    CREAM & SUGAR
    Brigette B.

I have the biggest sweet tooth so when my friends said let's go grab some ice cream I said Let's Go! This was the 2nd time I've been here and the first time it was during a weekend day and the line was super long. This time with it being a weekday and we were able to walk in and order right away. I ordered the Mini Cream & Sugar and even with getting the smallest size it was huge! It was loaded up to the top. I was able to eat about half of it and saved the rest for another time. It was so good and satisfied every sweet craving I had.

Love this place. The sundae options are a dream. Even the seasonal flavors. And the portions are like pints so you can enjoy it more than once. Haven't tried a flavor i didn't like yet! And i add a cake core to nearly everything i order. Last time i went i was told they don't give samples. I know it's a thing with ice cream places but my friend asked and they said they don't do that. FYI. Other than that my fav ice cream place.

Great price for the size! The sundaes are $10ish but could easily feed 2 maybe 3 people. There was a long line but it went very quickly. There are a few seats outside, but not enough so people away in the curb. Ice cream was so good

This is a unique way to eat ice cream for sure. It was super rich and gluttonous. The inside of the shop is big but very little room for customers to order and wait. Also no indoor seating. All the tables are outside but were sadly and dirty. It was good but nothing insane. I would be interested in trying a new flavor I was just overwhelmed by the menu and opted for the cookie dough sundae. One thing I will not about the specific sundae is I don't like icing enough to have a giant glob on top but the cookie dough was super moist and good.

Charlotte just got a sugar bomb dropped on Wesley Heights. The Scoop N Scootery has officially landed right next to Pizza Baby and across the street from Restaurant Constance, and they're not here to scoop politely. They're here to bury you under outrageous sundaes that laugh in the face of portion control. I was hosted to try them out and went straight for the sundae with the most chaotic energy on the menu: That Thicc Boi. This beast comes with chocolate ice cream, a brownie core, chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate chips on top, and then a full swirl of chocolate buttercream frosting. Yes, frosting. On a sundae. When they handed it over, it looked like someone decided to crossbreed a birthday cake with an ice cream pint and then dared me to survive. The buttercream mound on top is basically the size of a cupcake itself, sprinkled with chips like they're trying to make sure no part of your soul is left unsugared. The ice cream itself had that classic Blue Bell creaminess...smooth, rich, and silky enough to make the cookie dough chunks taste even more indulgent. They don't make their own ice cream, which made me a little sad at first, but they use Blue Bell Creamery and Hershey's as their ice cream suppliers, and honestly Blue Bell is one of my favorite commercial brands, so I forgave them pretty quickly. Plus, the toppings situation makes up for it. There are 19 flavors of ice cream, and if you want to go rogue you can choose up to 5 toppings out of over 40 options. They also whip their own whipped cream in-house, which feels like a personal apology for not churning their own ice cream. The portion sizes make absolutely no sense. A "mini" is 12 ounces. That's the size of an entire Ben & Jerry's pint. From there it only escalates. A Tasty is 16 ounces, Hungry is 20, and Legendary is 24 ounces. These aren't sundaes. These are upper body workouts with sprinkles. They deliver through 3rd-party apps within a 15-mile radius. They even tested delivery all the way to Fort Mill, and it still showed up frozen. They do this by putting your sundae in the freezer for five minutes after making it and then packing it like it's a newborn child being shipped to college. Minimal touches, maximum chill. At this point, I trust their logistics more than most airlines. The Scoop N Scootery started in Boston, but Charlotte's franchise is run by local Patrick Knorring, who clearly has no fear of expansion. Three more locations are already on the way, one in University City, one in Matthews, and a third mystery spot still under wraps. Their hours are designed for every possible craving cycle. They open at 3 pm six days a week, stay open until 2 am most nights, close at 10 pm on Sundays, and take Mondays off because even ice cream needs a reset. Beyond sundaes, they sell fresh-baked cookie snack packs and cookie ice cream sandwiches, which honestly feel like the gateway drug to their 72 signature sundaes. Yes, 72. Or you can create your own monster. The inside is simple, you order at a big counter with screens. Outside, the red patio chairs under the string lights give it a laid-back hangout vibe, the kind of place where you can lose an hour debating whether you regret ordering a Legendary size. The sundae itself looked almost cartoonish in my hand, and when mine was packed up in their brown delivery bag it felt like I was smuggling contraband sugar out of the building. The Scoop N Scootery isn't here to play it safe. It's here to serve sundaes that look like a cheat code for diabetes. It's excessive, ridiculous, creamy, and exactly the kind of fun late-night Charlotte needed. Looking for more legit Charlotte food spots without the fluff? I really wish they would update their hours or at least fix them online. I just drove 40 minutes for absolutely no reason, and when I got there, all they had was a little sign on the door saying "we're closed." Like bruh... seriously? The least they could do is post on social media or give some kind of heads-up so people don't waste their time and gas. A little communication goes a long way.

