This bakery is delicious. We love coming for scones. Our personal favorites are chocolate raspberry and triberry. Just a heads up, these scones are very dense, quite sweet, and a little dry if you are not used to traditional scones. Most of stuffed with a rich filling to counteract the drier dough. Super friendly service and tasty treats! Was passing by with my boyfriend shortly after they had closed. We could smell the baked goods from a block away! The owner opened the door and let us buy some cookies even though they were busy cleaning up and prepping for the next day. Needless to say we ate all the cookies on the way home! This place has always been closed by the time I get there. Once I arrived right after it closed someone yelled through the back that they were closed. I could see two people through the metal screened door- I was starting to think that this place was just a front for some sort of illegal operation. Today I returned and nothing seemed shady about this place. A friendly smile greeted me. The scones didn't look special but after biting into my first one.... wow these scones are good! No savory scones, no decaf coffee, no dairy-alternatives and a credit card minimum -- all of which would have been fine if the tall white girl at the counter offered a perfunctory apology, but she didn't even muster a polite smile. I had to prompt her to offer me recommendations to meet the $5 credit card minimum (which she only informed me about after another prompt). I rushed out with one triple berry scone and one walnut chocolate scone even though there were two empty circular tables inside the air-conditioned bakery because I didn't feel welcome. Having just gotten back from England , we wanted more scones. These were delicious however not the England variety. So don't come here if u want traditional. That being said these were hearty, crisp & full of fruit awesome scone/muffins. We tried the currant walnut. (Plain) , the tri berry (fruity) & the blackberry. If you try the fruit ones no need to have a serving of fruit. All in all these were warm , fresh & extremely satisfying !! read more

My husband & I bought a couple of the apricot walnut scones at the Farmers Market last Sunday. They were delicious & we wished we had bought more & at least one other flavor. They were wrapped in a rice paper bag which supposedly "will break down in any landfill". You can taste the wholesomeness of the ingredients - the crunchy oats with just a hint of sweetness, then you notice the toasted coconut and the nuttiness of the walnuts and sunflower and sesame seeds. Things that only an adult would say: "That's some damn fine granola." But it's true. They do make some damn fine granola. But I'll get back to that in a second. For some reason in this shop they sell waffles. And for some reason whenever I see waffles it's impossible for me to turn them down. Sure, there are some ups in downs in everybody's life. But few things dip to the low of a soft and limp waffle. It's just so sad. And that's the waffle I had there, even having it smothered in Nutella didn't save it. Most depressing waffle ever. So.... don't get tempted by the waffles. Stick with the adult treat and repeat to yourself, "That's some damn fine granola." read more

I love this bakery! My favorite scone is the peach and strawberry filled one. Even better when you get them and they are still warm. The chocolate raspberry is also a favorite of mine. I haven't tried any other items that they serve but their banana granola is amazing too. I hope they start some sort of reward stamp card. I haven't seen one or have been offered one. The scones are around $3 or so and it would be nice to get a deal. If you buy a dozen one is free I think. Not the best deal but I still enjoy coming here when I can. read more

Sconeage is a little whole in the wall by Wilson High School, but you don't want to miss it. This little bakery offers some delicious and fresh scones and granola. The granola here is so popular that I've even seen it sold at SunLife in Malibu. The scones are also great, especially if you get them piping hot when they open first thing in the morning. The tri-berry is my favorite and is filled with chunks of strawberries and blueberries. The service is fast and is meant more for to-go since there isn't really any seating. A must try if you're looking for fresh granola or scones. read more

Everything is so delicious here. You can smell the yumminess wafting to the street. The granola bars, the loose granola, the scones, I'm salivating just thinking about them. Staff are super sweet, and I love that everything is made in house. They offer generous samples, packaged individually for sanitation. My favorite things are the chocolate chip granola bars, and anything having to do with chocolate scones. The fruit and nut stuff is also good, but I'm a chocolate fiend. Scones are pretty big, definitely shareable, or if you are eating it for yourself, could probably do two servings. They are dense, and not very sweet, which I really enjoy. Go early, since there are slim pickings by the time they close. There are a couple of tables if you want to sit and eat, but they are mostly geared for takeout orders. Who knows, maybe they'll open up a café someday? Wouldn't that be wonderful. I drive all the way from Westminster just for the goodies. Don't skip this place. read more

