My husband and I went here for RnB fest. It was well organized and clean inside. I wish they had better food options and not just Costco pizza for $5 a slice yikes. Came for Bingo loco and had the best time! The DJ and the Host definitely brought the energy. Will definitely come back with more friends. A few things to note, seating is on a first come first serve basis, definitely need to get there early if you have a big group. Lucky for my friend and I it was just the two of us and we were able to squeeze in at the end the table with a big party. The only food options were $2 a small bag of chips and pizza. Highlights: *Quick entry into facility *Good strong drink *Poorly managed bar *Disorganized meet and greet process *Rude, aggressive, and unreasonabld security moderating meet and greet line *Sound issues - Durand Bernarr had to sing off-mic multiple times due to sound failure Went here for a Durand Bernarr concert. I bought the tickets and the meet and greet for my partner and I. Coming into the event was fine, there as a long line. They had pizza to purchase. The bar is unmanaged, people cut in line left and right, but no one is managing it, so expect to be in line and have folks literally cut you in line, with no recourse. The situation is asking for some drunk folks to start a fight. Upon entering the facility, security was nice. No mention of any directions for those who purchased the meet and greet. The concert had multiple events in which the sound went out and Durand Bernarr had to awkwardly sing without the mic - I understand this is a cheap facility, but wow. Get your sound together!! After the concert ended, it was unclear how to obtain your meet and greet tickets. After asking about the meet and greet and where to buy them, security said to get in the merchandise lines - there were two lines without any distinction of purpose. Why in the merchandise lines? Why was there no information about which line to be in? In the merchandise line, they had one person working BOTH lines - they were very firm with customers, as people were confused, and some were rude. The person said loudly (but not loudly enough cause it was very loud in there and no one be loud enough to be heard without a microphone), "I AM THE ONLY ONE WORKING THESE LINES. PLEASE PATIENTLY WAIT AND BE NICE, I WILL GET TO YOU ASAP." After standing in line for 25 minutes, the person working both lines FINALLY provided advice which was helpful: "IF YOU BOUGHT THE MEET AND GREET, PLEASE GO TO THE LEFT SIDE LINE. REGULAR MERCHANDISE AND IF YOU ARE BUYING THE MEET AND GREET, GO TO THE RIGHT SIDE LINE." This simple statement would have saved so much time for everyone who already bought the meet and greet. After we received the already bought meet and greet, the overwhelmed worker advised we would be able to keep the meet and greet stickers, commenting on the quality of them. That long line for the bar and being cut in line multiple times, the disorganized merch lines, these weren't the worst parts. The ABSOLUTE WORST parts were being treated like criminals by security in the Meet and Greet line! While waiting in the line, on at least 5 occasions, asked to see our Meet and Greet stickers. They had no short-term memory. They were QUITE aggressive with their disorganized questions. After, they advised we absolutely had to wear the stickers on the outside of our shirts... Huh? Why would I put the sticker on the OUTSIDE of my shirt when I'm about to take a picture with Durand Bernarr? Absurd. I placed that thing in my Robert Graham shirt pocket and ignored the rest of their smooth-brained questions. The pictures security took were terrible, of course, and after the picture, you are rushed out of the facility. Very bad. At least it was great seeing Durand Bernarr - I'll skip this location if I buy the meet and greet cause it is poorly managed. Oh and the drinks were strong. read more

Went to The Rink Studios for the Concrete Boys concert. This was my very first time visiting this venue so I wasn't sure what to expect. Doors opened an hour before the main acts went on. As usual at other venues I've been to, there was a que outside of the venue but it wasn't nearly as long as I am used to. It took us about 15 minutes to get through the que and we scanned in no problem. Security was quick, they only allow clutch-sized bags so they searched those, and you get waved with a metal detector. The staff was efficient and made the process easy and quick. They were also very friendly during the process. The venue itself is a similar size to Harlow's I would say. The sound, stage set, and space for the crowd was great. They have a merch booth next to the entrance, as well as drinks. They had Red Bulls and water. They mentioned that they currently don't have a alcohol permit, so no alcohol is served at this venue. Parking is pretty easy to find. There is lots of street parking along the nearby streets. I would still recommend getting there earlier rather than later. It's not the cleanest area, but nothing that terribly hindered my experience. The venue is also right next to a light rail station so there is an easy option for public transit there. Overall, I enjoyed the concert and had a nice experience here. Well worth the $25 I spent on my ticket! read more

Absolutely SLEPT on spot. I can't believe it took me this long to even find out about it. I admit. My adventures in the Sacramento area have been.. Well, lacking lately. But yooo, glad I got dragged here to shoot some content with my bro. Located on a corner and gives off old movie bar style vibes from the outside but once you step in. It's a total spot for endless event possibilities. Club nights, pop up events, even gala style events. This place is IT!! TVs in the front entrance area that are patched in to the main stage/floor area so you can see all the fun goin on in the main room before you even get in there. Genius anticipation builder. They've got a kitchen, bar area and all. I plan on connecting more with them and getting more eyes on this location. There soo much you can do here. I'll definitely be back to plan some things of my own. read more

