Since August 3rd 2015 I have attempted to be reimbursed from Christophers Farber for Shears that I never received. After daily numerous text messages, delays, and me going to the police department, I was finally reimbursed today as of September10 2015. Do not go to this guy to sharpen your sheers, the company was amazing when Linden owned it, he was an honest guy. Chris will take your sheers letting you believe he knows what he's doing but he doesn't. Linden knew what he was doing. Not only that but Chris has raised prices which would be excusable if he did a good job. He ruined at least 5 different sheers from different people at the salon i'm in. When we called to let him know our concerns with out sheers all he could say was how much people recommended him. Earlier he'd told me how he services a bunch of fantastic sam's and how these ladies would throw around and bang their sheers up and he'd have to fix them as they constantly bought new sheers every two months. Well just a thought but who cares about how good the sharpening is if you're going to buy new sheers every two months anyway.. read more

I really do not like giving bad reviews but I feel like this was a complete let down. I had used him a few times to sharpen shears and they seemed ok at first but lost the edge very quickly. I then bought a new pair from him and from day one they never seemed to cut right and would pull the hair at the tip of the shears. I contacted him about exchanging them for a different pair or refund and he told me to pick a pair so I did. I had sent him several texts regarding this situation and he stopped responding and disappeared. It really makes me sad when people do not have professional business skills to deal with these situations. I would not recommend you buy scissors from him. read more

After a month of many texts, leaving vmails and no response to my calls and texts, You have stolen my scizzors!!! And look, there are many people you have stolen from here on your page. I have been doing hair for 31 yrs and have never come across this kind of behavior. I guess Chris you needed my scizzors more than I. I used your, what I thought was professional craft, a month ago to sharpen my scizzors and texted back and forth for a month now and still haven't heard back for you. I've notified the owner of the franchise and my neighbors here at Phenix about you. Oh and the 15.00 loaner pair you left me for my expensive UNITE pair, you sure you don't want those back? If I could give 0 stars I would. On 2/10/16 Christopher Faber sharpened my $700 shears. They were horrible! So I texted him and he came back to fix them. He said his machine was out of balance. He said he couldn't finish them and wanted to take them home. Since that time and with numerous texts I still don't have my shears back. He is a thief and a crook. Take heed. This guy is a thief. He took my $600 scissors completely ruined them. It took me over 6 months of dealing with him to get my shears back. When I did get them back he had stripped the screw and sharpened the metal down to nothing. My scissors are ruined and can not be used. Do not use him. Another stylist at my salon is dealing with the same issue. He is so unprofessional, he does not return calls and if you are lucky you might get your scissors back ruined. I have been a stylist for 29 years and have never dealt with anyone as crooked as this guy is. He has been banned from our salon. read more

Christopher Farber is not a man of his word .I work at Hair Bears in Tustin. He ruined 2 of my shears they cut paper but not wet hair Christopher stiffed me said he would make it right but doesnt answer calls of come by. No Good Review for you! Its zero stars but I have to pick 1 read more
