Just expect good food, fast. Their menu is simple: burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, pop, and milkshakes. The burgers come in either a single, double, or triple stack, with cheese. I got the cheeseburger and hubby got the two on two (double stack) and we were satisfied with the burgers. It was simple, juicy, grilled and good. The whole family loved the fries. Service was pretty fast, we got ours in less than 10 minutes. Dining tables are available inside to eat, and also a few tables outside in the parking lot if you prefer the outdoors. If you are familiar with the movie The Sandlot, they have their pictures all over the walls. Not sure if they are directly affiliated with the movie, but it definitely brings back that nostalgia. I don't know what happened to this place. it was soooo dirty. Everything was filthy. glass doors, tables, counters and the kitchen was so greasy. it was disgusting. I did not end up eating what o ordered out of fear of getting sick. it was also 85 degrees in there so you could never comfortably eat inside. it's horrible. Very sad. read more

I ordered whatever the sign said was a favorite. It was a double cheeseburger, fries, and sandlot sauce. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. It was pretty affordable too at $12.34. The lot and interior of the restaurant made me want to drive off and not order food but I went ahead anyways because of these yelp reviews. I'm easy to please when it comes to carry out especially burgers. My first experience was with a female who seemed to hate her job and it showed from the service I got. My only request was grilled onions and that didn't happen. The only positive about the whole experience was the fries they were actually really good. The burger was a huge let down from an establishment that has good yelp reviews and one would expect excellence in their limited menu. The two employees were Indian and were speaking that the whole time with 0 connection. I got one single lettuce leaf and one single tomato all soggy. The inside has a couple random pictures from the sandlot movie but really the whole vibe is off and not inviting. The place is an ode to the classic movie The Sandlot. I order the TWO N TWO burger and a Chicago style hotdog from a really nice young lady that greeted me at the front counter. The food is made to order so it takes longer than most places which is fine, but that particular day, I was in a rush. It took almost 20 minutes to get my meal. No tap pay is an available so have your card or cash on you. Found out that a lady had a HUGE order that slowed the kitchen down. I received my food and wanted to sit outside, but all the outdoor table hasn't been wiped down in a while. Anyway, I started with the burger which was juicy and all the toppings were fresh. This is a me thing. The cheese really took over the burger and I couldn't really get flavor of the patties. The hot dogs had all the Chicago style toppings and looked delicious but the bun was steamed and was kind of chewy. The fresh cut fries just need more salt. The overall meal was good, not great. The Sandlot is amazing! I had it for lunch today for the first time. It looks like a small hole in the wall lunch joint, but don't pass it up when you see it. I only tried the burgers, but wow were they amazing! They're made fresh to order, the special sauce is also great - I like it on the side but you can get it on your burger as well. Friendly and quick service, and free refills on soft drinks. Definitely worth checking out. read more

The name is appropriate - this is not the major leagues. There's nothing special here. The hot dog was not hot, and if you don't tell them what you want on it, they don't ask and just assume everything, so I had to pick out the tomatoes and sport peppers. I'm also not a fan of twice-cooked fries, which were probably cooking after the hot dog was topped and wrapped. No frills place, reminds me of an In N Out. I ordered the Double Double, er, I mean the Two-N-Two. In my hurry I neglected to order their fresh cut fries. Doh! I wouldn't be surprised if they have a secret menu with Animal Style. Prices are good, staff is friendly. Everything is made to order. The burger was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ground beef. Fiance's chocolate shake was freshly made and tasty too. I'll definitely be back for another burger, and I'll be sure to ask for fries. Walked in excited about this place and drove 40 minutes round trip out of my way to go here. I don't eat carbs so I asked for burger patties. The cashier went back to ask the cook if they could make me just the patties. The chef very clearly said, "I could but I won't". They must of been too busy with the two other customers in there. Been eyeing thus burger place for awhile since it's right near my gym. Came to grab the 4x4 and was excited to see they give the option for raw vs grilled onions. The service was great and everyone was very nice. The anbiance of the store was casual and okay but I cared less for that since I was getting to go. The burger was definitely meaty and delicious. Food is good not to bad, service is nice. But I will say I was so surprised when i opened my drink and found a bunch of ants in my drink! I'm just so confused how the cashier didn't see the ants in my cup as she was filling the drink. A small mistake can go a long way. There's nothing wrong with the food or service but they should definitely take the extra mile and really clean their restaurant to avoid problems like this. Looking at the reviews, we had high hopes. Almost left when the young lady was extremely rude while taking our order. My husband asked if they had pizza puffs and she said (with a sneer) "What?!" He ordered the two-on-two and she asked if he wanted grilled or raw onions. He didn't hear her and I repeated what she said. She obviously was not happy to be there and did not realize that being nice to your customers is a must in the F&B industry. I ordered the chicken sandwich with an order of fries. As you can tell by the pictures, their chicken needs to be cooked a few minutes longer and the burgers need to be cooked a few minutes less. Excellent food. So good. We did pay a pretty penny but we got three meals with awesome sauce milkshakes so totally worth it. Tried out Sandlot for the first time and it was worth the hype! We got a veggie cheeseburger with their signature sauce and fries! The sauce was SO good! I highly recommend ordering it next time you go. The fries were very fresh and crispy! I didn't love the ice cream sundae but my friend orders an ice cream shake which was good. Bare bones on the decor, but it kept clean and well maintained. "You're killing me Smalls," the fries were better than the burger. And the burgers were very thin patties even doubled up. I ate 2 doubles easy. Try to place an order, but the woman answering the phone had such a language barrier that it was impossible to do. Even after being put on hold, I was patient and wanted to order a basic meal of a cheeseburger fries and a drink, but it almost seemed as if she was clueless. Have to say the burger and fries were good but the place is filthy. I almost turned around and walked out. How hard is it to clean the door glass, garbage bins... The guy took my order then walked back into the kitchen area in plain sight he proceeded to blow his nose then went right back to what was more important on his phone. I was not sure what to expect until I got there. The place has a small lot in back to park and it's got a small eating area. When we got there there was some local kids ordering after their baseball game. And they took up a lot of the place. So we decided to take food to go. Guy behind the counter was super nice and we had a laugh while waiting. For my food to arrive. It took a bit, bc of the kids, but it was fine. The special sauce is a must when u go! Mehh I was hongry and it was close to da doctas office so I dropped in & ordered a double cheeseboiger wit bacon (Dey only have American cheese) to me a boiger is betta wit chedda. Dis boiger also cam w/grilled onions, tomato, lettuce & condiments. They also have a triple & quadruple cheeseboiger (a little overkill). The cashier told me someone ordered 10 burgers (a lot of overkill). I stand by my original review of 3 stars somewhere in the middle of the pack.
