If you come here because it's the longest happy hour in town 4-8, get ready to be staring out an empty glass for at least 3/4th of that... absolute abysmal service during the happy hour, only checked on 1 time to put in my initial order... Greeting (Edele ) She sat us and was a great waitress. Food - 3 Baja Fish Tacos - Spicy Rigatoni - Brownie - shrimp cocktail (not mine) but it was all gone - Bacon, Brunch burger not mine. It looks good. we sat outside I don't mind. It was a cool night no mosquitoes. everything was good so is the mood. I can return here. Nothing was wrong with the rigatoni at all, but if it came in another type of pasta, like Angel hair linguine, or shells with that same sauce, but it was very heavy. Great place to eat. We stopped by for brunch, and tried a few dishes. They have plenty of outdoor seating, but inside is just as great. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and decent wait time between sit down and leave (roughly just over an hour). My recommendation: Try the pineapple chili wings and the double cut French toast. Both were absolutely amazing and delicious. The wings were saucy, just sweet enough with a little zing of heat. The French toast was fluffy and had an amazing tiramisu flavor. I would go back and order those two dishes without question. We also had the peach flavored carafe of mimosa and it was good. Definitely more champagne forward than juice and we enjoyed it. It will easily provide at least 4-6 total glasses full. The chicken and waffles though, left a lot to be desired. It was more of a thin chicken cutlet on a (good) fluffy waffle. The ratio wasn't there, not much flavor, and it definitely needs some help. It would've been great to see it be a bigger piece of chicken, waffle, and maybe seasoned it with the hot honey or hot sauce. Just something to give it a boost. Service was working hard they could use more wait staff. There are plenty of very attentive busboys but our waiter was hard to find. Wasn't even that crowded. Food was lackluster. Ordered a steak salad was blah try something else. My friend's hamburger was good. Fries were good. Bloody mary terrible. Espresso Martini was good. I would not return again for food. I pass this restaurant everyday - today I decided to stop and check it out. They open at 4pm and are closed on Monday and Tuesday. I ordered the pizza, bbq wings and french fries which is a great combination together. I have yet to see a restaurant in Stamford mess up pizza. The pizza was on point, cheesy with soft chewy crust. The wings had a lot of bbq sauce on it and it wasn't too sweet just a good kind of messy. The fries was a crispy skinny shoestring that was not over cooked. I was extremely happy with my choices. The drinks - I started with a French Martini. I hesitated to order that but I said why not. It was actually pretty good, a perfect blend. Then I had to try the sangria and I can say it was an excellent choice. This was real sangria with the right ingredients. The staff was extremely busy running back and forward but did an excellent job keeping up with the demands of the customers. The restaurant opened at 4pm by 5pm it was packed. We had heard many good things about Joey Pizza and finally decided to try it. Upon arriving, we were astonished at how beautiful the decor of the place was. We were promptly greeted and seated by the host. The customer service was great. The servers were attentive and super nice. That was honestly the highlight of the stay! After placing our order, we patiently waited for 10 minutes. We decided to try the truffle Mac and cheese. It was alright, but it seemed like it was missing a little something. The flavor was a bit plain. Later on, we had the Joey pizza, and it was fantastic! A decent size and the pricing was reasonable. All in all, it was a pleasant visit. Rates: up to 1/2 hr $2.00, up to 1 hr $3.00, up to 2 hr $5.00, All day $10.00 I had the CLASSIC MORNING BREAKFAST* scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast. Hudson has a little bit for everyone. We try to stop whenever we are in town. Their happy hour goes later than all places on Bedford (7pm) and has things you won't find other places like oysters, mussels, and vegetarians options. Tables fill up quickly most nights for dinner and the bar stays busy late into the night esp on the weekends. Service is on point and the Manager, Miguel, is always available if an issue arises. Wish they were open on Monday's and Tuesday's but maybe in the summer. read more

Drinks were priced well - happy hour wine was $5/glass (that's what I got). The atmosphere and service is great. After 20 minutes of her walking past me, serving people who came after me, and serving a WM who walked up next to me, I LEFT and my friends and I won'tcome back. Love coming here for tapas and drinks - everything is always so delicious. My favorites are the shishito peppers and croquettes. Also recommend the fried polenta caprese but would skip the gnocchi the next time I go. Be sure to check their hours before going, they are closed some weekdays. read more

We ordered the burrata pizza to share amongst 3 of us and it was the perfect size for an appetizer. It was the perfect combo of cheesy, salty and chewy. We also got the blood orange mimosa carafe which held about 6 glasses. I also ordered the French Toast Napoleon while delicious was not what I had expected. I had expected it to be more stacked and did not expect to have it be a cinnamon raisin bread based on the menu. Additional information needed to better describe this and other items on their menu. My one complaint is that it was quite loud due to a large party in the middle of the restaurant and it felt as if the sound was bouncing off the walls and reverberating louder than reality. This place is great !! I had $1 oysters for happy hour. Normally that would make me a little nervous but they were fresh mild and awesome. Truffle Mac and cheese was so ! Terrible service. Argumentative and aggressive server. Double charged for unlimited mimosa just for trying some that my partner ordered. Didnt even inform us of the double charge. Got the second charge off the bill (kudos to the manager for being logical and understanding), but ended up paying for extra glass of mimosa because server kept accusing us of "making the resto lose money." I just paid for an extra glass for a few sips so that resto does not lose money as the server claims. but no tip for the server throwing check on the table aggressively. Rude af. Worst stamford experience. Just find yourself another restaurant from a plenty of better options around. Or dont eat at all. Never returning. Food not that good and overpriced anyways. No wonder place has crappy review. They need to replace this rude server and things may go better for the business. read more

Not sure if their lobster roll is still on the menu but I typically hate cold lobster and they make the best cold one I've ever had! They use a chipotle mayo instead of regular and it's sooo good!!