Unreal ice cream and A+ crew! Couldn't recommend this more if you're in the Charlotte area and looking for a dessert option.

On this particular visit, I sat on the patio, which I had never done before, but it was nice and quiet and very relaxing on a Sunday evening. I ordered the cheesecake and it was garnished with caramel popcorn, which added a nice touch to look at, but the popcorn was stale so I don't really think it was necessary, but it did make the plate look pretty. The cheesecake was delicious. Couldn't finish it all, but I took it home and finished it the next day. Our server was great. She was very attentive, friendly, and gave good suggestions. But a good friend of mine said that they go all the time and haven't had any issues and wanted to get me to try it again. So, we went on a Saturday evening around 6ish. We didn't necessarily have any issues getting in, but the hostess did say that her security might have an issue with the shirt my friend had on, even though he was very dressed up. It made me uncomfortable and seemed threatning almost. But she let us in and everything was fine. I don't understand why Crave always acts this way. But then when I walk in I see people of non-color dressed any kind of way, casual, etc. It just really rubs me the wrong way and for it to happen to me EVERY time I go, only leads me to one conclusion... So, anyway. We were there and we ordered hookah drinks and had a good time. Our server was super sweet and chill. She really saved the visit. I had a good time, but I most likely will not be back again.

The shop is very small, they have a good selection of flavors, and it is all dairy, egg, and gluten free. You honestly would never know! It tasted exactly how ice cream should. Great mouth feel, rich, but not sweet. We tried the chocolate with cookies and Oreo pieces and the mint chip. Very very tasty. Again, if they did not tell you this was dairy free, you could not tell at all. They offer tastes, you can get one or two scoops or waffle cones, or ice cream sandwiches, and I think you can ask for sprinkles. They have a friendly staff behind the counter. They are also cashless, so be sure to have a credit card here. I would definitely come back for another flavor, I was really wowed by this ice cream. If you are in Camp North End, stop in for a scoop.

So which version are customers supposed to believe? Regardless of who is saying what, the outcome is the same. They lost several customers yesterday, and we will not be returning after this experience. After talking to a lawyer, they believe this is predatory enforcement, and we will file a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and with the Better Business Bureau. Two Scoops Creamery on Central Avenue went from being one of our favorite spots to somewhere we will never return in less than a minute. We met up with a group of friends there today. Before grabbing ice cream, we briefly stopped into Sin City next door. As one of our friends was walking in, he noticed cars in the shared parking lot were actively being booted. We had been there maybe 15 minutes. Apparently, if you step into the neighboring business at all -- even if you're planning to purchase from Two Scoops immediately after -- they will boot your car and demand $275 to remove it. We spoke directly with the staff at Two Scoops and explained that we were simply meeting up and didn't realize stepping next door wasn't allowed. The response was essentially, "Too bad." There was no grace, no warning, no attempt at understanding -- just an immediate $275 penalty. It feels like an incredibly predatory and unethical practice, especially for loyal customers who intended to support the business. We didn't even stay for ice cream, and we won't be back.
