It may be even that shopping here as a youngster, I may have been influenced to enlist (which I did and served in two services, time in service 10+ years). Their prices are good, folks running the place are friendly and helpful. When it was finally my turn, the employee refused to even run the California ammo eligibility check on my driver's license. The reason? My license shows my city as "Rancho Cucamo" instead of spelling out "Rancho Cucamonga." This is a standard DMV abbreviation because the full city name is too long to fit on the license. Instead of simply running the check and letting the system decide, the employee said he didn't want to process it because the city wasn't spelled out fully. Waiting that long just to be turned away for something printed by the DMV was extremely frustrating. I understand stores have to follow California laws, but refusing to even try the check after a two-hour wait felt unprofessional and like a waste of a customer's time. Hopefully Bass Pro Shop improves training and customer service at the ammo counter so others don't have to deal with the same experience.

Their products are primarily targeted for military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, firefighters or serious outdoor survivalists. I have purchased several items from 5.11 since its early inception due to my long years of service in the USMC from 1998 to 2007. Many of the gear I have from 5.11 have endured the test of time, combat and rough terrain. Today, I still purchased their products since they also have a wide choice of urban, city wear with unique and versatile use.

When we mentioned cleats, he said he would let them know we were on our way. When we got to shoes, they were busy, so we were not greeted. But we were helped in a timely manner. This will be the perfect self defense weapon in my RV since we will be traveling for 2 months this summer going across the entire country with multiple states (that have different gun laws) This weapon is legal in all 50 and is not considered a fire arm though it looks like one (and probably will feel like one too briefly for a bad guy).
