Futile outbound call log to The Row Security

I am nearing my breaking point. I didn't mind the previous gentleman tenant upstairs. The occasional late-night laundry sesh, normal walking around, his blinds shutting at night & opening in the morning - all standard apartment living noise. Honestly, it kind of added character. Cozy vibes. But now... Nocturnal Godzilla, a tiny marathon trainer and family have moved in above me. My ceiling rumbles. All day. For hours. At night. While I'm lying in bed doing the modern adult version of counting sheep, I'm instead counting rapid toddler sprints and what I can only assume is a full-grown Bigfoot power-walking laps. Are you both training for an aggressive 20K in-unit daily step challenge? Practicing tap dance for Broadway? Playing indoor fetch with a bowling ball? I'm about to absolutely lose my mind. It's like the ceiling has become a gym floor for aggressive cardio events that never end. And look - go ahead and vacuum if you must... but at 2am?? Really? At that point, at least leave it on continuously so it becomes some kind of white noise situation. But the constant on-and-off? That's not cleaning, that's psychological warfare. At this point, even if this unit were free, I couldn't last much longer. Even my sanity has a price. Paying luxury-apartment rent for it, though? It's like paying extra for the premium sleep-deprivation package. For context: I work at the office 10-12 hours a day all week. I don't need luxury. I don't need silence so profound I can hear my thoughts judge me. I just need basic, legally-advertised "quiet hours" so I can sleep. Crying baby? You can't help it. Okay, I can handle it. Even right now at 2am, I can tell you're bouncing the baby because the cry is all choppy. I just popped a sleeping pill to numb my pain. My new ear plugs & Alexa sleep music can't mask the rumbling ceiling. Is my ceiling made of papier-mâché? That's where we're at now. I can't believe I renewed my lease for this. Attached is my futile truncated call log to apartment security - a documented record of me slowly losing faith in humanity while being told, "The officer doesn't hear footsteps from outside their front door." WTF. I've requested copies of all my call transcripts at this point. Not because I enjoy collecting evidence of my own suffering. This definitely feels like it goes beyond "normal apartment noise" and straight into "what exactly does my lease agreement say about operating a midnight fitness facility above me?" territory. And I'm not even a light sleeper. I used to score 90+ on my Oura sleep tracker before the Olympic Training Facility opened upstairs. Anyway - you have been forewarned, or just go straight for a top-floor unit. Thanks for reading my therapeutic 2am rant.

My experience with the Row has been amazing! I would like to recognize Romy from the leasing department for going above and beyond. I moved in recently and they've been very communicative with the entire process. Even after I moved in, the whole team is great and makes sure everything is taken care of. The place itself is very modern and has great amenities. Especially the fitness center! It's worth scheduling a tour to see it all in person. The row feels safe since it has strict access. So far, it's been a great experience living here.

I'm really conflicted writing this because my boyfriend and I actually like our apartment and the…read moreoverall vibe here, but the amount of misinformation we've dealt with in just 4 months is honestly unacceptable. When we were apartment hunting, a huge selling point was being told that each leaseholder would get 7 guest parking permits a month. It sounded like a decent plus to the nightmare parking situation (virtually no guest spots or street parking in general; $150/month for an extra parking spot with a year-long waitlist). Instead, we found out the leasing agent completely LIED to us--it's actually 7 permits PER household, not PER person. I know we did not mishear this during the leasing process and that we were explicitly told we would receive 21 permits in total for the 3 leaseholders we had for our unit. When I brought this up, management admitted we were lied to, but they didn't even offer a single solution or credit for the $10-per-pass fee we're now stuck with. It feels like they'll say anything just to get a lease signed. The lack of communication between the office and security is just as frustrating. I've been kicked out of the "24-hour" business center TWICE by security because they weren't told the correct hours. I actually had to email a leasing agent myself and show the security guard the email on my phone just so she'd believe me--and even then, she took a photo of it like she still didn't trust me. It shouldn't be the resident's job to train the building's security on their own amenities! On top of that, we've already had to re-sign our entire lease two months after moving in because the office messed up the numbers on the original documents. While the unit itself is modern and I appreciate the gym and the package lockers, the "unseen"parts of living here are exhausting. The fire alarms go off at 3 AM for no reason, the power has flickered out multiple times, and it took around a week to get a working microwave when ours died. I still have 11 months left on my lease, and I'm genuinely worried about what else was a lie or what else will break. I'm mostly upset that they admitted we were lied to by their agent and took no action to make it right with us. If you're looking to move here, I'd suggest getting every single promise in writing, because their verbal word doesn't seem to be honest. I will keep this updated.

If you're considering living at Bloom Apartments, ask detailed questions about the guest parking…read moresituation before signing a lease. In my opinion, it is one of the biggest drawbacks of living here. The building has only one designated guest parking space for approximately every 11 apartments, despite management acknowledging there isn't enough guest parking and that there is virtually no alternative parking nearby. Because the building is secure and there are no surrounding businesses that would attract outside parking, virtually every vehicle parked there belongs to either a resident or a legitimate guest. The reality is that you cannot count on being able to have guests over. The odds of finding an available guest parking space are extremely low, so you can't realistically invite friends or family over expecting they'll have somewhere to park. Some residents have even resorted to parking in the guest spaces themselves just to keep their own assigned space available for an expected visitor later. That tells you how impossible the guest parking situation has become. What makes this even more frustrating is that the property reserves several parking spaces for prospective residents touring the building. Those spaces are often empty, yet if a guest parks in one because the guest parking is full, management will promptly have the vehicle towed--without warning. Retrieving the car can cost around $600, and the towing yard is about 25 minutes away. When I asked what residents are supposed to do when guest parking is full, the only solution offered was to pay for an additional parking space rather than providing a reasonable accommodation for guests. I understand that parking rules are necessary, but designing a building with inadequate guest parking and then relying on expensive towing instead of finding practical solutions creates an unnecessarily stressful experience for residents and their visitors. If having friends or family visit your home is important to you, this is something you should seriously consider before leasing at Bloom Apartments Unfortunately, the Bloom only
