I was referred here by a coworker for the Koi Lite scrub sets. Prices were the cheapest that I could find. Top and Bottom $49.99, which is cheaper than Amazon and UA. I always purchase my scrubs in TALL, but unfortunately they had none available in the store. The owner June let me know that she can order the scrubs and they would be shipped to the store within three to four business days. It actually took six business days, which had me annoyed because I needed them for work. June was apologetic. I needed some men's scrub pants and a jacket. The nice ladies asked me what color and picked out everything I needed, so I could try them on. The prices were pretty affordable, too. I could understand that people who are just trying to browse around looking for a variety of items might feel uncomfortable with the store owners hovering right over them, but I am a guy, my needs were simple, and I just wanted to get in and out of the store quickly. These ladies helped me do just that! If you feel that these store owners are in your face all the time, just try to understand that they do not mean to invade your personal space. That is how Chinese people are when they want to be friendly and helpful. It sure beats the Chinese workers at some restaurants and banks, who are rude, cold, never smile, and don't even try to help you. Located inside the mall near south entrance next to Sears - yelp and google maps fairly unhelpful with exact location. Im 6'3 and skinny. Called 1st to see of they carry mens "tall" size scrubs. Lady was super helpful and had options ready when I got there. Ended up buying a couple sets and then later price checked her online & to my surprise she was less than Amazon and another website for the exact same set of scrubs! Great service and good price. This is my 3rd visit to this store. Nice lil old lady, friendly and eager to make a sale. She has a good eye for what fits in whatever brand you ask for and her prices are great (I actually compared the prices for the sets I purchased with amazon and scrub&beyond, hers were priced 3 to 5 dollars less on a set and on top of that she'll offer a little more discount if you buy more sets). On my first visit, I had asked for pants in medium because of some other brand I had, she had mentioned she think I am a small but I said I wanted medium cause I don't like my clothes tight fitting. She gave me what I ask for. I took it home and found out it was too big! Brought it back the next day and she gave me a small without any issues. On my next 2 visits, I just tell her what I want and my budget. She never disappoints. I bought two pairs of scrubs from this place about 1.5 years ago due to referral from a co-worker. The lady was very nice in assisting me with finding the right size. I came in wanting to check out prices on her grey's anatomy series and compare other brands of scrubs. I didn't really want to make a purchase yet, but seeing that I took at least an hour searching and trying out several pairs for the right fit, I ended up getting two pairs of scrubs from her. There were a couple of customers that came in around the same time, but she made time for all of us. I've been to another store where I bought a pair of scrubs without trying it on and was lucky that they fit. Scrub prices are comparable to other stores... around $13.99+. There are usually sales, but the materials are pretty rough and sizes vary. I'm not sure why it was bad customer service to other reviewers, but maybe go in a group to let the pressure divide? I think she had to help several customers at a time when I was there, so that's why I had a great experience. read more

The Lady that runs this store is only out for your money. Yeah, she'll try to be helpful to you in the beginning and then rushes you in buy the things she chooses for you so she can focus on other things like counting her money. When I came I knew specifically what scrub I wanted. I just wasn't sure of the color. Like how the previous reviewer described her, she was really friendly and kept calling me "MY FRIEND". I told her exactly what I wanted and she tried to be friendly because she appeared rushed. No one else was in the store at the time except me. She only let me try on the TOP scrub of my size, but not the color I wanted or the matching pant I needed, although I insisted on trying on a pant pair, she kept saying "I know you're a size xs trust me". I ended up buying a white and blue scrub pair without trying them on but I knew they were the correct TOP size. The next day I came back to exchange the scrubs that I bought for different colors since the colors I bought looked funky on me and I didn't like how one of the pants looked on me. The receipt said "NO RETURNS. ONLY EXCHANGES WITHIN 7 DAYS" Nothing more. Once I told her I was gonna exchange them for different colors because I didn't like how they looked at home, she obviously became upset and told me that I was the one that chose the colors...as if I was even given the opportunity to try them on in the store in the first place.At first she was going to let me, but then she nit-pinkingly examined each scrub and literally criticized each particle and wrinkle on the scrubs, especially the white one.The tags were perfectly on them and they were clean. She even thought the tag was off when it was still attached to the clothing and hidden inside! She accused me of wearing them especially the white one and even pointed out how wrinkled the back part was. She kept saying that I was "dishonoring her" and she would not accept the exchange in a rude and angry tone. I stayed firm with my reason that I simply tried them on at home. She kept saying I wore them out in "public" because of how slightly wrinkled they looked, which is from being fitted and folded and how dirty the white one was when really it is clean as the white background on this yelp page. She even dismissed me by saying "I don't want to continue talking to you anymore because you're going to argue" SERIOUSLY, THIS LADY NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. YOU DON'T ACCUSE YOUR CUSTOMERS OF LYING OR "DISHONORING YOU" ANGRILY. all of this trouble could have been avoided if she wasn't so stingy in letting people try out the scrubs in the store so they don't have to come back and be accused of wearing them when they simply tried them out at home. Is that too much of a hassle? Whats sad was that I was here before and I bought 2 pairs of scrubs from her. They turned out great and I didn't need to come back. It only shows how some people are nice to their customers when money is presently involved and they become a complete 180 once they see you as a hassle. Not even willing to help. First of all. I've ready so many reviews saying she was rude. But I still came because it was the closest to me. First impression of the lady was super nice! I went directly to the male section and looked for the wonder wink scrubs. I was