entrees also looked delicious and can't wait to come back and try the seafood linguine or chicken marsala. read more

My friend and I visited The Repp specifically for a cocktail, as she recommended this was the place in downtown Snohomish for such. She's a Snohomish native, so she would of course know! On a Saturday night the place was super packed and loud. But we managed to grab two seats at the bar, just as a couple was leaving. It's the place to be for a night out in Snohomish. I ordered a Nocino Old Fashioned, since an old fashioned is one of my favorite cocktails, but the twist on this is that it includes Snohomish's Skip Rock Distillery's Nocino walnut liqueur. The cocktail was strong on the booze, with a Bulleit bourbon base, which is how I like my cocktails. Yet the walnut addition was a nice touch. It did taste more of the sweet walnut flavor than the bourbon, but it was still good. I also liked that they used a huge block of a single ice cube, so as to not dilute the cocktail. Although we didn't have any food, I noticed that many people like to go here for more of an elevated dining experience than the surrounding restaurants, serving typical pub grub and American classics. The Repp is needed in Snohomish simply for that. I'm glad I was able to enjoy a cocktail here, now knowing The Repp is certainly an option for when of those random nights out in downtown Snohomish. read more

We have been coming here for years, and it never disappoints! Whitney is our favorite bartender and has next level mixology skills... she can mix anything and strives to craft a personal experience. The food is also fantastic, staff is just the best! John is one of the friendliest waiters you'll ever know and makes me smile every time I'm in. It's a popular place so if you want a table, I recommend making reservations. The bar is always full, but if you wait patiently, a spot opens up without too much wait. My max time over the years hasn't exceeded 30 minutes. Quite possibly the best place in Snohomish...the marsala is on point, and every app is fantastic. I absolutely love this place! read more

My husband and I came across this place by accident. The place was already full, but there was a sofa seat left at the window that the host offered us. We thought it was odd at first, but it turned out we loved it! So different than what we are used to but so nice. Such great staff, such a fun atmosphere and the live music on the weekend was the perfect touch! Not to mention, the food was amazing!! I met a friend here for happy hour. Free street parking can be found. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Happy Hour is offered daily from 3pm-6pm in the bar or the window lounge area. At the time of our visit, the window area was taken so we had to sit in the bar area. The bar seating is awkward (no tables - narrow bar only) and not really set up for a lengthy visit without getting a kink in ones neck. We had a couple pints of Georgetown Pilsner for $4.50 (hh). I ordered the Margarita Flatbread for $7 (hh): pesto, mozzarella, tomato and fresh basil. The flatbread was a nice size. I wouldn't order again in the future since I found the sauce to be bland. Service was all right. Nothing notable. Overall, The Repp will is not my first choice when planning to meet for happy hour (never been in the actual restaurant). read more

So, it was a Friday night. I'm a new resident of Snohomish, looking forward to trying the town eateries. This night I was pretty tired after an eleven hour day, and I decided to go out to eat. The most expensive restaurant in town... As a man with national corporate customer service awards, extensive experience in the restaurant industry (both sides of the register, fine dining; top three market) a published reviewer and a business owner, I know of what I speak... I arrived at The Repp 8:30ish. I told the greeter I came for dinner. Yes, I was a single top. He said they don't normally seat singles at a table for dinner. Yea, really... Let that sink in... Enlightened, nearly insulted, and looking around, I could see there were some empty tables. Hmm. OK, I'm from Chicago. I can see when a favor is in order. I had neither the energy nor indignity to raise a finger and leave, and I had a taste for a seafood/pasta/cream sauce dish that I knew they served. So, I say that it's my birthday. (It was.) The greeter did me a favor and allowed me to patronize this establishment. Gee, thanks. I guess I owe ya one. The food was good, but nothing I couldn't make. (Had to order a side to get a vegetable with the pasta). I declined desert after a rich entree. Notably, none was offered as a birthday gratis. People seem to like this place, and it is nice. My experience was less than it should or could have been. Why bring my out-of-town friends here, or return personally? read more

Great spot! Came here spontaneously while on a trip to Snohomish. Didn't have a reservation (it was a Friday night and the booths/tables were packed) but was able to snag 2 seats at the bar. OMG, I'm from LA and the food here is good AND affordable. I was shocked. I'm used to overpaying for mediocre food so I was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely loved the clams appetizer and the burger was tasty too. We also got one round of drinks and the bill was still surprisingly not that much. Waiter was super friendly. Don't remember his name but he had a cast on his arm. Ate at a lot of places in downtown Snohomish during my stay and I can confidently say this is the best there! read more