Let me just say when I first came to this venue for raves I use to love it been here about 3-4 maybe more times and it use to be so chill so fun but the last couple of raves have been horrible like so bad we can't bring in rolls of sticker , which we did and the security kept saying oh well hold it for you I'll remember your face blah blah blah just pick it up at the end of the night well the end of the night is here and nobody in that venue that worked couldn't find the stickers they were just passing them around between the employees and they just piss me off. Also your crocs have to be in sports mode but again they probably were sexist because my husband and another male had to put crocs in sports mode and I didn't and I was standing right next to my husband wearing the same pink hello kitty crocs when they told him , they also will not let you bring a hydration backpacks which I think is horrible that you can't bring in a hydration backpack it's ridiculous , they have a limit on how many people can go out nobody can bring drinks out with them even tho people purchased them inside not even water , it's been so bad that me nd my group probably won't go here as much anymore , this venue is a bit more tiny than other venues but it use to be so worth it everyone use to love going to this venue but now it has gotten me here to write this review I would like to say my group is probably the main group that keeps Plurr alive at this venue!! The venue was so cramped it felt like a sweaty sauna and if you're under 21, they hit you with a mandatory $5 drink voucher, even if your beverage of choice is air. The staff? Let's just say one of them was less than 5'2 WITH some ATTITUDE and had the eyes of a haunted Hot Topic mannequin and her sweat looked like it melted her smoky eye makeup. My first time attending a performance after party at this location for Larry June from Cesar Chavez Park. If you're skeptical of the location don't be! Right off Arden way (west) only 12 minutes from downtown. I found parking easy and my favorite part was the amount of security in and around the building, the metal wand check on EVERYBODY ! Females included as well as a purse/bag check. I purchased my ticket before arriving so ID check and my mobile ticket made it easy and smooth to get inside. The staff was very friendly, professional and moved quickly and efficiently. The bar setup was cool and they had many drink options. Reasonably priced as well. From my experience here I'd recommend this space for anybody looking for a spacious and safe venue. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the sound and lights are top tier ! Rini Concert - 06/08/2025 Poor and Inappropriate ADA Etiquette from Head Security of Venue night of June 8, 2025 Due to my medical condition makes it difficult to stand for extended period. I left the dance floor and approached the ticket box office inquiring about ADA accommodation. After explaining the accessible need due to my medical condition to the security staff at the ticket box office provided my companion and I blue wristbands permitting us to the ADA area. He proceeded and delegated his colleague who assisted and seated my companion and I in the ADA designated area. After returning from the bar to ADA designated area, I was approached by a Head Security I discovered the end of the night whose name is Tanya. As she approached me, "this is an ADA area" she said rudely. I was confused why she was speaking rudely or accusatorily to a person with a medical condition who is entitled to ADA accommodation. With confusion I replied "Do you see my wristband? Doesn't it mean I am permitted to sit here?" She responded "Oh, I didn't see it. Please don't have an attitude!" She did not bother to inform nor question my companion who sat next adjacent to me. As she walked away; she allowed another concertgoer without 'the bluewristband' to rest next to my companion in the ADA designated area shortly having interaction with me. Great, the power of authority demonstrated an unjust alienation/discrimination in front of witnesses. At this point, I am extremely disturbed by her unprofessional and unacceptable behavior which could have been handled with respect, sensitivity and discretion especially with a person of disability. Even if a person does not have a visible disability, they may still be legally entitled to ADA accommodations. Not all disabilities are visible. Therefore, she cannot question or block someone based on assumptions. What was the purpose of the blue wristband policy implemented? To distinguish between general and ADA concertgoers and provided ADA obligations correct? Because she failed to see the blue wristband on my wrist does not justify being mean or discriminatory toward an ADA customer about using the ADA designated area at concert venue, which can lead serious issue with the potential legal consequences. I would like information to the venue's management directly (email, contact form, or phone) or General Manager/Accessibility Coordinator, if available. Promoter or Event Organizer: If a separate company hosted the event I would like to file a complaint with them as well. read more

Been to many shows at The Rink and it's always a great time, with friendly staff, good vibes and great music. Plus they have probably the best sound system out of any venue of their size. Extremely clear sound and serious bass with a massive wall of subs under the stage that you can really feel. They also do a lot for the local music community and partner with local artists for opportunities to open at bigger shows. Drinks are tasty and their bartenders and other staff really care about making sure people safely enjoy themselves. read more

There was an employee there that was extremely rude, I wish I would have gotten his name. Tall guy looked like he was either Hispanic or Caucasian. I took my 12 year old and her friend there to a concert and I spent a lot of money on the tickets and the experience was just horrible. This was my first and last time attending this venue. We escape the heat, but it was even hotter inside than it was outside. The management had no excuses for the not working. The food was cheap quality but expensive price. I attended a concert here for the first time. The artists I came to see were amazing and the sound was fantastic. However, I was disappointed to learn that I had to stand the entire time. As a woman of a certain age who loves an occasional concert or intimate show, I am not built to stand for 3 hours, especially after having been at work all day. I typically do not attend events during the week, but I couldn't miss this show!! My BFF purchased the tickets online and we took a chance on a week night. I called several times to find out about seating, only to reach a full mailbox and there was nothing on the website that I could find. When we arrived I noticed a few seats on the wall, but security made me get up, because the seats were for ADA and I didn't have the proper wrist band. Then we noticed seats upstairs. Again, no wrist band and no one told us how to get one. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the show fully, because I was in pain. Will I go back? Nope! They need to adjust for the over 50 crowd. Intimate cocktail seating ( like Yoshi's) Would I recommend for a young person?? Yep! If you are mature and your knees and back are strong. Enjoy! Oh and parking is not ideal. read more

Just saw a band we love at Rink....really nice space, good sound, lighting, and video screen behind band super cool. Staff except the guy pouring refreshments was tepid, to be kind.....and tall lady at the front frosty. Maybe smile and have some fun and help your customers out.
