I scheduled the appointment and went in for the alterations, had it all pinned up and was given the day before to pick up with the timeframe of 12-1pm. At 11:22 day of pick I was called and told that she had not even started my dress yet. Since then she used another person as a point of communication and has yet to return my calls or call me regarding my dress, including the charge that she tacked on to someone else's bill and credit card. She had the audacity to charge me full price for the dress as well as charge me a credit card fee for somebody else picking up the dress on that person's credit card. If my dress was done on time, it would have been paid for in cash and avoided so said fee as well. I am extremely disappointed with the fact that she still has yet to call me back to talk to me regarding this issue.

The cleaning is great and the alterations have been beautiful. I took a very long satin skirt in to be hemmed and the owner actually hemmed it for me herself. I've had other alterations done with them as well, with the same results. I guess I've been lucky as I have no complaints as I've read from others. My opinion and my experience with them have been a total FIVE STAR.

After several visits and 3 weeks, my clothing was returned. The cleaning job was ok. The one item that needed a repair was not done properly. At this point, I'm just happy to have my clothing back. While I was there picking up my last piece, a gentleman was there fighting with them over a list item he needed to wear to a wedding that weekend. So, it kind of seems like a trend with them. I have been a regular customer of Fashion Cleaners for almost three years. Today, a woman who said she was filling in from the Fort Myers location was working at the store. I understand that employees may have different procedures and that special items may take extra time, but the experience today was completely unacceptable. I waited roughly 25 minutes while she went through another customer's items in extreme detail, and then when it was my turn, she began unfolding sleeves, inspecting every shirt, unbuttoning collars, and explaining how customers sometimes bring in damaged shirts. I bring my clothes here every week. These were regular shirts and a suit, not unusual specialty items. I was not asking for anything complicated. I simply needed my items counted and checked in the way they have been for years. Instead, the process felt unnecessarily slow, uncomfortable, and excessive. It felt like I was being treated as if I had done something wrong before anything had even happened. When I politely asked whether I should leave and come back because I had already been waiting a long time, she became defensive and made a comment along the lines of, "I hope you're having a better day." That was completely inappropriate. I was not upset when I walked in. I became upset because the service was slow, uncomfortable, and unnecessarily confrontational. Another issue was that customers were waiting up front and she was not visible for quite some time. I understand she may be new to this location, but customers should not be left waiting while the check-in process becomes this drawn out and inefficient. I have been loyal to this location for nearly three years, but I will not continue bringing my business here if this is the way customers are going to be treated. I do not want to deal with that employee again at this location. This was not the normal service I have received from Fashion Cleaners, and I hope management addresses it immediately.
