This was the fourth time I have been to The Shop. The Chicken Florentine crepe was delicious. Lots of chicken and cheese but could have had a little more spinach. Service was friendly and prompt, but allowed us to linger afterwards. The people next to us had the burgers. They were huge and looked delicious. The fries looked good too. I'm actually very surprised that I found this quality of restaurant in Binghamton. Definitely tasted better than any other crepe places, even in the city. Prosciutto with swiss cheese in crepe amazingly goes well together and the portion was not bad. I just wish there were just little more prosciutto on there. I was mostly impressed by hummus dip. I'm not a hummus fan but I absolutely loved this soft hummus with pita breads. It was little overpriced ($10) in my opinion, so I'm not sure if I'll order it again but you should try it if you're a hummus fan. I went to The Shop with my friends after the Colonial had a 1.5 hour wait. Let me tell you I am very glad it had that wait because the shop was delicious . I was very pleased with my flatbread and I had a taste of each as seen in the photo. I have nothing bad to say about the pizzas. My iced caramel coffee was good as well. I can't give this place a five because it was not "omg this place is so f*** amazing" it was just really good and did the job. The atmosphere is also really nice and cozy. read more

Ok, so I just realized that I reviewed The Shop when they first opened and I only gave them a 3. My bad! I love this place, their crepes with the smoked pork and red pepper eggplant whip is one of my favorite meals in downtown Binghamton! Even though they have expanded their menu since they opened, those crepes are so amazing that I can never order anything else, they're that good! I've gotten their sweet crepes for dessert though too and they're great! I've had some good coffee drinks here as well, most recently a mocha latte that was delightful. The staff here has always been super friendly, but sometimes things can be a little slow, whatever, I never come here when I'm in a rush. I do hate that they close down over the summer though! The vibes here are really cool, the lighting is dim but it gives it a really nice vibe. It's clean and makes for a very relaxing time with friends, I love it here!! read more

had the BESTTT lavender vanilla latte of my LIFE here. i think they use intelligentsia coffee. also got truffle fries which were soo crispy but very salty, even for someone who loves salt (me). i don't think they have much of any vegan options, as their veggie burger has egg. but maybe if you ask they could do an off menu thing? would go back just for the coffee. read more

Amazing food and amazing service! I went for restaurant week after looking at their menu online. I ordered the house heritage greens salad, roasted pork loin banh mi sandwich, and milk & chocolate chip cookies. The salad was good, though they could've been a little more heavy handed with the dressing. The cookies were super chocolatey and chewy. The sandwich was perfectly crispy, savory, tangy, crunchy, and spicy. The bread was just toasted enough to be flaky and wasn't chewy at all, the pork was flavorful, the pickled veggies were well done, and the jalapeno gave the sandwich a nice kick! I've had some good banh mi sandwiches in my day, but this one is definitely near the top on my list! I beg of them to put it on their permanent menu! On top of all that, our server was one of the friendliest servers I've ever met. So glad we decided on The Shop to kick off our restaurant week this fall! We will definitely be back. read more

I did NOT expect Binghamton to have such a great restaurant. Everything was up to par - service, taste, & presentation. Hipster like decor makes the restaurant stand out. Driving through Binghamton and decided to try this as we wanted something light. We happened to hit restaurant week. We got there just before the after work crowd. We ordered from the regular menu and both had crepes. They were perfect! Service was good even though the place filled up while we were there. Only downside is acoustics are bad and with crowd, the noise level was very high. Will stop again when in the area. read more

Was a frequent customer, great cocktails and atmosphere. Unfortunately, while having lunch, one of their chairs broke on my friend (thin guy) and he almost fell all the way back. At first our server was apologetic and asked if he was alright but then the manager came over in a huff, told us it cost $250 and walked away. Then she sent over her male partner, who accused him of breaking the chair, and that they had cameras to check. No apologies were issued and they made us feel very uncomfortable. I work at a restaurant and would never handle a situation like that. Will not be returning, and I would suggest that they tailor their managing styles as to not chase away their regular customers. read more

Oh, my goodness, I love this place. My husband and I moved to town last week, and were delighted to discover that it was restaurant week in Binghamton. We went for lunch with a friend of ours who helped us move from IL to NY, and a friend of hers who came up from the city for the day. We all started with the lentil soup, which was gorgeous. After that, three of us had a crepe with havarti and some sort of eggplant/red pepper whip. Amazing. The meat eater in the group had a chicken sandwhich, which he said was very good. We finished up with some tea and a fantastic dessert crepe. We will definitely be back. ***Oh! And our waiter, whose name escapes me (he had a shaved head and glasses), was so good and so friendly we still comment about it to each other weeks later. read more

I LOVED it here! I've been living in Binghamton for only a couple months and there's so many places to eat. I had been meaning to try it and I was so impressed. I had the egg, Swiss, and ham crepe and it was phenomenal. I also had an almond milk latte, which was really yummy. My cousin who went with me had the vanilla lavender latte, which was very interesting and delicious! We shared the Nutella banana and strawberry crepe which was also wonderful. This place just opened up in downtown Binghamton and I had a great experience during my first visit. I ordered the beef charcuterie and an iced americano which is not on the menu but the bartender made it for me since they did not have the cold brew available yet. The menu could be a bit larger but I think they will add to it as time passes by. The atmosphere is great and you feel like your in a bar/cafe in downtown NYC. The exposed brick is great and there is a nice lounge at the back of the restaurant. Restaurant week starts tomorrow and I recommend anyone to come visit. I went for Restaurant Week but ended up getting stuff out of the RW menu as well. The small plates were really good, I had the smoked pork one and it was so yummy...if anything I think the portions of manchego were really small even for this type of plate but I can definitely look past that. The mushroom pate was also really good, great alternative for vegetarians. Also ordered the prosciutto crepe and again I was pleasantly surprised. I also ordered a latte which was absolutely delicious, so creamy it reminded me of my favorite coffee shop back home, so extra points for that! My boyfriend ordered a regular coffee and they brought out the CUTEST mini french press I have ever seen. *the only thing I would say is missing, would be a salad selection* Even tough the small plates do come with a side salad, I'd rather pay a little more for a bigger salad portion with a more inventive dressing. I had such a great time on a Saturday night, that we went back to try their sweet crepes for brunch...only to find they are closed on Sundays. :( You guys would have a loyal customer if you open Sundays as well, just saying haha. I've been here a few times for coffee, or drinks, or the amazing crepes but I'd like to review this most recent visit because it really stood out to me. The house was packed, every seat in the house was taken, and I expected service to be delay. However, we sat very quickly. Our server was so friendly and helpful bringing water right away and taking our order. I got a chai latte which was as beautiful as it was delicious. And the roasted veggie crepe came out surprisingly quick for how busy they were and was huge! Everything tasted great and my experience was fabulous.
