    Nanny's bottle collection.

I really like Nanny's. Definitely a place to grab a bite with friends or have a drink and watch the soccer or softball game. Definitely an Irish pub with Guinness and Smithwicks. I was just enjoying a Natty Boh watching the girls college softball. I have had the wings, pretty good and the burgers are fine. Definitely will repeat.

Nothing special. Fries are from a bag. The menu reads the Buffalo wings are "their take" on Buffalo wings, but it's not - the sauce is straight out of a bottle. My bacon on my BLT was also burnt so that was pretty lame. The bartender was very nice and brought me more bacon when asked. If you're looking for something unique or special, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for a beer and bar food and to watch the game, this could be your jam.

Nice dive bar up by the zoo! It's a very chill spot but has lots of seating (a very cute window spot) and is a great place to go watch sports or to go if you have a bigger group. They have cheap beer but also good draft options. We got a bucket of coors banquet for $16, and you get five of them so pretty killer deal. For sure a no frill place but our bartender was lovely and very attentive! Great spot to stop by if you're in the area or looking for a place to watch sports.

I was with a friend group of six hanging out In Cleveland Park when the beer drinkers decided we should check out Nanny O'Brien's. It looks like a typical neighborhood Irish bar, very unassuming. I try to stick to a basic as possible food order in these types of establishments since I know most people come here for the beer...not the food. So one of my friends and I ordered wings and tots and the others in our group ordered sandwiches. On their menu they boast that their wings are their most " popular" item so why not! Wellll...popular they may be but tasty they are not. They weren't even edible. They were obviously old and refried since they were cold and dry. My friend and I aren't big on returning food in restaurants unless it's absolutely necessary but we had no choice. Our bartender assured us he would have the kitchen make a fresh order. Well they did and they were still dry so neither one of us could eat the new batch either. On a better note, the tots with the addition of Cajun spice were fired nice and crispy. Also I had a nice refreshing Norse IPA. My friends who ordered sandwiches were fine with their food. So I'm glad at least they were satisfied with what they ordered. I would come back here to grab a drink but would eat elsewhere.

Alot of locals go here. One of my best friends lives near here and introduced it to me years ago. Ever since whenever I am in town we usually end up here. They have a few tvs and good bar food. Nice selection of beers as well.

A nice place to grab a bite, an Irish beer, and maybe some whisky. I really enjoy the atmosphere, it definitely feels like the perfect place to get a Guinness. This place is a solid 3.5 out of 5, I feel bad having to give it 3 stars. The food is standard but nothing amazing, I will give a shout out to how crispy their tots are though. Also the servers are always pretty nice. I think for the price, I can get better food. But if you want to come and get a drink on happy hour, do Tuesday trivia, or listen to the occasional music act they have, I would recommend you stop by.

A great place for Tuesday night trivia! The food is very tasty and perfect bar food for a fun trivia night. Come early so that you can get a table!

It's far too expensive. 16 wings, fries, and an orange juice came out to $54. I think it should be less than half that price.

The wings and truffle fries were almost $20 each - the exact same price as all the burgers. They only have canned cocktails and the selection is also very limited. I believe only 3 types of canned cocktails are available. There's a beer and wine menu but I'm not sure how exhaustive it is. Our food also took forever to arrive, long after the show started and we ordered about 20+ minutes before the show started. The seating is inconvenient and narrow, and tables and floors are sticky. I'm only giving it 3 stars because my cheeseburger was good and the patty was thick. I would come back for the comedy show probably but not get food or drinks. You're probably better off just getting soda for the two item minimum. I couldn't take any pictures since our food came late after the show had already started and we weren't allowed to take any pictures during the show.

My interpretation of the gist of what everyone was complaining about was that they used to come here all the time (as did I years ago, but it's been a year since being here) and they didn't like the new, slimmed down menu... and they definitely hated the prices here now. Our service was ok, nothing special. I feel like the majority of the servers are very young and might not have the training, nor experience to understand what true service is, not just taking orders and bringing food. The menu was nice. We liked their "Everyday is Sunday" section of the menu, so we tried 2 orders (4 persons) of the pork chop tomahawk and 1 order (2 persons) of the Côte de Boeuf. We started with their Scotch Egg - WOW! Really flavorful with a great texture, inside and out. Definitely a very nice way to start. Cocktails and wine were a hit here for sure! Especially Jarad's G&T, which we got a couple of. Main dishes were great! Plenty of food too!! The spices on the crust of the porkchop tomahawk were so tasty and the temperature was spot-on! The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. Overall - While this is no longer the Hunter's Head that many came to know, love, and enjoy, I feel they're doing a decent job here. I'll definitely return, as I want to try their fish & chips!

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!
