What a classy, relaxing shopping experience! I was walking around in the beautiful weather yesterday and felt like I was in a movie with the light jazz music in the background, pretty lit up "BLOOM" flower sign photo op, comfy benches and patio chairs, and a wide variety of shops. The sidewalks are always so clean and even at night, I feel safe here. Parking can at times be a little difficult to come by, but the large angled spots are spacious. There are some great dining options that you don't see everywhere (although Ted's has been lackluster in the past), plus treat options like the famous Munson's, to give you a break to refuel on your shopping spree. This is a great place to catch up with friends or just get some errands done in a more relaxed and glamorous environment than an indoor mall. read more

Love the Promenade shops and restaurants. They keep The quality high and I enjoy all the places the shopping area has to offer. I love just walking through it . I will miss Stonewall Kitchen which has just left. I enjoyed that store a lot. I frequent massage envy for facials and massages. Alia for facials and Becki for massages. I hope I can get in now that I have recommended them. I love Burtons fantastic quality and menu and since I am gluten free it offers so much for me. I enjoy Ted Montana's a lot. I love their bison burgers, hot fries and the salmon dinner are my go to's . There are so many wonderful shops that offer great service. The JCrew factory outlet is fab. Hill is a staple for me. I appreciate the staff at Lense Crafters and get all my glasses there. So much to offer. It's a gem! read more

Nice outdoor strip mall with restaurants. It's clean and great to bring your dogs. There's a small park at one end with a fountain but the fountain is not functioning. Could use more variety of stores. A lot of stores have left and their spaces were never filled so it looks a little bare. There are great restaurants in at Evergreen and that's why I primarily go here plus a few of my favorite stores. There's fire pits to sit around at night while eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream. During the holidays it is beautifully lit up. Depending on the store and their sakes, you could get great deals. I can't wait for The Gap Factory to come here! The stores also do a nice trick or treating event for the kids so it's a safe community for the children. The street parking front of stores is limited but they have plenty of of parking in the lots behind each establishment. read more

I really enjoy coming to this mall whenever I'm in town. I love the majority of the shops that are here, and I like that it's clean and a place where I can relax. It's very well kept and even the restrooms are spotless. What I really like is that now during the time of Covid, the restaurants have arranged outdoor seating in a way where people can still enjoy a good meal safely. Some of the stores you'll find here are: Christopher & Banks (really nice womens clothes here) Anthropologie White house Black Market William and Sonoma LL Bean J Jill (also has nice womens clothes) Chicos Stonewall kitchen Sephora Hallmark paper store and so much more that I can't remember off the top of my head. It's very festive this time of year! Christmas music is piped through speakers throughout the property, lots of lights, a huge Christmas tree (because who wants to go all the way to NYC!), and a large fire pit to warm up by. What I love about evergreen walk is that the stores are for everyone, pets included. It's beautiful and exquisite, the music follows you where ever you go. It definitely has an upscale feel to it. Some of the restaurants have patio seating and some others have a fire pit.. no matter the season it's always enjoyable. Few of my fav stores that I mainly come for are the cupcakes shop (taste by spellbound), olive a lil where I buy cheese and seasonings, pier one..Sometimes I come here just to talk a walk. I've been to some of the events they have year round ...summer concerts, movies, Halloween walks - OMGosh there must have been like 1000 trick or treaters & totters out that day... was very festive. read more

Perfect place to stroll and shop... visited the Apple Store and then Stonewall Kitchen. Absolutely loved Stonewall Kitchen! There are so many more varieties and flavors of different products to view in person than in the catalog. The 2 women who work here are so welcoming and friendly! My daughter and I did not want to leave and definitely assured them with the commitment that we would be regular customers from now on! I loved the set up of the store ( my phone storage was full so I couldn't take pics) but there is a test kitchen right on the floor and a beautiful home inviting one at that, not one of those stainless steel industrial set ups, actual cabinets and stoves, sink, etc as if you were in your own kitchen. Love it here, it worth the travels, drive and time. I have yet to try all the eateries and other stores. Have been to Burtons Grill several times and it's delicious there as well. My friend's aunt suggested we check out shopping center. I am so glad she did! We were lucky to have nice weather this past weekend. What better place to walk around and shop. This shopping center is peppered with high end stores with your traditional mall doll stores like Claire's and Justice. There is something for everyone. Plenty of choices for food. Just a really gorgeous walk on a nice day. I love dogs and I met so many that day. This place is very dog friendly. Parking can get tight on the weekend. We were lucky to find a spot in an over flow parking lot. My favorite part is the cozy fire pit outside of Ben and Jerry's. It was magical to just chill out and talk in front of the fire. Def check out this shopping center if you are in CT! FYI - Bonefish Grill is closed there. read more

