Wouldn't let anyone else color or cut it ever! Cannot recall the name of the new place / but it is on Resnick Road in the old school building. A waste of money and time. I explained exactly what I wanted both in color and style. Came out with brown straight and flat head of hair. I wanted a golden blonde and with a style of volume with my beautiful thick natural curly hair. It was the worst experienice unfortunately. read more

I just got married 2 weeks ago, and I am so, so glad my bridesmaids, Mom, Mother in Law, and Aunt got our hair and makeup done here. Katelyn was warm and welcoming, and has a knack for knowing exactly what I wanted and was picturing without me even being sure myself. She was calm, cool, and collected when I was nervous. She let the bridal party bring food, drinks, and music and said "the shop is yours while you're here! Enjoy your morning!" Everyone was beautiful, and hair and makeup looked great, and stayed put for the entire ceremony. Katelyn and Erica were both amazing and I am so happy with how everything turned out. I have been several times and Erica always cuts my hair. I never make an appt and just roll the dice. Men's haircuts generally don't take that long anyway. I think $15 is a fair price. I'll be back. read more

Super disappointed by the $50 (plus $10 tip) for an effortless hair cut by Rebecca. I understand she is trying to build her business but rushing a first time client out of the chair, not going over desired specifics, not using any product and using less than a 1/2 hour visit is guarentee enough that I will not return. My hair actually felt greasy after the visit. Sorry Rebecca, but you're going to have to step up your game if you want to work outside of a Mall ..... read more

ERICA! Omg i can not even begin to describe how amazing she is. It had been a while since I had a haircut (traumatic experience at Supercuts) and she made me incredibly comfortable. Can't recommend highly enough! Great local place willing to squeeze you in on a weekend. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere with great stylists. I saw four other haircuts while I was getting mine and every woman (range 20s to 70s) looked fabulous - short and long styles, too. This was helpful for me because I had just lopped off 10" for Locks of Love. Fortunately, I had an appointment with Erika, and she understood that I was a little ... not nervous, but anxious about how things would come out. She evened everything out, leaving it as long as she could, and gave me lovely, yet easily manageable layers and angles. And she didn't mess up my bangs. Which isn't easy! Highly recommend Caliente. I went in for a walk in men's haircut, was warmly greeted immediately, and told exactly how long it would take to be seen (it wasn't long). My haircut was with Katelyn, the owner, and she was awesome. Very friendly, super easy to talk to, and she gave a very fine haircut. She sat me down in the chair before the cut to review how I wanted it and without much direction from me she inherently knew what I wanted and how to do it. She's quick and very competent. This salon is the only place I will go! I drive from Rockland down to Plymouth just to have Erica do my hair. I went last week and Erica did highlights and a cut. We switched up my look by going a little lighter and adding a lot of layers. I never would have thought to do it, but I trust Erica completely with my hair so I went with it. Needless to say, I love it!!! Everyone that works at the salon is wonderful and it's a great environment to be in. I would recommend Caliente to everyone!! read more

I absolutely love salon caliente! I have been coming here for over 2 1/2 years. Both Katie and erica are amazing hairdressers and really take their time with their clients and ensure that they are happy. The salon is always very clean and looks nice, they always have decorations up depending on the season. They also are very flexible and will accommodate their clients in any way that they can. Caliente did my hair for a recent wedding I was in. I was the maid of honor and from out of town so I knew nothing of this salon before coming here. I was absolutely blown away by their work! I really was impressed with every single hair style these ladies did. Some of us bridesmaids had ideas of what we wanted and some did not.
