Small place but very friendly! Our first visit because we go to the same places out of habit! We both ordered the specials Appetizer egg rolls that were fantastic! Non greasy and an explosion of flavor! Next the KFC fried chicken tacos! Wow they did not disappoint! Great food and we will return to try other menu items! Don't miss out this place is awesome!!

Avocado Fries, almost gone before remembering to take a pic. Large portion!

Great blend of flavors. Pork belly had the "melt in your mouth" crispy fat with a tender center. Vegetables on all dishes were cooked perfectly, still enough texture and crunch. Avocado fries were delectably buttery. And service was top notch!

Let me tell you the truth folks! Been coming to these beautiful mountains my whole life and this place is a hidden gemstone. Wait until you tray the cocktails for crying aloud. This guy Dave behind the bar has been watching Tom Cruise in "cocktails" for years. No glitz no glam but hot damn do these cocktails slam! I had the ramenArski for dinner and it was spectacular! Had some congestion before the mail and it cleaned me up nice and tite? The spice was nice! Don't sleep on the avocado fries because boy that was a delicious starter. Try the ROSE it's smarter

The food here is great, and it is very healthy. The cocktails are incredible. This is why you come to a restaurant.. However, our experience with the staff left something to be desired. We made reservations and we were told that the table was still full after a 2.5 hour visit and having closed out. The staff asked us to wait 10 minutes, and only after some prodding did they request the table to close things up. The waiter did not give very clear instructions on what was included with the tacos. He told us that you could get two, one option per taco, but then those who had ordered it received four- one of each option. We did not see our waiter much during the meal so while many of us would have liked a second cocktail we weren't able to put in an order to do so before the bill arrived. All of this can be fixed with training, so I remain optimistic about The Rose and would like to return in the future.

Didn't have any food, so I can't review based on food. Drinks were good and pretty unique. We tried several of the prohibition style drinks. The Pisco Sour was refreshing and light, and Mexican Mistress was good but needed a splash more Mezcal to add more smoke flavor. The food menu seemed pretty unique across the board, and not really sure they vibe/ethnicity they're going for in a restaurant. Would definitely try their food next time to get a better sense. They were all out of deserts when we arrived so we could share deserts and drinks like we had planned. Service was prompt, and the gentleman who waited on us was fun and never made us feel rushed.

With most options that I would dine at in Avon exhausted, it was time to venture out to Edwards. I found The Rose on Yelp and was very excited to check them out. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Riverwalk at Edwards shopping center. At first the restaurant appears inconsiderable, especially with COVID seating limitations; however, there's an adjacent dining area accessed through a brick pathway. It's quite lovely with the exposed brick walls and hanging lights throughout. The staff is outstanding in all aspects that matter, very attentive most of all. We came early enough to take advantage of the happy hour menu (drink only) and a perfect table at the window. We ordered the Mexican Mule and the Whiskey Tingle; the mule was my favorite. The Whiskey Tingle was on the bitter side and the whiskey was indiscernible. From their main menu, we begun with the Beet Salad, which was fantastic. The beets weren't earthy and the citrus vinaigrette and goat cheese were a perfect match. For my main, I ordered the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, which were properly named with the the lamb tender that was obviously slowly cooked. My wife had the Banh Mi Sammy, that was delicious. The meat was a little dry, but the basil aioli, soy and sriracha sauces came to the rescue. The atmosphere, service and the food all came together in perfect harmony, so I can't wait to return and explore the rest of the menu.

Prices were reasonable and service was pretty quick. We enjoyed the piggie smalls (aka pork belly). The Banh Mi Sammy was delicious and my husband said the fried chicken tacos (special) were good too. The Spicy Hibiscus Marg was refreshing and tasty. Definitely stop by.

The Lookout bar is located in The Westin and on the top floor with stunning views. We were first greeted by the host Hal who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I noticed Hal walking through the bar checking on guests and also assisting the servers as needed with drink and food orders. We were seated at the window which had stunning views of the local village and mountain. Our servers John and Augustina were excellent. They never left us waiting for service and continuously checked in on us. We ordered dirty martinis which were served nice and cold. The only negative about the martinis would be the glasses are smaller than what martinis at most other places would be served in so it is simply a smaller serving. However, the wine was a generous pour. For bites, we ordered the Pimento Cheese which was served warm with baguette. So tasty. The beef + blue toasts. This was okay but not our favorite. The burrata salad. Very refreshing and delicious. Since we were not staying at the Weston and had to valet, they were kind enough to validate our ticket. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and experience the beautiful views and delicious drinks and small bites.

I love the rustic cabin decor in the dinning room, very warm and cozy vibe. Our server Brett is great, informative and very patience with us. Soup of the Day was Beef & Vegetable and it was pretty good. On the entrees, we went with the grilled wild game meats. Hubby got the Elk Combo (Elk Chop, Grilled Quail, Jackalope sausage). The chop cooked just right, tasty sausage and the quail was delicious. Not necessarily the most high in food nor is it expected. Which is ok. It Has a cool old school bar steakhouse feel to it. The last 25 years that I have been eating there it definitely has dwindled considerably over the years, but tonight was by far the worst and completely unacceptable. I took my dad out for his 76th birthday and was embarrassed by the lack of quality the food had, when it was brought to their attention they gave pretty much 2 shits. My fathers Grilled chicken was a 6 oz chicken breast cut in half to be paper thin and then grilled, why who knows, I am gonna assume they lost the ticket for a hot minute, he could barely cut the chicken when it did finally cut it legitimately crumbled and had zero seasoning I mean Zero. The burger was again seasoned with incompetence, the fries were or had been re dropped in the fryer at least 3-4 times completely saturated nothing but oil pockets... my wife got the steak bites and you couldn't even chew through it. A 5 year old has more talent cooking than what is being produced out of that place. It was legitimately insulting being fed food of that quality and believing it was acceptable. When it was brought up to them that is it was unacceptable the manager who has been there since the dawn of time "obviously burt out"...Clearly he dose not care what is produced out of there. Started telling me this is how they do it and that buffalo is a lean bland meat bla bla bla, sorry sir but I am not gonna tell you that I know food inside and out. It's what I do... so while you're feel good and confident about blowing smoke up peoples asses about your so called food knowledge and looking like a completely uneducated liar. Maybe just maybe listen to your customers and comp them when a comp is due. Because you and I both know it was trash. I would have rather taken $200 and flushed it down the toilet.......