The atmosphere is California-esque, with relaxing music piped in, wide sidewalks, beautiful displays in all the store windows. However, the prices everywhere are so steep, a bank loan mat be a good idea if you want make any purchases or dine in at the many fine restaurants. I toured the shops at evergreen walk when it first opened, in 2014 approximately. I enjoyed the surroundings. The one and only purchase I decided on was at Occitaine, a fragrance and soap company from France. I got solid honeysuckle perfume purse size. Still have it! Still smells beautifully! The Shops at Evergreen Walk are a SUPER alternative to the indoor Buckland Mall in Manchester. The shopping is just a few stoplights away, and so much nicer. As an outdoor shopping plaza, there is ample parking near whichever store you are trying to be close to. Restaurants include Sakura, Burtons, Bellinis, Johnny Rockets, Pinkberry, and more, so there is always something for everyone. While the retails stores run a bit higher end, expect to pay a pretty penny for your goods, but you can find a really nice variety of options. Nice lifestyle mall, I like that you don't have to go thru a big building to get to your destination store. Fun events in a common area (concerts, food truck festivals, etc). Some stores and restaurants have been there since it opened, but there seems to be frequent turnover, so check their website before busing if you want a specific store or restaurant. This is a great place to walk and shop as long as it is not raining. Nice lay out with plenty of parking in the back. Parking on the main drag is limited and difficult to get out of with the oncoming traffic. The shops are arranged well and there is plenty of room to walk. I love how malls put all the main st usa stores out of business, then developers turn around and create the same effect with a "new outdoor mall". ok then, getting off my soapbox, all the stores here are expensive. Ted's used to be good but my last experience there was medicore at best for the price. The only thing worth a visit is Johnny Rocket's (old school burger joint, yummy milkshakes) and Christopher&Banks (shopping for mom/aunts/gramma - not me) Indoor malls were created for places like connecticut so that when it is cold/rainy you can stil shop. Numerous times I have found myself ducking out of here early because of the weather. read more

So happy to have this shopping center so close! They have a great selection for retail therapy and some of the better chain restaurants. But the major draw for me is 1) they have a Chico's (I'm so addicted to their stuff it's not even funny); and 2) I can bring my dog(s) with me shopping! Get out of town! Shut the front door! I come from a pretty darn dog-friendly city (Portland, OR), but there are only a few places one can bring their dog. Here, in beautiful South Windsor, CT, I can get my Chico's fix AND spend some quality time with my favorite pooch! SOLD! I have a recently-adopted rescue miniature pinscher with separation anxiety, so not having to leave her alone while I did my holiday shopping was a blessing. I came here specifically because I could bring Rhody. Stores were clearly marked as to whether dogs were allowed. All the employees (and the other customers!) were so welcoming. I spent about 1 1/2 hours and was able to get some really nice gifts, and Rhody had a nice stroll.. Plenty of places to sit, eat, spend money, and enjoy time out with your pooch. Beautiful in the summer evening to just stroll up and down. The lighted trees, music in the background adds to the ambiance. They updating some sections so there is some construction but still wonderful. They hold summer concerts in the summer on Thursday evenings. Concerts are free and family-friendly, with food trucks for a quick bites or bring your own picnic dinner. It's always fun to see the local bands and we enjoyed the evening. While some shops are closed, hopefully they will bring other stores. Overall it's a beautiful shopping area. read more

This place has all my faves, Including LLBean, Williams Sonoma, Brookstone, L'Occitane, Kirklands Home, Omaha Steaks, Stonewall Kitchens, Country Curtains, etc etc etc!!! Not to mention 3 very Fine (5 star, IMHO) Restaurants: Burtons, Bellini's and Ted's Montana...see my individual reviews of those. Plus some lesser restaurants like Johnny Rockets (this particular one is not the greatest, not sure if I have reviewed it yet, standby if not!) LOL They also have a Starbucks (yay) and to cap it all off, one of the most amazing Gourmet Markets, Highland Park (see my review of that). If you have not yet been here, rush out now. It has brought such a refinement and excitement to the very hub-bub, boring, ancient Buckland Hills area! Evergreen Walk is a nice little outdoor shopping area in between Manchester and South Windsor. Dog-friendly, Evergreen is great for strolling. Whether it be an after-lunch walk or with ice-cream in hand, you can leisurely span the entire promenade in about 15-30 minutes. Shopping wise, it's a small collection of national specialty brands and restaurants. As a guy, It's tough to shop here. Most recently though, they added a Carhartt store to even out the shopping experience. Brooks Brothers, J.Crew, and Gap are ok but if I'm being honest, I only ever come to Evergreen Walk for L.L. This is a great looking mall. Great place to walk. It is an outside mall. I'm not sure if they have a lot of business in the winter. I have seen these malls in Las Vegas and Oklahoma City. Even the winters there, keep people away. Some of the shops were very expensive. I was there on Veterans Day and really didn't see many deals. That may be because I am frugal. There are some shops that you will not find at the Holyoke Mall or Enfield. For instance, they have a Soma. I have been obsessed with this store. They also have an LL Bean There are a few sit down restaurants. I actually ate at one of them. It wasn't to busy. I may go back to this mall when the weather is better. I most likely won't buy anything though. read more

