During our consultation, we discussed my part direction, hair texture, and how short I was comfortable going with my hair. In addition to the expected "dry cut",, a technique was used that felt like the scissors were sliding or "shaving" down my curls. Unfortunately, it left my whole head of hair feeling damaged, rather than soft. My part was also changed from how I normally wear it, which altered the shape of the cut. Additionally, even though I had booked a blow-dry online, the stylist concluded the appointment with no blow dry. (I did not pay for it ) Because curly hair has so much natural shrinkage, it wasn't until I got home and dried it myself that I realized just how short it had become. My hair so short I can't even put it in a ponytail or braid, The staff was pleasant, but I'm disappointed in the texture, length and overall curly cut treatment.
