Other staff who were up front saw us and rushed to the back of the store. Last I heard, Big 5 wasn't in a position to be turning down customers and closing their doors early just so they can leave early on a Friday. Take your business elsewhere. Won't be back.

Finally I called this location. The person on the phone confirmed that they had one. I even made sure to clarify that it's for a RMR HD not a regular RMR. They confirmed it's for an RMR HD. So I drive over an hour and half through Sunday traffic. I asked to show me the Stacatto HD, RMR HD plate. And they pull out a regular RMR plate, not RMR HD. For those of you who don't know, an RMR HD has different dimensions to a regular RMR, so the optic plate they showed me isn't going to work for my application So I explained to them that I need the optic for a "Trijicon RMR HD" not a "regular RMR". The manager explained to me that the optic plate he had presented me is the right one. I explained to them that it's the same footprint but the RMR HD specific plate is moved back to make room for the front sight post, it's almost like Stacatto thought some people might be using a RMR HD or SRO optic. After going back and forth with this dude for a while, I showed him a picture online of the difference between the two plates. I had to explain and reexplain again that the dimensions between the two optics are different, despite having the same footprint print. I had to end the conversation because he was gaslighting me by saying, "ohh, it's for an SRO, you should've just said that, see that, it's says SRO/RMR HD, not just RMR HD". After he said that, I thanked him for his time and walked away. So long story short, I was told something I was looking for, was there but it actually wasn't. And the manager tried to lecture me about things he has no clue about. 10/10 would get passive aggressive again.

Alejandra was very patient with me in my selection process. Perhaps the less then favorable reviews were from people having a bad day. I'm a firm believer in supporting my local businesses rather than purchase online. It's great for the local economy and keeps neighboring people employed. The parking is terrific being just seconds from the store. There are a few other things which I'm interested in so I'll make it a point to return here when I have more time. It was in it's original packaging.. Finally, she accepted it as an exchange and told me to grab another one. She said if it happens again, I'm going to have to take it up with the manufacturer... I told her what about the tent, what if there is a hole. She told me I can open it up in the store but there was no room to do that.. so I told her that I'll just set it up today at home and if it's not good I'll bring it back. She then proceeded to do the exchange then told me it was going to be $17.99.. wait.. I'm exchanging.. why do I need to pay. She said initially it was purchased with a coupon.. I said okay... So use the same coupon.. she then said she didn't have a coupon, so she made me look for the same coupon.. I found one on their website and luckily it worked and covered the $17.99.. I found a coupon for here on retail me not for $10 off $60. That was enough for me to go and look for what they had. I did find suspender snow pants and boots for my 5 year old daughter. With the coupon the pants came to $24.99, not the best but not bad! Didn't see any boots for my 2 year old baby though unfortunately. I certainly do think they could have greeted me when I walked in, manager looked right past me. Also 2 cashiers were working and no one was paying attention as I waited in line. I drove out on Saturday, August 29, and it was the wrong bat. If a customer takes the time to call ahead and confirm inventory before a long drive, that confirmation should mean something. Please make sure staff actually know what is in stock before telling someone yes. It cost me a wasted afternoon that a five minute check could have prevented.

I came with my partner after spending the day at the outlets near Palm Springs. We arrived pretty close to closing, and even then, it was such an amazing experience. I finally got the Bass Pro hats I've been dreaming about, and honestly, this is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. They literally have everything for the outdoors; fishing, camping, road trips, hiking... if you need it, they probably have it. They even sell boats! There was a shooting range, archery equipment, grills, snacks, a restaurant, sweets, and so much more. I could have spent hours exploring. And the prices?! An absolute STEAL!! I was shocked seeing hats for $5.99 and $9.99. How?! We also grabbed their BBQ chips, and they were chef's kiss. The employees were very friendly. The cashier who helped us was incredibly kind. She did spend quite a while helping the customer in front of us, and my partner and I were joking that it looked like love at first sight between them. It made for a funny moment while we waited. One important heads-up: Apple Pay is currently not working. When we visited on July 3, 2026, the cashier told us it might not be fixed for a few months.
