Lava flow: Dark Rum, Strawberry Puree, Lime, Simple Syrup, Mango Nectar, Dole Whip, & Vanilla Bitters

This place was magical! As a big disney fan, I loved the atmosphere and world building with all the detailed decorations. It's right under Stage Nine, so it's very fun to shop around and take in all the disney energy, including the amazing art gallery and memorabilia right before you go into the speakeasy door. As someone who loves fruity drinks and tiki bars, the lava flow I had was honestly mid. The lime definitely overpowered the drink and didn't taste much like the mentioned tropical flavors. I thought it would be similar to the usual smoothie or that the dole whip would make it yummy and creamier. It was mostly ice and separated textures with a couple sips of sour juice. Not worth the $25 with automatic gratuity. I'd opt for another drink.

Had an absolutely incredible experience at Hawthorne's Hideout! This is definitely an experience you want to do at least once if you're a Disney fan and/or movie buff. Our host had the best energy and led us through a spectacular experience. You get two drinks with your purchase as well as the option to order extra food/snacks. We got the egg rolls and they were great! My spouse really enjoyed the cocktails he got and thankfully the bartenders made a special rum and coke drink for me since I have an intolerance to fruity drinks. The ambiance felt like I had stepped into Disneyland and it was a night for the books!

I have to say, Hawthorne's Hideout really blew me away with an experience that's hard to even put into words. It felt less like grabbing a drink and more like being taken on this incredible journey from start to finish. The production quality in there is just wild, and honestly, no picture I took could ever do justice to how it actually feels to be in that space. You can tell they put so much heart into every tiny detail, making the whole vibe feel completely magical and unlike anywhere else I've been lately. The tiki drinks were absolutely wonderful and arrived with the kind of amazing presentation that makes you want to just stare at them for a minute before diving in. We also snacked on some great little bites that were the perfect pairing for the tropical flavors. Everything about the night felt so intentional and polished, yet it still had that warm, enchanting energy that made it feel like a real escape. It was easily one of those standout nights where the atmosphere and the drinks come together to create something truly special.

The bottom line: If you want the magic and adventure of an exclusive Club 33 like Disney experience in the form of a Tiki Room, this is your place. Think Enchanted Tiki Room meets Jungle Cruise and toss in tasty drinks that are themed so well you'll be humming the Raiders March as you enter the secret entrance! This place is so buzzing with fun you'll be very giddy and excited like you're walking down Main Street as you walk down the spiral staircase. Don't waste any more time looking for clues and book your experience now, I can assure you there will be a wait after word spreads quickly because even Walt himself would fancy a 1942 Mai Thai here.

Overall experience was amazing. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was very entertaining from start to finish. Presentation was spot on and the jokes flowed with the dialogue seamlessly. Drinks were delicious and the tiki mugs kept them ice cold the whole time. Didn't order any food so I can't compliment on it. Bar staff were top notch and everyone was very friendly. Made for a great time. Would highly recommend to everyone.

I had been to Bawk before but little did I know about the hidden space behind it. You do need to make reservations, which I did not do. Instead I got on a list until there was a space, close to midnight and way past my bedtime, to discover this hidden gem. Once your reservation time comes up, you are escorted to a booth or bar area and given a menu. We had welcome drinks upon arrival and could choose from a cocktail list. Drinks average about $20 each, so be prepared to spend some cash. You should definitely experience this at least once! Great spot for date night or a fun girls night out.

The space is small and intimate with serious speakeasy vibes that remind me of some of the cocktail bars in San Francisco. The drink presentations are gorgeous, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into both the flavor and how everything looks when it arrives at the table. They have a great selection of gin, rum, champagne, and whiskey, and I often lean on the staff for drink suggestions because they're really good at recommending something you might not normally order. A few times now they've pointed me toward a drink that ended up being a hidden gem. I've been here a few times and it's always a great time whether you're catching up with friends or doing a date night. The food is also surprisingly good and pairs well with the cocktails. It is definitely on the pricier side, but that's part of the experience. Also, because the space is small and intimate, reservations fill up quickly and they do require a deposit, which goes toward your final bill. Helpful tip: make a reservation ahead of time and don't be afraid to ask the staff for drink recommendations -- they're excellent at guiding you to something special. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

It really doesn't feel like any of the speakeasies I have been to before as it was much brighter and more open space but enjoyed it nonetheless. Food/Drinks: I strictly stayed with Espresso Martinis but they were prepared pretty well. The flatbreads also tasted amazing! They also had a list of different holiday themed drinks for those inclined for some holiday cheer. Service: The service here was super quick. The server came to our table so we did not have to head over to the bar. They came a couple of times to check on us but were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the drink options! Definitely worth a check out if you are looking for a friendly public speaker easy.

The other coffee drink that surprised me was the Revolver. I always forget about what a good pairing orange and coffee is, and I'll be taking this one back home with me to try! Every other drink we tried was delicious in some unique way. The Pho drink was savory and surprising, the New York Sour was rich and flavorful, and the Practical Move was refreshing. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well.
