I had to argue with her night nurse to give her pain medicine thst hospice Said she could have any time I felt she was in pain he had the nerve to ask me how I new she was in pain .than he just put the medicine down her throat instead of on her gums like he was suppose to . All the other nurse put it on her gums. My mom was a patient there for 7 half years the administrator didn't even know who I was talking about when I mention my mother name . I would not recommend this nursing home . When my mom passed away I asked the nurse to call funeral home for me to ask them to come get her he called my phone that I had turned off at the time and said come collect body of I'm not putting her name on here but he wasn't very nice what he said. I had to here this when I got home . I called funeral home myself . If I could give this place a 0 I would

Thankfully, my daughters knew Caroline H. who works for this agency. After a short hospital stay which disrupted both her diet and memory, Mom needed hands-on help until a room was available in assisted living. It was such a blessing to have Emily G. and Julie R. as the aides Caroline assigned. They pureed her meals, reminded her to take medications, provided mental stimulation and even some physical exercise. One or the other of the aides was in her apartment 7 hours a day 7 days a week for 10 weeks. the care they provided was in every way exceptional and the genuine respect they showed was wonderful since she had already lost so much. And finally, the fact that my previously independent Mom looked forward each day to simply having them arrive is in the end the best testimonial of all. If I ever needed private care again I would look no further than this wonderful agency. Ruth C.

From the NP to the doctors, I have always been treated well. They listen when I describe the…read moreissue/problem, and make appropriate recommendations. Been going here over 10 years, and my wife goes as well. There is a reason they keep expanding, and it is because they do a good job. I've never waited as long as others have said, and I always get an appointment rather than just walk in. They also have recommended me to outside experts when needed who have been very helpful.

They are great! Until you actually have a medical crisis. They claim to have an urgent care center,…read morebut if you try to go there, they tell you to go to the hospital ER. They would rather you go to the ER during the rising pandemic... I digress. Do the other things they want me to do. Nope, not good enough. Treated like a malingerer, no sympathy or offer to help. Just - "You faker! You took ONE WHOLE MG instead the .5 you were prescribed! You disobeyed my instructions! Of course you ran out early! No, you can't refill your prescription four days early, and no, we will not discuss why .5 once a day seems to not be sufficient (even though the general dosage is 1mg twice a day, or .5mg twice a day) or why a nurse practitioner said this prescription wasn't even therapeutic, you can't have any more, just go suffer. "And let's sign a contract that I will prescribe and you will take it as prescribed." Like I am a teenager signing a drinking contract with my mom. Get out here. That's what the instructions on the bottle are. So, if the lowest dose of .5mg doesn't help I just have to suffer until...I can reach you and get an appointment so you can say - no, you can't take a whole mg? Even though everywhere says 1 mg is appropriate. Do they like to see people suffer, or is Ritvo on some power trip that she would deny medication to someone suffering as punishment because they disobeyed her orders? Under the guise of "safety." When you are prescribing under the recommended dose and your patient is suffering AND running out early, you just...do nothing. What is this some sort of test: Will patient suffer at the alter of my instructions, rather than defy them? Reach out for help. But not here! They just make up whatever they want and don't care about helping patients.
