There is a septic service that comes every 2 weeks. We genuinely loved our stay with our beloved dog. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. There is a beautiful beach with gorgeous views of the lake. Use to vacation in Montauk but most things close after Labor Day, once we found this place would never go back to Montauk, just LOVE the quiet and proximity to restaurants. My hostess and host Deb and Wes were happy to attend to my needs -which were few as the cottages are a brief walk from restaurants and a tidy little beach. I was there on my own so I only required a small cottage and stayed in #3 - a small porch with tables and chairs a wicker love seat, all under the eves and inside a very sweet space, comfy Queen bed, dresser with flat screen atop, a kitchen table next to a more than adequate kitchen. The weather was splendid and I had a chance to visit the local wineries ( and there are quite a few) buy my supplies at farm stands and visit other communities all picturesque. I have higher standards than I probably should have but I unstintingly recommend Cottage Cove NoFo. Thanks Deb and Wes, see you on soon (I hope).

If u like kayaking and canoeing and swimming and that's ur number one priority then this is the place for you. We came from Long Island and wanted to just relax. The view is what got us to book. But...... we pulled down Long Pond road and were like wth! It had a lot of run down and closed up homes on the block. The only way i can explain it is it was like gloomy. The pics only showed the back of the home but pulling up we almost turned the car around and drove away. The house looked very run down with overgrown brush almost blocking the home. We paid a cleaning fee and was surprised that the house could Have been a little cleaner at our arrival. The fridge was covered in greasy handprints, there were cobwebs in every doorway the carpet was clearly not vacuumed nor was the floor swept. It smelt so musty and damp We went out and bought air freshener and candles. There were dead bugs in the corners and behind the bed and the bedroom carpet was so dirty i could feel it barefooted. I understand that it's a lake house but vacuum that stuff up before ur guests arrive especially if they are paying for a cleaning service. This house seems like it wasn't in a good area very creepy. And no We didn't co tact the owner about the cleanliness of the house while we were there because didn't want him to come and clean while we were there that would have been too weird. Also there were extremely big strange looking tan spiders with spotted backs that came out at night especially in the bedroom.

They accommodated some last minute travel conflicts and helped me make it to my friend wedding in the nick of time! The rooms are perfectly decorated to feel unique and cozy but not overdone. The floor plan is extremely clever because they utilize a slat wall to separate the bathroom area from the room, with the tv mounted flush. This design eliminates wasted space and creates a circular flow to the room which made it feel much more spacious. The rules were lax, in that they let adults be adults as long as they act like adults. The staff was attentive and the amenities in my room were luxurious and some were even complimentary. It's easy to get to the Main Street in town and central to all the best beaches. Great for instagram photos too! Definitely enjoy a stay here and you won't be disappointed. Special thank you to Angela and Jose for making me feel so at home.
