I had some friends visiting from out of town so I made a reservation here - we had an amazing view of the sunset! the staff was friendly and the seating area was simple but nice, well decorated, and clean. also, the food and drink presentation was lovely - we got a few dishes to share and everything tasted as good as it looked! this place is a gem to have in Redmond, definitely a great place to hang out with a friend (or a few) for a couple drinks or have a romantic night out. We had great service and our waitress commented that they only have one bartender so drinks may be slower to arrive but we didn't even notice. We didn't order food so can't comment. Nice spot for an afternoon drink and light dinner. Great views. I was a bit too windy this evening so I chose an inside table. Service was great. Love the plants inside You for sure need to make a reservation if you want to sit and have a drink and bite to eat. Overall a lovely place. Indoor seating is limited to tables of two. Outdoor seating is for small groups and has heaters going. My one caveat, the drinks were okay...no offense bartender but they were not to par...according to my taste buds. Sorry. This place is super cute. The boyfriend and I decided to stay at this hotel for a vacation. We went on a really long hike and decided to eat dinner at the rooftop. The rooftop is really small and intimate but really cute and has a lot of open space. Even though it's small the hotel staff is very cautious in terms of seating arrangements since COVID. I would recommend making a reservation to this place since seating capacity is limited. Place gets really hot but it's such a nice space and there are umbrellas to help with the shade. Would highly recommend this place if looking for drinks and light food. read more

As an unaccompanied woman, did not get seating and service the same as couples or groups. Cocktails were outstanding and food was "meh". Would recommend going for cocktails and the view. Really cool location in downtown Redmond on the roof of the Redmond Hotel. Amazing views of the Cascades, Smith Rock and east to the sage steppe high desert. They have umbrellas for warm sunny mid day dining, and warming heaters for cooler evening / sunset viewing. Couches are really low, I think to keep you from the wind, and are a bit awkward to sit in and eat/drink. Sit at the tables for better comfort and views. The cocktails were really awful. We tried all 4 of the low octane options. Yuk. I'm hoping the more traditional cocktails taste better. The food selection is very limited. Lots of vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options. I felt like I was in California when reviewing the menu. Great service, awesome views, clean & COVID19 friendly, and sweet ambiance still earns the 4 stars. read more

This place was beautiful on a recent September evening. We caught the last minutes of the sunset so it was really pretty. We shared the cheese, meat and fruit board. It was amazing!!!!! Amazing foods and drinks with locally sourced ingredients is huge in an area that can offer so much variety. And the staff has done so well to mix all that Central Oregon has to offer into one incredibly relaxing yet uplifting experience. It may sound really cheesey, but seriously, get a reservation for a half hour before sunset. When that high desert sky turns to a pale orange and pink, you can really appreciate the complexdesign and decor that is set to perfectly compliment both the urban and natural environment. What an experience. We came on a Sunday night. The view was stunning! The sunset lit the beautifully designed rooftop in an orange glow. Service was good. Plating was pretty. Food was disappointing. Truffle potatoes were dry and did not taste of truffle. Watermelon salad was DIY. Needed to cut up the watermelon and the blocks of feta to mix it into a salad. Chickpea lettuce wraps looked and tasted like chickpeas straight from a can. We didn't get any drinks. So I'm sure if you went there for drinks and the view you'd have a great time. read more

However, with bars and restaurants having been shut down or with heavy duty guidelines in effect upon reopening you would think that staff may be just a tiny bit more ecstatic, pleasantly happy, a bit more cheery. Defiantly not the case tonight. May have been a long day for our server, maybe much is on his mind and he is a bit overwhelmed, but I was looking forward to a nice evening out, and ended up only wanting to leave so not to be a bother to the server. Stopped in during late summer. This place needs some serious customer service improvements. Hostess was snotty and acted like she was some gatekeeper at a high-end club in LA or NY. The "roof-top" was empty but was apparently "full", therefore, we got to sit in front of the elevator and watch about 1/2 dozen seats on the rooftop sit empty while we had a couple of drinks. If you are brave and defy the snotty hostess, walk outside and sneak a peek at the "view" you will be impressed if you just look a certain direction . . . . however, if you look to your left all you see is a bunch of rooftops with air conditioning units. Drinks were eh, service was blah, food was unmemorable. Not worth your time. read more

Kinda bummed about this place cuz the ambience is super cool. The non alcoholic drinks are almost the same price as the alcoholic ones which isn't cool. The drinks were good tho and unique. We ordered the fondue and the ahi appetizers. The fondue itself was good except what they give you for dipping is kinda lame, BIG chunks of raw veggies that are hard to eat and giant slabs of RAW carrot. The bread that comes with it was about the only thing we could eat. The ahi was colorful and pretty to look at but lacked flavor big time, needed a lemon aïoli or some type of strongly flavored sauce. The prices aren't cheap either which I'm ok with IF the food is good. The kicker was we found a piece of foil in the fondue which sucked cuz i almost ate it but our server saw the whole thing and comped the food which was very nice. Their customer service is really good. If they had not taken the food off I know my husband and I would have been really annoyed to pay $50 for crappy food. Bottom line, I know this place is (kind of) new so I'm hoping they are getting lots of feedback on the dishes. I'm sure we will come back because it's a really cool place but I'm hoping that they tweak the menu! read more