I noticed that the storefront had opened, exactly two blocks down the street from me, so today I finally decided to try them out. At first, I was skeptical, seeing as they're not as big as some scones I've seen and thought the price might be a little high ... and then I cut one open. They are fantastic! Definitely worth the price, because they're filled with fresh fruit and the consistency is absolutely amazing. The Sconeage is hand-made, natural products that are so tasty! The granola sends you into tastebud heaven. The cookies and scones are fabulous. I dare you to just eat one-- they are that good! I have never set foot in the bakery, but I buy their no sugar added granola at a couple of local markets. In fact, I make a special trip for the granola when we run out. I don't understand why most granola has so much added sugar, whether in the form of cane sugar, honey, maple syrup, or whatever. Sconeage granola has a toasty flavor and the right amount of crunch. I prefer the plain, but it's also available with dried blueberries and/or bananas. My favorite way to eat it is over plain yogurt with fresh bananas and berries. NO sugar needed! read more

Very good granola, a bit sweet but delicious. But the packaging is inadequate when buying over the web. They ship it in little plastic containers that pop open about a quarter of the time, so I generally get a box sprinkled with spilt product. Also, they lost my records a time or two, so I had to call back to get them back on track. Very courteous and helpful, rather spacey. read more

In fact, it has ruined me from even trying any other granola... Although I have tried to give some others a chance, but nothing compares. I have even given the granola away as gifts and everyone has loved it! I have not tried the scones but I have had the peanut butter and the chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Both were delicious! As for customer service at the Farmer's market, the owner has always been pleasant and friendly. Once there was a girl working w him and I think it might be that cell phone girl. She was texting on her phone and inattentive. She was also struggling to make change. The owner and I had to help her out because she had given me too much $$ back... A hole in a wall 5 star bakery.. Yes there can be such a thing.. don't come here for the decor, but do come here if you want to treat your tastebuds. Lovely selection of baked goods, I tasted a few...and thought they were all excellent. The staff looked happy but the room where customer hang, is simply dismal. Maybe they are trying to implicate an image, but honestly... (no stars lost) it is a bit disappointing. What are you going to say to your Great Aunt from Michigan? Bought my first scone at the farmers market and I surprised that it was only a 5 min drive away from me! I've never had scones before and theirs are absolutely delicious...buttery and fruity I love it!! So far, I've tried their tri-berry and peach strawberry flavors. Plus they're huge too, could easily be worth 2 snack sessions. Their hours clash with my schedule so I can only enjoy them every so often...but it makes sense from a freshness point of view! One note, I noticed that the scones are sold in plastic bags at the farmers market while they're put in paper bags at the store. Minus 2 for not stocking Devonshire cream or clotted cream! The scones are tasty but a little wet bc of the way they pack their fruit in. It's very pretty but I think it would be better if it was mixed in a little. The fruit caused the scone to be weirdly wet in areas. Good but not great! Service is lacking, in a big way... Everyone who comments on the apathetical approach of the counter girl are spot on. Me: Do you have any triple berry left? Her: No, we're all out. We only have day old in the back. Well, thanks for that extra info. Are they for sale? No. But they're back there. I find it a little ironic that the place is billed as a coffee shop and bakery, when coffee is such a non-player in their offerings. 1 self serve squirt thermos on the counter does not a coffee shop make. As for the scones? Meh. I had the cranberry something or other, and it was ok. I was a bit put off by what I think was their vaunted granola in the mix of the scone. I don't want oats in my scone... thanks. Still, I ate the whole thing, and kept it down, so it couldn't be bad. read more

Not to sure about this place.. They were just a typical bakery to me.. Nothing wowed me there.. And they dont even heat up your scone..Cold.. Hard scone? No thanks..
