Came here thanks to a friend and was greeted warmly ... they gave me a quick rundown of how they operate and told me a can sit anywhere and order thru the QR code at the area that I choose. They have 3 nice cabanas to rent out... i ordered a few cocktails that Jae brought out to me who was also the bartender... great service overall... he also made some amazing cocktails.... be sure to get your membership to truly enjoy this experience

They did not have a lot of drinks! Servers was very nice! The food was ok, but one of our friends steaks were not prepared like she wanted.

The servers was great but the food was ok. Our friends meal was not correct! This could be a better prepared food and place.

Amazing scene, pool, view and service. DCs modern country club - who needs golf? Menu is on target and drinks are very well apportioned.

Im not sure how to explain it, but their tartar sauce kind of a hint of smokey chipotle or some chili powder in it. really good. the beer selection is whack. I was told that mid-week or thurs-Saturday, they either have live music or a dj and it becomes a pretty crowded scene.

I opted for the fried chicken sandwich and wasn't too impressed, as it wasn't a chicken breast but a thigh. I was a bit disappointed, to be honest, but the fries and chipotle mayo were great. (In all fairness I went back and read the menu afterwards and it did say it was a chicken thigh, so user error on my part. That said, the chicken was still dry and the tasted a bit oily.) As far as ambiance, it was welcoming. Perfect for a group brunch, as they also have outdoor seating. The biggest plus is that they also validate garage parking!

The location is great, and the decor makes you feel very comfortable, almost homey. The only negative (and this only applies to gluten-free folks like me) is that they do not have gluten-free bread, pasta, or pizza. This limits quite a bit of what is available. Still, they have worked with me to figure things out the four times we have gone. If you are not gluten-free, this is a must. If you are, check the menu beforehand and have all your questions ready to discuss with the waiter.

This is our neighborhood restaurant so came here for restaurant week dinner. The place is…read morerelatively new opened less than a year ago. It has a contemporary upscale interior and seating is mostly spacious - except for the rows of two tops. Luckily the hostess must have read my mind and seated us in my favorite curved banquette - a more comfortable and private space. The RW menu turned out to be a bit confusing - it was different from the one I saw online - the online version was $40 for dinner but with most mains with up to $10 add-ons, the only one without the add-on was the trout which I was planning to order. However the menus at the restaurant were completely different. Now there were two options one for $40 and one for $55 (with no more add-ons, as well as no more bass which with the add on would have been $50) but the trout was now only Included in the $55 version. So I ended up with pasta instead. The switch wasn't a deal breaker for us but I can imagine it causing problems for others especially it's not just switching dishes but also prices. Anyway, despite the initial confusion with different menus we had a good time as both food and service were excellent (and I liked our seating which definitely mitigated the menu issue). Note that like many other restaurants in the area they now automatically include a 20% service charge which is prominently shown in the check so additional tip is appreciated but not required.

Now for the food: we ordered the fish and chips and the cornmeal crusted trout, both were excellent. For the fish and chips, the fish was tender and flavorful, while the batter was rich and crispy. My dinner at Buck's Fishing and Camping was the best I have had in a long time....by a long shot…read more This is one of the few restaurants in the area where I can truly feel that the kitchen cares about food. And what a joy that is. Although it has been around for decades, Buck's has adapted deftly to our current inflationary environment. Perhaps a luxurious dish like steak au poivre is not longer affordable? Well then, how about Burger Au Poivre? With top quality toppings creatively prepared: grilled oyster mushrooms, gruyere and white cheddar cheese, and grilled vincotta marinated onions. Oh my word. All of it was beautifully plated on a bed of cracked peppercorn sauce. Of course the meat itself was of excellent quality, perfectly cooked to order at medium rare. At $31 it is not cheap, but I think a bargain for a meal that sends you over the moon. An equivalent quality steak would have been exorbitant. We paired it with asparagus tempura (also excellent), a nice bottle of Montepulciano de Abruzzo, and for dessert, apple crisp. I also truly appreciate that the portions are generous. Another thing that has become rare these days. Given the service and unique ambience, this is a special occasion restaurant that is fantastic bang for the "Buck," while also casual enough for date-night any day of the week.

I have been to the neighborhood before but not this particular location. I arrive a bit early and get a table immediately. The restaurant is on the dark side so you have to tip your menu toward the table light. I was in the mood for spaghetti and meatballs ( not on the menu) but the waitress took the order without a problem. I also ordered garlic bread. She brought a glass of water and I decided on a glass of wine, pinot noir I think. The garlic bread and wine arrive quick. I'm enjoying the first piece of garlic bread and sipping the wine. Nice! The spaghetti and meatballs came out shortly thereafter. I was a disappointed with this part of the meal. Meatballs lacked flavor. No garlic, no parmesan cheese. The pasta was fine but the sauce was watery and didn't taste like gravy at all. I ate most of it, the garlic bread accenting the meal with the wine. I will probably go back. I like the small mom and pop restaurants like I'm Eddie Cano. Service was very good. I was able to get a reservation. The place was clean. It's coming up on comfort food season and I'm always in the mood for Italian.

Although the space is on the smaller side, there was plenty of bar seating, an ample number of booths and the drink prices were a good deal. If I lived a little closer, I could see myself dropping by much more frequently. T he only downside that felt apparent to everyone I came here with, was the strong smell of fried fish. I personally wasn't too phased, assuming it as part of their menu. But the longer we settled in we realized it was coming in from an adjacent business which is incredible hard to control. With that being said, we smelled like fried fish when we got into my friends car and the smell followed us everywhere for the rest of the night. Like I said, I understand that's a hard thing to control but it may be something to be mindful of if you've got anywhere you need to go after. Overall though, totally in love with the laid back vibes here and would definitely return.
