I had to definitely give a 5 star rating to "the screen pro" Tom. Very professional and knowledgeable. I called just to ask if they work with metal screen mesh and they said yes they do. I called several out of the area places and no one seem to know what I was talking about, So I asked What would be the cost to restore my 2 sliding vintage glass door screens for what ever material they had and they couldn't respond with a price. They said to bring to there shop and they see how much the job will cost. Very inconvenient. I seen the screen pro driving by my house and decided to ask him if he could help. He said yes. I text him the screen doors pictures and he said, I can do the job after 12pm same day. Amazing services, he even offered a pet friendly plastic screen for the front door to protect it from our cat. Yes yes yes! This wonderful man saved me over $1,000! He saved my screen door (that I thought would be replaced) and made it look 100 brand new, he also installed a lock in our slider so we can use a key to get back in.... GENIUS SAVINGS. I highly recommend the company. He could have 100% ripped me left and right with charges that I was expecting and instead he saved me money! It was rough getting ahold of them when their mailbox was full, but worth the call back to try again! Super friendly and can give you a rough estimate over the phone. Super fast getting the job done and you would never know because of my cats! My cats adored screen pro while he was working and wouldn't leave him alone. He didn't seem to mind either. They were very quick to respond. We have some very old windows and the screens were bent and two didn't quite fit the width of the window. It was easy to make an appointment. One thing this company does is come out to measure and create the screens on site. A few companies I called asked me to being the screens in to be duplicated. If my screens were a perfect fit, that could make sense. But sine they weren't, having The Screen Pro come out to measure and fabricate made the most sense. Three window screens fabricated on site was about $186. To me, it was totally worth it. I didn't have to worry about taking the screens to someone or the fit after fabrication. We recently moved into an older home that has a backyard screened in patio...the only problem was that all of the screens (15 panels and a swinging door) were all broken or torn and the door was useless. I spent 3 months researching all my options, Home Depot, Lowe's, and 3 other private contractors. My budget was around $200 for a screen door and willing to install my self. Little did I know that "size matters" and my front door is not a standard size and would need to be customized to fit. Our 4 month old puppy ripped the sliding door screen. I didn't want to buy a new screen door from the hardware store and I was given advice to yelp for re-screening services. I called 3 businesses and Tom with The Screen Pro was the only one who could come out same day. He did say he was busy with other jobs, but since he was working around our area, he would squeeze us in. He came out at the time said he would and gave us options on the type of screen we should use since we have a puppy. We chose the best screen and he quickly did the re-screen and made some adjustments to hardware. The price was perfect. The door looks better now than it did when it was new. One of the other company's I interviewed said there was a minimum charge (which was $40 more than what I paid) just to come out, and then said they weren't available until the following week! Called to repair a 30 inch back screen door in a 1950's house. Did a very good job on a door we had been told would need a new, special order custom door costing over $200 with no guarantee of fit. And installed a new door latch. Also fixed patio screen door which had come off its track; and, made a custom window screen for bedroom with a window air conditioner unit sticking out, matching color to Kaiser screens on other front windows.
