I called the restaurant and spoke with who I believe was the owner. He offered to make another pupusa, but I politely declined and asked for a refund instead. While he agreed to refund me, his response of "you can see how busy I am in here" came across as dismissive and not very apologetic. I ended up going back in person that same day, showed them the hair, and received my refund. Finding hair in my food twice is disappointing, but what really sealed it for me was how the situation was handled. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

The guacamole was passable, but the salsa that came out with the chips was pretty flat and lacked any real depth of flavor or kick, which isn't a great first impression. The quesadilla was a disappointment too. It came out soggy and tasted pretty bland, not something you'd expect from what should be a simple, satisfying dish. For my main, I went with a burrito and two tacos. The tacos were okay, nothing memorable. The burrito was edible but the refried beans inside were noticeably below par, watery and lacking that rich, savory flavor refried beans should have. It brought the whole dish down. To their credit, the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. No complaints there, our server checked in regularly and kept things moving. The bigger issue is the dining room itself. The ambiance is really in need of a major overhaul. It feels dated and uninviting, which makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience even when the service is pleasant.
