The lot and interior of the restaurant made me want to drive off and not order food but I went ahead anyways because of these yelp reviews. I'm easy to please when it comes to carry out especially burgers. My first experience was with a female who seemed to hate her job and it showed from the service I got. My only request was grilled onions and that didn't happen. The only positive about the whole experience was the fries they were actually really good. The burger was a huge let down from an establishment that has good yelp reviews and one would expect excellence in their limited menu. The two employees were Indian and were speaking that the whole time with 0 connection. I got one single lettuce leaf and one single tomato all soggy. The inside has a couple random pictures from the sandlot movie but really the whole vibe is off and not inviting. It's almost as if this restaurant started out awesome and was doing well and then was bought out and the service crashed.

The place is an ode to the classic movie The Sandlot. I order the TWO N TWO burger and a Chicago style hotdog from a really nice young lady that greeted me at the front counter. The food is made to order so it takes longer than most places which is fine, but that particular day, I was in a rush. It took almost 20 minutes to get my meal. No tap pay is an available so have your card or cash on you. Found out that a lady had a HUGE order that slowed the kitchen down. I received my food and wanted to sit outside, but all the outdoor table hasn't been wiped down in a while. Anyway, I started with the burger which was juicy and all the toppings were fresh. This is a me thing. The cheese really took over the burger and I couldn't really get flavor of the patties. The hot dogs had all the Chicago style toppings and looked delicious but the bun was steamed and was kind of chewy. The fresh cut fries just need more salt. The overall meal was good, not great. I would definitely get a double without cheese next time.

The Sandlot is amazing! I had it for lunch today for the first time. It looks like a small hole in the wall lunch joint, but don't pass it up when you see it. I only tried the burgers, but wow were they amazing! They're made fresh to order, the special sauce is also great - I like it on the side but you can get it on your burger as well. Friendly and quick service, and free refills on soft drinks. Definitely worth checking out.

1st impressions is the place is a slum lol buts actually very clean inside. Prices were more than listed online, but not by much. Place is freezing fyi (they're not fans of putting on the heat so wear your coat. Fries were super fresh and good! Double burger and hot dog was decent but had better. Service was polite tho which is nice

No frills place, reminds me of an In N Out. I ordered the Double Double, er, I mean the Two-N-Two. In my hurry I neglected to order their fresh cut fries. Doh! I wouldn't be surprised if they have a secret menu with Animal Style. Prices are good, staff is friendly. Everything is made to order. The burger was delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh ground beef. Fiance's chocolate shake was freshly made and tasty too. I'll definitely be back for another burger, and I'll be sure to ask for fries. SECOND VISIT: Fantastic burger, fries were okay but slightly undercooked. I don't like floppy fries. Three stars for the fries, five for everything else.

Been eyeing thus burger place for awhile since it's right near my gym. Came to grab the 4x4 and was excited to see they give the option for raw vs grilled onions. The service was great and everyone was very nice. The anbiance of the store was casual and okay but I cared less for that since I was getting to go. The burger was definitely meaty and delicious. I wish it had some options for more kick/sauce options but otherwise was perfect. Definitely glad to find a nearby burger spot for those craving days!

I got a bacon, bacon sandwich, fresh cut fries, and one Chicago classic hotdog, I would 10/10 recommend the sandwich but I not the hotdog, I didnt like it

    Drink with ants

Food is good not to bad, service is nice. But I will say I was so surprised when i opened my drink and found a bunch of ants in my drink! I'm just so confused how the cashier didn't see the ants in my cup as she was filling the drink. A small mistake can go a long way. There's nothing wrong with the food or service but they should definitely take the extra mile and really clean their restaurant to avoid problems like this. I'm so upset that this happened because my burger was so good!

It came as a great recommendation! We didn't have it for a while since we live the low-carb life but were thrilled to learn they do a "sub in a tub". I love their tuna salad/sub. Their bread is soft, back when I could eat it. They don't overfill it with mayo either and add some mild peppers or hot on request. I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! For $8, or $11 for a generous tuna scoop, you can't beat it. Staff is also quick and friendly at the deli, as well as checkout. You can find all kinds of things for the house or to gift someone whether it's food, a cookie jar, something imported from Italy, or a homemade meal. You'll find something for everyone.

I ordered The Brando (their Italian sandwich) and it was fantastic. The Calabrian chili aioli completely made the sandwich, I'd never had it before and now I'm officially a fan. The place itself has a cool old school Italian deli feel with plaid tablecloths, and the staff told me they just opened in June 2025. I grabbed mine to go since I was working the convention center, but it looked like a cozy spot to sit down too. It's a little hidden, but totally worth seeking out. Maybe because it already receives so much positive attention, it hardly needs my two cents. But after this latest visit, I decided to "pile on" with my love for this place. First, I must alert you to pay attention to their hours, because they are closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I kicked myself at least once, when I made the 40 minutes drive from home, just to find that I forgot that they were closed that day. This store is a double threat - offering a great take home Italian deli with a plethora of fresh and frozen items for you to prepare at home. This is also a great spot for lunch, with legendary sub sandwiches, and an array of hot dishes to choose from. I often do both. On this visit, from the deli, I picked up some of their marvelous, thinly sliced breaded eggplant, which I always get when I'm there. I bring some to my ex-wife and daughter who love it as well. Just give it a quick cook in the oven, and it's delicious. I also got some of their marvelous breaded potato salad, which is old-fashioned homemade style. From the hot bar, I got a couple of Italian sausage and some meatballs. I buy these ready to eat, but take them home to use for dinners later. That way I don't have to cook them. Obviously, they offer both meatballs and Italian sausage in fresh or frozen as well, which I get when I'm preparing my mom's spaghetti recipe. This time, I decided to try a quart of their frozen Nottoli homemade marinara, which I hadn't tried before. So delicious! I had pasta and spaghetti with sausage that night, and pasta and meatballs the next. On my various trips here, besides the Italian sausage that they are famous for, as well as the meatballs, I like their olives and other salad items, the sandwiches, brocciole, and many other hot Italian dishes for lunch. The rigatoni w/vodka sauce is a killer. Finally, the people have always been wonderful , which is very important to me. Despite being busy, it is well organized and you're in and out of there in no time (or you can sit at the table inside if you want to eat in). The prices are extremely reasonable, and I'm always pleased about the value I get for such a good price. I apologize for no pictures on this review. I always just seem to be focused on my own mouth watering choices, as opposed to a Yelp review when I come here.
