    FRENCH TOAST
    Alex M.

Great place to eat. We stopped by for brunch, and tried a few dishes. They have plenty of outdoor seating, but inside is just as great. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and decent wait time between sit down and leave (roughly just over an hour). My recommendation: Try the pineapple chili wings and the double cut French toast. Both were absolutely amazing and delicious. The wings were saucy, just sweet enough with a little zing of heat. The French toast was fluffy and had an amazing tiramisu flavor. I would go back and order those two dishes without question. We also had the peach flavored carafe of mimosa and it was good. Definitely more champagne forward than juice and we enjoyed it. It will easily provide at least 4-6 total glasses full. The chicken and waffles though, left a lot to be desired. It was more of a thin chicken cutlet on a (good) fluffy waffle. The ratio wasn't there, not much flavor, and it definitely needs some help. It would've been great to see it be a bigger piece of chicken, waffle, and maybe seasoned it with the hot honey or hot sauce. Just something to give it a boost. Overall, it was a nice visit and I'd go back and try other things.

Stopped in on our way home on 95. Great food and atmosphere! Our server was excellent, along with the rest of the staff. Grilled chicken sandwich was perfect :) Excellent place for an outdoor meal!

Was sat instantly w hostess checked out menus and waited for like 5 mins Hostess walked by and asked if there is a server for our table she said give me a sec and about 30 seconds later this young man showed up he apologized but looks like he is the only server there. We ordered happy hour stuff I proceeded to get coconut shrimp and 6 shucked oysters all so good Patty got a side salad and veggie pizza She loved it Place is pretty good busy Fri night Thanks place is pretty good

I pass this restaurant everyday - today I decided to stop and check it out. They open at 4pm and are closed on Monday and Tuesday. I ordered the pizza, bbq wings and french fries which is a great combination together. I have yet to see a restaurant in Stamford mess up pizza. The pizza was on point, cheesy with soft chewy crust. The wings had a lot of bbq sauce on it and it wasn't too sweet just a good kind of messy. The fries was a crispy skinny shoestring that was not over cooked. I was extremely happy with my choices. The drinks - I started with a French Martini. I hesitated to order that but I said why not. It was actually pretty good, a perfect blend. Then I had to try the sangria and I can say it was an excellent choice. This was real sangria with the right ingredients. The staff was extremely busy running back and forward but did an excellent job keeping up with the demands of the customers. The restaurant opened at 4pm by 5pm it was packed. The restaurant was clean and the restroom was immaculate.

Came here for a dinner with my family from CT! Had a great time we came with a large party of 14. The service was great. The place is kid friendly with a very good kid menu. The food was standard pub food it was good for the price point! Margarita was quite tasty!

We had heard many good things about Joey Pizza and finally decided to try it. Upon arriving, we were astonished at how beautiful the decor of the place was. We were promptly greeted and seated by the host. The customer service was great. The servers were attentive and super nice. That was honestly the highlight of the stay! After placing our order, we patiently waited for 10 minutes. We decided to try the truffle Mac and cheese. It was alright, but it seemed like it was missing a little something. The flavor was a bit plain. Later on, we had the Joey pizza, and it was fantastic! A decent size and the pricing was reasonable. All in all, it was a pleasant visit. We will certainly return to explore more items on their menu.

Came here for brunch with family. The service was great and it was empty when we came in which was good. There is also a parking lot behind the restaurant. Rates: up to 1/2 hr $2.00, up to 1 hr $3.00, up to 2 hr $5.00, All day $10.00 I had the CLASSIC MORNING BREAKFAST* scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast. We also had SMOKED SALMON BREAKFAST* eggs, toast, crushed avocado, mixed greens, hash browns. It looked good though. But it just tasted okay, even the orange juice didn't taste good. Prices were not horrible, might come back and try a different food option.

Good food, drinks, and vibes at! Everything we tried was incredible. I loved their pasta and pizza the most. The pasta had a little bit of a kick and the pizza crust was perfect. The appetizers were all amazing too! Definitely recommend checking this place out with some friends!

Was looking forward to happy hour here but it was pretty typical. The food wasn't anything better than good. In general, the food was all a bit dry. Drinks were priced well - happy hour wine was $5/glass (that's what I got). The atmosphere and service is great. I would come back for drinks and to catch a game in tv but I probably wouldn't eat here again.

Bar tender who thought my money wasn't good enough. That's ok, I'll spend it elsewhere.

If you are black or a POC do NOT spend your money here; long story short I waited at the bar to order some drinks, it was busy but this WW bartender 's message was eventually received loud and clear. After 20 minutes of her walking past me, serving people who came after me, and serving a WM who walked up next to me, I LEFT and my friends and I won'tcome back. So, terrible terrible service and I'm posting the picture of her so if you see her at the bar DON'T tip her...but really don't give this place any of your money.

My…read moreserver was very polite and the free parking lot in back was easy but it was not my favorite diner experience of the year. Inside is fairly small but the tables are large and can host groups up to six per table. They do have a giant menu filled with all sorts of options, some of them are pretty crazy, especially the influencer section of the menu. I started off with a cup of the chili and wasn't a huge fan of it. It tasted more like the Cincinnati chili and had a large amount of oil. For my entrée, I chose the cheesesteak and was hoping it was going to be like a traditional Philly style, but it wasn't quite. I liked it more than the chili but still made me wish that I ordered a tuna melt or something else. I would give it a try again on a future visit but would want to try it again before I recommend.

Today was the first time we've eaten here in years. We were seated immediately but we waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We watched people leave because they could not wait for their food any longer. At first, I thought a chef must have called out. When our food finally came, I was forced to look at the most unappealing home fries that were molded to the plastic container they were stored in. At least try to make them look fresh bru. And the whole restaurant was cold. I was cold. The food was cold. This place should be called COLD Street Diner, am I right? And the coffee refill came like once. In the whole hour and a half we were there. The only times someone would walk by was to clear a table, or that guy idk who he is idk if he's the owner but he was wearing balenciaga sweatpants and then he would just go stand by the register to sip on some wine. My mother ordered the huevos rancheros and they were bland asl. I ordered the birria omelette and it was BLAND EVERYTHING WAS BLAND!!! The birria was just wet it didn't taste like anything bro. We haven't been to the Norwalk location but a lady sitting next to us noticed that we weren't happy with our food and she was speculating that all the good cooks got transferred there. Whether it's the cooks to blame, or the fact that it's a busy Saturday, it's safe to say we will not be coming back.

The poké is a generous portion, so do yourself a favor and ask for more wonton chips. There's a small charge of $1. Well worth more chips to scoop the rest of the tuna, avocado, and cucumber marinated in teriyaki. We paired the starters with two peach bellinis and later tried a festive green mimosa created just for the Stamford St. Patrick's Day parade. The main event was a classic eggs Benedict done right--perfectly poached eggs over a thick, smoky slice of Canadian bacon, served with roasted potatoes drizzled with chipotle mayo, plus just a little fresh fruit on the side. Street parking can be a little challenging in the area because of the nearby offices and residential high-rises. However, there's a free underground parking garage literally around the corner from the restaurant, which makes things much easier. Parking ended up not being an issue at all.
