    Chicken Fried Steak

Great food! And the service! The ambiance is unmatched! People should visit. And give them business.

Hand breaded chicken tenders (as good a tender as you can get)

We were traveling through from skiing in Vermont back to Connecticut and stopped because our daughter need to use the restroom and decided to look at the menu of this "diner". It is not what I think of as a diner, because it is a smaller menu that is entirely homemade. We had the hand breaded (twice) chicken tenders which were delicious and as good as I have had anywhere,, along with hot dog, which was very good with split top toasted bun. Our daughter had a cheeseburger (smash burger) which was above average and beer battered onion rings which were crispy (beer battered are often too soggy for me) and as good as onion rings get. There is also an Indian side to this menu which if you had asked me in the parking lot I would have been a solid no, however after seeing that there is truly a chef running this kitchen, I would definitely try next time.

Food was amazing. So glad the original integrity of the diner remains! Will be back for sure! Great value.

There are all the…read morestandard flavors and many unusual ones that make me want to come back so I can try them all. I had a regular size waffle cone and my companion had a regular size sundae. We both thought our ice creams were delicious. There does not appear to be indoor seating. There is a nice seating area on the front lawn, including a covered porch, a fire pit and a koi pond. Additionally, there is a small gift shop, which I did not have a chance to go in, but I will next time. We have added Blueberry Haus to our must do list for the summer.

This place embodies childhood summers for me and it's a mystery to me how no matter when I come here it's absolutely packed full. I love the frog pond with the koi fish and the blueberry bushes. Lots of seating, lots of picnic tables and benches and clear grass. They have a gift shop with some little home things. But this is THE BEST ice cream if you're in the area. The waffle cones and dipped cones are so yummy. Every person I have ever brought here has loved it and asked to go back.

It is my favorite variant of ice cream: super rich, it has a soft and delicate mouth-feel, and it is extremely creamy (hence the name). The Creemee stand (owned by the Boyd family) is my favorite place serving Creemee in the area. They always have vanilla and chocolate (which you can get as a swirl), and Vermont Maple. All three are outstanding, but I like Maple the best. There's just a hint of maple, which adds a hint of a maple/caramel that accentuates the creaminess of the vanilla. Sometimes they also have Black Raspberry, which is also very good. They also serve hard scoop ice cream as well and I'll bet it's really good. I just will never find out because if I'm at the Creemee Stand, you can bet I'll be getting some Creemee.

So we did what we were told and went to the Cremee Stand up the road to where we were staying in downtown Wilmington. It's about three miles out so you can't walk it from downtown at night. I will have to agree with another poster who said there was very little maple flavor. I really felt like I was eating a vanilla soft serve. I mean, I do like a vanilla soft serve but not the thicker consistency I was expecting and definitely didn't taste any maple. It was still a nice after dinner break. Note that they only take CASH.
