Decent place to eat from, nothing super special here. Price aren't bad, they have a big menu of items they offer. A lot of the items here are a little on the blander side though and they have made some small mistakes when ordering and delivering my orders before. But you know what you are getting into every time you eat from here it's consistent. Also, like a reviewer mentioned they have grits which I'm excited about. You have no idea how hard it is to find a diner / restaurant that serves grits in the area. They also have turkey sausages another had to find diner item in the area. I do love their homemade donuts too, those are real good.

In town for a court visit which is just a block away from this classic diner in a small strip mall. Plenty of parking in the back too. I enjoyed quick service, hot coffee, tasty food and cheerful service. No frills here, just a classic old time diner. Will repeat.

It's just a short drop for a young paratrooper 173rd Airborne Infantry Recon. Trying the shortcut to Bedford Diner.

Super friendly, really great food. Can be crowded during certain hours, like lunch. Worth the time and effort. Ample Parking in rear of Diner

This is a really good family friendly diner! I came here for brunch and was not disappointed. I got the Bedford Street special which came with all the fixings...bacon, eggs, hash browns....you don't think it is filling but one you are eating, you see how filling it is! I was with a group of 4 people and 3 of us got the bedford street special....that's how good it is! The staff is friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking in the back. The prices are great and the options are endless. Will definitely be coming back!

Visiting the area from Los Angeles for business so I really wanted a diner for a dinner option. My…read moreserver was very polite and the free parking lot in back was easy but it was not my favorite diner experience of the year. Inside is fairly small but the tables are large and can host groups up to six per table. They do have a giant menu filled with all sorts of options, some of them are pretty crazy, especially the influencer section of the menu. I started off with a cup of the chili and wasn't a huge fan of it. It tasted more like the Cincinnati chili and had a large amount of oil. For my entrée, I chose the cheesesteak and was hoping it was going to be like a traditional Philly style, but it wasn't quite. I liked it more than the chili but still made me wish that I ordered a tuna melt or something else. I would give it a try again on a future visit but would want to try it again before I recommend.

Today was the first time we've eaten here in years. We were seated immediately but we waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We watched people leave because they could not wait for their food any longer. At first, I thought a chef must have called out. When our food finally came, I was forced to look at the most unappealing home fries that were molded to the plastic container they were stored in. At least try to make them look fresh bru. And the whole restaurant was cold. I was cold. The food was cold. This place should be called COLD Street Diner, am I right? And the coffee refill came like once. In the whole hour and a half we were there. The only times someone would walk by was to clear a table, or that guy idk who he is idk if he's the owner but he was wearing balenciaga sweatpants and then he would just go stand by the register to sip on some wine. My mother ordered the huevos rancheros and they were bland asl. I ordered the birria omelette and it was BLAND EVERYTHING WAS BLAND!!! The birria was just wet it didn't taste like anything bro. We haven't been to the Norwalk location but a lady sitting next to us noticed that we weren't happy with our food and she was speculating that all the good cooks got transferred there. Whether it's the cooks to blame, or the fact that it's a busy Saturday, it's safe to say we will not be coming back.

I've practically lived at the Stamford Diner over the years, even spending entire work weeks…read moreworking remotely from here (pro tip: the free Wi-Fi is actually reliable and they have plenty of seating so you don't feel like you're overstaying your welcome). Location-wise, it's incredibly convenient--right off Exit 6 on I-95--and unlike most places around here, they have a massive private parking lot so finding a spot is never an issue. Inside, it's huge, but it still manages to keep that classic diner warmth. They also have a full-service bar with TVs if you just want to grab a drink and catch a game. At this point, I've tried practically every entree on the menu, and honestly, the food and service never miss. There's a reason this place was featured on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. A few personal standouts after coming here so often: * Breakfast & Soups: You can order breakfast all day, but do not overlook their housemade soups. We almost always grab a quart of the Chicken Noodle or the Chicken Matzoh Ball to go. * Salads: If you want greens, the signature salads are excellent. If you don't want meat, get the Arthur Avenue Salad (the fried eggplant and fresh mozz combo is perfect). If you want chicken, go for the Crispy Chicken Paillard or the Balsamic Chicken with mandarin oranges and crispy noodles. * Mains: If you love red meat, the ribs are so tender they literally fall off the bone. The Mediterranean dishes are also a major highlight--especially the Greek Gyro. And if you're craving seafood, the Seafood Fra Diavolo (shrimp, scallops, mussels, and calamari over linguini) has a fantastic spicy kick. As great as the food is, it's really the people that keep regulars coming back. The staff is incredible. Getting to know Laura and Ari has been the best part of eating here. They treat you like family the second you walk through the door. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite off the highway or looking for a regular neighborhood spot, you can't beat this place. Pro-Tip: When you're ordering take-out from here, do yourself a favor and use the Slice app. I stopped using the major delivery apps because their 20-30% commission fees just bloat the final bill for everyone. Slice is entirely dedicated to supporting local, independent spots instead of massive corporate chains, so the restaurant doesn't get hammered on margins and you aren't paying inflated prices. Plus, it's super easy to customize your order right through the app.

When I walked in, the place was packed--which I initially took as a good sign. Busy usually means good food and good service. I was seated at a small two-top in the back blocking the counter seating, which was already tight for a meeting with paperwork. As the lunch crowd began to clear out, the table next to me opened up. I started to move my materials to give us a bit more space for the meeting. At that point, a waitress approached me in a very abrupt and unpleasant tone and said, "Where do you think you're going?" I explained that the table had just become available and that I needed the space for a business meeting. She immediately shut me down, saying, "No, you're not. That's a four-person table and you're only two." It was around 2:00 p.m., the restaurant was already emptying out, and they close at 3:00 p.m., so the response felt unnecessary and frankly rude. I told her she didn't need to be so nasty--I had no idea there were strict rules about not moving to an empty table in a nearly empty restaurant. I stayed where I was because the only other available tables were even more cramped for 2 people, and at least I had space to set my pocketbook and paperwork on a stool next to me instead of the floor. Unfortunately, the experience got worse. When my client arrived, 215pm, we were largely ignored for service even though the restaurant was nearly empty at that point. Food was basic. My takeaway: unless you enjoy being packed into tight seating, dealing with extremely unprofessional and unfriendly staff, struggling to get service, I would not recommend this place. Hospitality and courtesy go a long way, and sadly both were missing here. And one final thought: in the service industry, you never know who your customers are or what opportunities kindness might bring. Do better! 65+ MILLION FOLLOWERS on the internet!

They were in a heavy book (reminded me of a high school yearbook) with six pages of choices plus an insert of daily specials. Post Road is the kind of diner that diner lovers dream of. Their menu is an embarrassment of riches and would seamlessly fit in alongside anything you would find on the Sunrise Highway on Long Island or on Route 17 in New Jersey. Three of us walked in around 11:30am today, and our first order of business was deciding if we'd go for lunch or breakfast food. We all went for breakfast plates- pancakes ($9.99) with a side of scrambled eggs ($2.99), GF Pancakes ($12.98), and for me a "Protein Breakfast" ($13.99) and a coffee ($3.49). So, I'm sure you're asking, "what on earth is a protein breakfast?' Well, it was four egg whites, a few gorgeous tomato slices, and a nice piece of grilled chicken. It was pretty filling and everything tasted great. Our server was efficient and professional and swiftly brought over a "to go" box for the excess of those enormous pancakes. The dining room is awesome, a real throwback to the 1950's with plenty of old-time booths, art deco neon signs, checkerboard ceramic tile, and music\entertainment\pop culture images everywhere. We really enjoyed our visit !
