A hidden gem! It is kinda difficult to find REALLY good tacos in the area and I finally found a good spot. I have been telling this place to my friends and I can't wait to come back. I highly recommend getting the lengua, suadero, and cabeza. All the tacos were flavorful and tender. Some tacos had a nice crisp to it. I also got the carne asada but it was dry. The best tacos in the DMV area!! I legit drive from half an hour away for these. I've been getting them for nearly a decade now and it's my go to spot. I love taking my friends here because they're always impressed with how good it is and it quickly becomes their favorite spot too! The customer service is great, if the owner is there he'll chat with you and he's super nice. The area is nice and clean and in the summer they have a tent with chairs so you could eat right there! Disclaimer: the tacos don't come in a heart tray like the photo, my husband bought a tray separately for our anniversary yesterday and arranged them himself. I got dinner for my team recently from Esperanza. It came highly recommended by one of my co-workers. We ordered it for pick-up. I personally got the Carne Asada Quesadilla, 1 pollo taco, and 1 chorizo taco. My favorite was the quesadilla. My team loved it. The prices are more than reasonable. I was a big fan. I had 2 orders ahead of me and once I ordered it was an easy 20 min wait. If you're not in a rush, the tacos are so worth it. Recently went to try the tacos. Ordered over the phone to avoid the wait but unfortunately didn't know the prices online aren't the same as the actual spot. Some of the tacos are a little more because of the meat. A little skimp in the meat but it was ok. Paid a little more for the cabeza tacos that had less meat than the al pastor tacos. Prices are insane. The menu hasn't been updated anywhere so when you go expect the prices for each taco to be 4 dollars as of right now. In total, I spent about 50-55 dollars for 8 tacos a drink and a quesadilla. Nowadays it feels more economical to buy a nice burger with fries & drink for the same price of 4 small tacos. I remember when tacos were the cheap food alternative, now it's apparently a luxury. I can't bash on the taste of the food because the tacos are really good and authentic. However, there's no competition so it makes sense why they set their prices to that and cant forget about inflation. You'd also think because it's a food truck stand it would be cheaper or have reasonable prices. Ragz and I stopped by today after having craved tacos pretty much all week! Ideally, we would have found a way to make a trip to ikea so we could go grab our fav tacos at the Woodbridge floor and decor parking lot, but honestly it was too hot! This is a little hole in the wall taco truck, nestled between a loan spot and a tire place - fitting place for an intro to Mexican food in Manassas :) Rags has his usual chorizo - I can tell he liked them because he quickly devoured 3 of them and then asked for 1 more to go haha! Cilantro and onion come on every taco and the soft corn tortillas, doubled up under the chicken were so delicious too. This truck had an address and photos so it was easy to find. Tacos are $2.50 and the choices were plentiful. All of chose carne asada. They came with cilantro, onions, crisp cucumbers and radishes. The meat was finely chopped and tasty. For you weak in the spicy department stay away from the red sauce, holy hot sauce! I used both the green and red and my mouth was screaming! It was so good! One of us also had the carne asada quesadilla for $7, again lots of choices. The portion was huge and full of meat and cheese and topped with avocado! This food truck is located in between a tire shop and a title loan place. It's easy to miss because of its location but I'm glad we found it. We ordered 2 carne asada tacos and 1 chorizo taco. We also tried the carne asada torta. The tacos were really good and flavorful. My favorite was the carne asada one but the chorizo was really tasty as well. The torta wasn't bad but I just felt like wasn't packed with meat like tortas usually are. I will definitely give it another try though. I tried the Al Pastor, Carnitas & Asada, they were all OK. You only have the option of small corn tortillas for your taco; at $2 bucks, I guess it's an OK price. The quality was just fair.
