River view was nice, food tasty, service good. Menu seemed limited-- basically all the salads were the same and there was only one option of bread for most sandwiches. The server was accommodating when I requested the buffalo chicken sandwich to be with grilled versus fried chicken. This place was quite a nice respite during our cross country drive. Right on the Colorado River. Space for kids to run around outside. Right next to boat launch so we touched the water and skipped stones. Our server was very friendly. Fare was standard which is why I give four stars. The brownie sundae was so big that 3 adults and 2 kids couldn't finish it! read more

The food was good,but the best thing is the incredible staff! The camaraderie between the waitresses and the kitchen staff was evident. The waitresses were so nice that even if the food wasn't good we would go back because of the staff! Fortunately the food was good as well. We had chicken wings (garlic and teriyaki) fish and chips, shrimp, cheese bread,chicken strips and fries. Standard fare but fried very well. We saw this on Yelp and gave it a try. Cindy and Tom are awesome!!! The food was spot on amazing!!! We had 7 in our group: 3 adults and 4 teens. It's pretty tough to beat a great burger and a frosty mug of beer while looking at the Colorado River flow by. Nothing fancy here - just good food and a great view. The Rte 66 burger and onion rings were very good. Not huge portions, but you won't leave hungry. Easily the best burger place in Needles! read more

On the riv, drive up (and dockside delivery, too). We had a BLT and a patty melt, one w/ fries, one w/ onion rings and mozz sticks to start (the food version of one scotch, one bourbon and one beer). We come here every time we camp on the river in Needles and that is quite a bit. And just about every time I get the spaghetti, OMG it is the best ever. If you go you have to have the Italian sausage sandwich or the Italian meatball sandwich it's to die for. The owner and her staff are very friendly and the service is fast. Oh and you couldn't go anywhere with waterfront dining at these prices they are very reasonable. It I could give it 10 stars I would. read more

Staying in needles at The River Palms Resort....Couldn't decide on a place to eat then remembered seeing The River Front Cafe sign as we were driving in. Best decision to go for dinner, ordered the Fish n Shrimp plate and Fried Fish sandwich for my husband, both come with fries and coleslaw, YUM to both!!!! Found this gem on the way home to Vegas thanks to Yelp! Looking for a relaxing river view and this hit the spot. Stuffed up with Mexican food from my trip to Yuma so I was look for some good old fashion comfort food. I decided on the Philly beef dip, and it was off the charts good. Down a couple of well priced IPA served by very attentive bartender named Brandon , give that man a raise! And it was back to Vegas with my tummy full and my heart content. The wife gave me a call and asked me where I wanted to eat I said you pick the spot and she found this little place on the river that was great. We ordered a pizza with Italian sausage and pepperoni a few beers and had a really good time and Cindy the owner is really nice. What is also nice with having a full bar you can order whatever you want and really make it a really good evening if you don't have to work the next day like I did. We talked with the owner and she said after 4 we could have deliveries and we live in the marina at needles so we can have pizza delivered. read more

Cindy was very personable. The beer was ice cold, the frosty mug was sensational and the produce was crisp and very fresh. The burgers were good, fries were soso and everything was hot & quick. The view was nice. The restrooms are interesting but clean. We hope tom's feeling better and gets all of his tasks done before we make it back for another visit. We stopped in on the way back to San Diego on a 12 day road trip to NM. What a gem. My whole family loved it, great server, great view, and amazing food. For pure oddball charm, you have to try this place. It's located in the back of an RV and trailer park. There's a small patio that overlooks the Colorado River and you can walk down to dip a hand into it. People sometimes can be seen doing tequila shots and dancing on their boats and on the dock. No steaks. Huge draft beers. Friendly staff. Tattooed patrons but rest assured, they are all wearing shirts. It's a great place to get a sense of river culture. read more

Went here and enjoyed the food. However, the woman who worked there said that a super expensive gas station down the street was the cheapest we'd find. She seemed super nice and said she was from the "South" where people were nice, and played the southern belle card. The gas station was selling gas at 3.89 a gallon. We went there but saw some power boats and suped up cars, and decided to roll on. Turns out there was gas in the city for 2.09 a gallon. This was about two years ago. read more