Horrid to say the least! I liked the bread that came! But everything else we ordered was far below average! The caprese salad was ok, the tomatoes used here were far below quality for this salad! The Special was disgusting! I ordered their special of the day which was salmon on a bed of pesto pasta -- that thing tasted like rubber! I mean even Denny's would make a better pasta than that! And it was $45!!! Wth! Never ever ordered a special there again! It was so so bad and so overpriced! Like the pasta had no flavor it was like eating rubber and the salmon was blend, no seasoning whatsoever Service: 4 stars The bartender clearly loved her job! She was happy! Everyone there was kind. Went here with my husband and in laws a couple weeks ago. I had a wonderful Lavender Gin drink, and had the prawns, cheese dip, and goat cheese balls to start. All were very delicious, but the prawns reminded me very much of the honey walnut prawns at PE. They also weren't de-spined. I then had the scallops with couscous,bacon, and apple. Oh it was so delicious!! I finished every bite. The pricing at this restaurant is pretty steep. My husband and I paid $86 for just our entrees and drinks. Super friendly service. Really cute restaurant. It is really loud! But it worked out well having our two young kids because others couldn't hear them! All the staff was so nice! Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and super accommodating. We were there for the live music as well. The singer was great and it was enjoyable e to have live music! The food was delicious. Two of us got the Filet and it was out of this world. The appetizers were great as well. Probably will save this for special occasions as it's a little pricey but totally worth it! My party of 4 had 7:45pm reservations on Saturday night. I called those reservations in on Thursday and that was the earliest time I could get. Just so you know - make those reservations early! I really love this restaurant and wish we had more like it in my town. The food and drink are PERFECTLY executed every time. This time I ordered the veggie risotto and cleaned my plate. I even had a dinner roll because...ciabatta...and rosemary-butter!!! Our server this time seemed a bit overwhelmed but I can understand why - it was packed in there. They had a fabulous pair of live musicians playing awesome cover songs, adding to the wonderful ambience of the restaurant. It's pretty loud on a Saturday night with the live music and super-packed bar but if you've got yourself a booth you'll be able to hear your dinner companions but no one can hear you coughing or laughing loudly (score for me as I was getting over a cold). I took one star off this time for two reasons: (a) Two in our party ordered salad + entree/app and two just ordered entrée. Without asking our preference, our server brought out the 2 salads first....so two of us sat for 30 minutes watching our friends eat. That was a bummer. We were hungry. (b) Our server asked if we wanted change back. That is a huge pet peeve of mine. I consider it unprofessional. It's the equivalent of saying "Is this how big my tip is going to be?". Just bring the change back and let the patron dole out the tip they deem appropriate. In my case I put $40 cash on a $21 tab...so yes, I wanted cash back. But don't make me say that. Ugh. read more

Love love love this place and the owners. Cute venue, amazing and consistent food, delicious craft cocktails, hosts live music, and best of all, the staff is unreal and feels like family! My favorite dishes are the burger (melt in your mouth), chicken marsala, fish and chips (with homemade tartar), seafood risotto (add scallops), grilled caesar, the list goes on. Best cocktails IMO are the cosmo, fresh homemade margarita, and the lemon drop. You won't regret coming here, ever. read more

Took my mom to the restaurant for the first time for both of us. When we arrived we were asked if we are having lunch or just drinks. We said drinks and appetizers as my mom and I like to order 2-4 appetizers to share and explore. At this time, only 1 other couples were in the restaurant enjoying their meal at a table. We were told by staff we could only sit at bar and not booth. My mom is a senior with not the best hips for the table bar chairs. I mentioned that my mom would be more comfortable at a table and we would order several drinks and appetizers/small plates. They said it's saved for entree orders only. I noted that only 1 person was in the restaurant and they still said no. We left to try another local restaurant. Will not be back unfortunately. read more

After dinner on a Friday evening, the group I was with decided to grab a few drinks before calling it a night. There are not many options for this in the little downtown area of Snohomish so we ended up at The Repp. I found it to be adorable and I love that we were seated on the cozy couches next to the large window overlooking the outside sidewalk, which turned out to be even more perfect once it started pouring outside and this San Diego girl could watch the strange phenomenon of water falling from the sky. hehe This along with the rock fountain table that we used to sit our drinks on and live music in the background really made for a quaint evening of comfortable chatting. The Repp specializes in wines and hand crafted cocktails and while I cannot seem to find exactly what I ordered on their online menu, it was delicious and strong. I felt a slight buzz after just sipping down half of my drink, so be wary of that! Overall, a great venue for chatting with friends or an intimate date night. read more
