I barely had any hair to start with, so I'm not sure why she continued to wax the area. So, Between the wax being too hot and her going over the area more than she should've, I was left with burned irritated skin. I called to speak with the manager Polly and she had the receptionist call me back. They said to use aloe, but it was past that point because several days had passed. (I went on vacation after getting the service) I needed to know how I can treat the discoloration!!! No further assistance, refund or anything was offered. I'm extremely disappointed because I've been a regular customer for years. I'm embarrassed to post this photo, but felt it was necessary to bring the point home.

I have visited this Virginia Highlands location once before, but actually thought that I was booking at their Vinings location. Oops! (The team was so nice, they assured me that if I was at the wrong location, they would have worked it out for me) Parking in this neighborhood can feel a little risky as there are 'no parking' signs all over, it's hard to know what to believe. I called ahead just to confirm if I could park on the street without issue during my afternoon visit and was reassured. Spoiler alert: My car was safe in its original spot with no ticket in sight. The vibes at each Sweet Peach are the same, adorable and covered in peaches! Peach rugs, walls in peachy tones, adorable peachy butts, etc etc. Once you walk into a Sweet Peach, you'll never forget how they look lol. Another fun trait of each Sweet Peach? Sex and The City plays on each tv. LOVE. Definitely easy to get through a waxing/sugaring appointment as you see Carrie embarrassing herself once again for Big's attention. The team at this location (and honestly, every locaton) is SO nice. They were patient, incredibly helpful and just sweethearts. Tammy was my wax tech on my last visit and she did an amazing job. Reviews looked good so I scheduled. I don't know how it is for all the waxers but Jody was a MACHINE. She was so fast I think I was in and out in less 10 minutes. Jody was kind and helpful and talked through everything. I thought it was interesting this salon provides a hot towel at the end for you to wipe yourself down with. It was a nice extra touch. My waxing lady, who runs a salon in her home, recently moved about an hour from me and I was in dire need of a wax. Because my lady told me she used to work at this chain, and she's so amazing, I thought that all the ladies would be the same. Absolutely not. I booked a Brazilian (30 min) and inner leg (15min). I should've had 45 minutes total but instead they had me out in 15 minutes battered and bruised. Note: I have never bruised or bled or even yelped in pain in all the 30+ waxes I've received in my life. I have literally been drinking a glass of wine and eating a charcuterie board while getting waxed just fine. This woman just covered large areas with wax and ripped them off to save time and get me out the door. When I was all bruised, she tried to blame it on me shaving. No. It's only been 4 months since my last wax and I only shaved once in between. Ive had waxes in the past after a year of shaving and never had any damage. My skin is not sensitive in the slightest. Stay away from this place. It's honestly the McDonald's of waxing salons. Spend an extra $10 and go to a real aesthetician who takes care of you.
