David listened to everything I wanted and was willing to work within my budget and had great budget-friendly suggestions to aid in meeting my design goal! He is an absolute rockstar and I had the florals of my DREAMS! He was also very communicative via email and phone anytime I needed anything or wanted to tweak my floral design (or add more candles in the eleventh hour of planning). I would pick Secret Garden to do my wedding florals time and time again! I want to plan a vow renewal just for an excuse to use that many beautiful flowers designed by them again. Secret Garden surpassed our expectations! Our wedding was September 18, 2025. Initially it was very hard for us to find a florist within our budget for a 30 person wedding. David was so helpful from the start he met with us initially and showed up various options for bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, table arrangements, etc. within our budget. He quickly drafted up a contract and we were able to edit it. He was responsive over email and very easy to work with! On the day of our wedding all of the flowers showed up to three locations on time. Each flower arrangement was so beautiful. We used The Secret Garden for our wedding and the flowers were spectacular. The owner of the shop is lovely and just amazing with flowers. In just a few minutes he understood what we wanted and had whipped up a bouquet that was so pretty. We also ordered larger plants for the ceremony and to place at the venue, which added a nice touch. David, the owner of The Secret Garden, made the process of deciding on wedding flowers easy! We made an appointment and sat down with him, showed him some pictures of what we thought we wanted, and he put together a sample arrangement with different types and colors of flowers so we could get an idea of what it would look like. And afterward he let us take it home, which was a super nice touch! David was never pushy, very patient and extremely knowledgeable, and worked with us to stay in our desired budget. He also helped us figure out the best way to keep our wedding arch standing (we were assembling it ourselves a few days before the wedding) and rented us some additional items we needed to make it happen and help us save some money. The flowers were delivered as scheduled on the day of the wedding and they were gorgeous!!! They arranged the flowers on our ceremony arch as well and did a beautiful job. I called to order flowers for my mother. She was coming home from the hospital but had not left it yet. It was on Saturday 6-7-14. I was concerned that they not deliver them with no one home, so asked them to call first. Unfortunately closing time came before my mother got home. My father called The Secret Garden and told them that mom was finally home at 7:30 P.M. I don't know why someone answered, but bless them, they did. And they went out of their way to actually deliver the bouquet, which my mother says is the most beautiful she has ever seen. She says that it is loaded with many colors of roses and other flowers she can't even name. I had ordered a "How Sweet It Is" bouquet, and picked the $44.95 version. Mom says it is huge. I've been receiving flowers from Secret Garden in Jamestown for many years, as my sons send them to me directly from the florist for all special events. It used to be that the flowers were spectacular. I would say they looked like they belonged in a 5 star hotel lobby. They were unusual for florists as they were garden type flowers, and they were fresh and lusand lasted a long time. I received flowers for mother's day on Sunday, (a nice touch, delivering on the day). This was the second time I received flowers this year (last time was for my birthday in March). They are already looking bedraggled. there was a total of 5 peonies, 2 which look dead already, and 4 roses, again 2 which look dead, stems are droopy, and tons of filler. the lilacs and irises they put in are dead already. The flowers I got for my birthday were the same condition -- mostly filler with a few big blooms. They ar plunked into a vase and have no grace or style. Last year they were not as great as in the past, but this year they are really a disappointment. I know they were expensive. I am going to ask my sons to stop using Secret Garden. I am not sure why they have become so mediocre or less, but I am not going to continue to have them as my florist of choice. If you decide to use them, call them directly and tell them that they are being evaluated. Maybe then you may get fresh flowers and value for the money. Then again, maybe you won't . read more

I recently found out, my personal information was stolen, and misappropriated to a third party by an employee there "Linda". The owner admitted the connection, but refused to do anything about it.