looking around and she came up to me and helped me out. I was looking at the prices and it said around $34. I asked her for the price for both the top and the bottom. She told me $25.99 for a pair. Then i kept looking for different color and the prices then she stated, "dont look at the price, look at the color I give for you. So I asked to try the wonder wink scrubs on and after that I asked for the price for the pair and she said 25.99. So i told her I'll buy three pairs. As soon as she rung it up the total was around $119. I was so shocked because I only calculated it to be at least $80 including tax. Then I asked her again, how much for the pair and now she's saying $34.99. I told her, "I asked you earlier, you said $25.99." Then she denied it and stated, "that one right there (while pointing to the Dickies scrubs) I told you is $25.99. I got confused because I never even asked for the Dickies brand. Then she showed me the price of the wonder wink which was $34.99 and told me the original price is $39.99 and they're having a sale of 40% off, so they're now $34.99. IT DID NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL! Love this shop! June is the best and I've known her for years! She has always been helpful, courteous and super sweet! Obviously everyone is entitled to their opinions but I've never had anything but a great experience while shopping here. She's helped both my daughter's with their scrubs and knows and asks for them by name even after not seeing them for awhile. I came in here searching from some character scrubs as I recently accepted a job at a children's hospital. Keep in mind that I have never had to shop for scrubs before and the large amount of brands was rather intimidating. I needed these for the next day and it was already late afternoon so I didn't really have time to shop around and after some Yelp searching I was able to find this place close to my home. This store is located inside the Buena Park Mall in Downtown Buena Park. It's close to Sears so it was very easy to find. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a "Hello, my friend!" And I was quickly approached and offered help. I didn't catch her name but she was an older Asian lady who was absolutely fantastic! She asked if there was anything specific I was looking for and what cartoon characters I favored and helped me find my proper size! She helped me with finding petite bottoms and there was some in every color. She even offered to order some for me if she didn't have them. I was literally in and out in about 15 minutes including try on and that was because she so helpful I hardly had to shop for myself. I went to this shop trusting the "good reviews" and I have to say I should've kept reading. The second I walked in, I was waved by an Asian lady yelling at me "Excuse me!! What you looking for?!" I just thought she wanted to help..I began explaining what I was looking for (scrub pants) and she started asking me a size and color etc. Out of nowhere, an Asian girl walks in speaking in a different language. The Asian lady completely ignored me and left me to attend the other girl. I waited patiently and when she came out with the scrub pants I asked her if I could try them on and she told me "I give you good price for $20" and I asked AGAIN to try them on and she said "Noo you cannot try on they're new!! You buy, then you try on." So I continued to ask, "so I cannot try any on??" And she told me no. I walked away and left. And I noticed everything was honestly over priced. I am the kind of person that likes shopping in peace with no one to disturb me. I went in to look for scrubs for my new job, and maybe buy one if the price was good. as soon as i walked in she did not give me a second to stroll the store by myself and just see what i liked. she kept telling me this or this and i kept saying no, you would think she would get the hint that she was not helping by asking me every second if i wanted this top. i told her that i don't like pink, yet she kept asking me. i ended up trying on 4 pairs of scrubs and i came out trying to decided which one to buy out of two that i liked, but before i could say anything she was wringing both up. i thought to myself ok well i guess i could always decide which to keep and return the other one. she rang me up and i said thank you and left. 3 days later i went back to return both scrubs because it turned out my new job assigned their own scrubs as uniforms (which i wasn't told before hand). she said she could only exchange or give store credit. i explained to her how i got a new job and how they have their own uniform, yet she said store credit and i could come back to buy something later. i informed her that would never need anything from the store so i just want my money back please, but she kept saying" every uniform doesn't do refund, just store credit!" i was like you should have informed me this before i made my purchase and if i can talk to a manager and she said no and it is like this at all uniform stores. i became upset and said that she was being unreasonable and not understanding that i do not need anything from the store and just want my money. but she just handed me a paper that said store credit and the price ($80 bucks) and said i could come back anytime. i decided to grab it and just march out. i called my credit company and asked if they could dispute the charge but on the bottom receipt she had stamped that there was only exchange and no refunds, so they could not do anything. which i found stupid because the receipt was given to me after my purchase and i was never informed prior to my purchase (no signs or verbal warning like every other store tells you.) anyway the moral of the review is if you go get ready to have her attached to you annoying you every second and forcing a purchase n you and then acting completely heartless about your situation when you come back with a problem! i would rather pay more somewhere else and not have these problems. now i lost 80 bucks, which i haven't even made yet. read more

Wow!!!!! I just moved to California and I have been looking for a nursing scrub store that carry Wonderwink and didn't have much luck. After visiting several stores near my area, I felt disappointed because they either didn't carry that brand or the staff was extremely rude. After wasting so many hours looking for places near my house, I decided to drive in an hour to the Scrub Shoppe and it was the best decision ever. June was so helpful and even recommended going for the regular pants even though I am petite. I told her I was on my way to buy Dankos shoes and straight up told me not to go for the petite because the shoes were about 3 inches high. June is very knowledgeable and she is not pushy. She wants the best for the customers and that's exactly how I felt. I would give this store 10 stars if I could because it is so organized. I was able to find everything so quick.
