Unfortunately we were hoping for a better experience. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I think "Yelpster" respect honest reviews. Although the waitress was friendly, the service was horrible. It took a long time to get our food and then she never came back to see if we needed anything. The food was bland and the "famous truffle fries" were over cooked and tasted like cardboard. We were really excited to try the buffalo burger since we've heard great things about it. The burgers were super juicy and being able to customize your burger was really nice as well. Their appetizer (potato skins) were also full of flavors we loved. read more

A royal pain of a dining experience. This was our third time there. Previously, service was pretty good and food ok. This time was pretty terrible. They have nice outdoor seating ( indoor is hot and dark), but to get an outdoor table it's first come (they don't control the seating), so you have to hover to get the first open table. One of our party waited on the porch to snag the first available table and others went to get drinks at the bar. After getting a patio table, a server came and cleaned the table and promised water and menus. Nothing happened for at least 15 min. or more. Finally we went into the bar and asked for menus and asked for a server to acknowledge us. We were told we're busy be patient. After awhile, a server came and said no one came to our table because we had drinks, and thought it was some other server's table. The server was nice and then tried her best, but it took another 1.5 hrs. until we finally received very mediocre food. It was a very disappointing experience for a pretty hefty bill. Let me first say, the food is excellent. The 1 star is for the service I received Saturday October 12. A friend and I went in the evening to catch the Boise State game and have some brews. I asked the bartender if we could watch the game, he sighed and acted annoyed. He turned the game on, then about 2 minutes later turned it on some sci-fi channel. I'm sorry, but hey buddy the customer is what keeps your doors open. I don't know if he was drunk because he acted like a real "winner". I can't understand why a bartender would rather appease himself over paying customers. Nice job pal. read more

Had the bison burger with caramelized onions and barbecue sauce, it was delicious. We had a very large group and the staff handled our group flawlessly. If I am ever in the area I would definitely go back. The place is okay for kids but there are a lot of people smoking in close vicinity to the patio and entrance which was a negative. read more

We were here several years ago and liked this place. Brand new deck, but even with the extra seats, the service was fast and friendly. The Dodd has been great both times we have been there. Only issue for us was the smokers around the corner on the deck, and we personally don't like people bringing their dogs to restaurants. It is acceptable culture in this area so can't hold that against them. read more

The Wolf is my favorite evening hangout in Driggs. Great food, friendly waitresses and bartenders, a relaxed and fun atmosphere and a clean, warm restaurant! For a bar, you'd expect less. But this bar has a full menu with many very appetizing options. With a party of 10, all of our food came out in a speedy fashion and was fantastic. It was not traditional bar food, although the classic options were there, they had an interesting menu. The decor made a nice setting, while it was very clean. The food and atmosphere were very good. However, we were disappointed with the non-alcoholic drink options. They don't brew their own iced tea and they don't make their own lemonade. They have two kinds of water: one that was in a pitcher and tasted like a cool, fresh mountain spring, and one that came from the bar and tasted fizzy and acidic. I ordered water without ice and the first glass came from the pitcher. I was thirsty, so I downed it right away. It was cool and delicious. The waitress then told me that she'd bring me "a pint" of water without ice, since I was so thirsty. Well, the pint of water was awful. Since she didn't return to our table right away, I went up to the bar and asked for the other water. The bartender and several customers assured me that that's the only water they have. The bartender poured me another glass of warm, fizzy water, which I didn't want. Then the waitress showed up and assured me that all the water is the same. I pointed to the pitchers of water behind the bar and said that the first glass of water came from a pitcher and that I wanted another glass of cool water from the pitcher. The waitress explained that the water from the pitchers was simply water from the bar that had settled. I insisted that I wanted a glass of settled water from the pitcher, but she instead poured me a third glass of warm, fizzy water from the bar! Short of blowing my stack, I had no clue how to get another glass of water from the pitcher. I'll never eat there again because of this. Also, there was no soap in the ladies' room. I notified an employee, but the soap dispenser should have been checked before the dinner hour. read more