This is one of my absolute favorite places to shop in CT. What is not to love about this outdoor shopping area? Fabulous restaurants, great stores, and it's even (little) dog friendly! There is something here for everyone at this shopping center. LL Bean, Highland Park Market, Green Tangerine Spa, Gap, Anthropologie, Brooks Brothers, Brookstone, etc. There's plenty to eat here too: Ted's Montana Grill, Burton's Grill, Johnny Rocket's, Sakura Garden, Bellini's, Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, etc. There is ample parking, even in the busy holiday season. Nothing gets me in more of a holiday mood than shopping here. There is holiday music pumped throughout the place and it is decorated beautifully. read more

A nice, elegant, and upscale shopping area. Really nice stores here, including my favorites: L'Occiataine en Provence, Old Navy, Pottery Barn, Charming Charlie, and Pinkberry. It's also (somewhat) dog friendly; Leaps & Bones is a store just for pets and you can take your dog right inside! I went in there with a friend and her Belgian Shepherd. I even ended up buying some homemade peanut butter cookie treats for my own dogs. I've never seen their tails wag faster. :) Overall, a very nice shopping center, if on the pricey side. But you don't even need to spend a lot of money; I don't. I usually just grab a froyo from Pinkberry and window shop, or (in the winter) sit around the nice bonfire. Good times. read more

These type of outdoor malls are more prevalent in the LA area where they take advantage of southern California's more temperate climate. I'm an outdoorsy type of person so I like them a lot, regardless of whether I'm walking in 80 degree weather or walking through 8 inches of snow. I'll take them any day over a stuffy concrete indoor malls where there's no windows and you can't tell if it's day time or night time outside. If indoor malls had slot machines and black jack tables they would make perfect casinos. This mall has a decent mixture of retail shops and a few anchor restaurants. The number of shops could be a little more plentiful and the parking could be a little more convenient, but all in all the place works. I wish more outdoor malls were built in CT but I'm afraid many nutmeggers are a little too thin skinned so the chance of another Evergreen Walk popping up elsewhere is probably not going to happen. read more

A great addition to the South Windsor / Manchester area. A bunch of high end shops along with the other standards (Crew, Banana, & Anthropologie). A nice staple of restaurants too, especially fir adults after shopping. All in all a great addition to this area to get a reprieve from the standard mall format. read more

I love shopping at Evergreen even if I don't get anything. It reminds me of the malls that you see out in Califorina, where everything is outdoors and its nice to walk around and relax. Either get a cup of Starbucks or some Coldstone ice cream and enjoy your time. To me this seems to be what Blueback Square was modled off of, except now done as well. The parking is so much better at Evergreen and the choice of stores is better as well. I also love how they have the benches around for you to sit and relax. Its much nicer in the summer than the winter, but on a nice winter day it can be nice. I have also heard rumors they may be expanding it, but I don't know if thats true or not. read more

I'll admit it; I only come here so I can bring my dog and to visit Anthropologie. Recently, while my Maltese was in therapy dog training, the entire class took a field trip here. The stores were extremely accommodating allowing the 20+ dogs in and out of all the stores. The signs on the windows were extremely helpful (these tell you whether to pick up your small dog in the store or whether all dogs are allowed in on a leash). I was surprised that of all the stores, LL Bean did NOT allow dogs, yet, J.Crew with low hanging cashmere sweaters allowed all dogs inside. I was very impressed with Ted's restaurant; they allowed my dog inside the fenced patio area so I could enjoy a cocktail. Overall, the shops have a good variety of stores, but they are in need of more caffeine stops / outdoor casual dining that also allow dogs. read more

This is a fantastic place to shop if you're in the Hartford area. They seriously have something for everyone: LL Bean, Williams-Sonoma, Anthropologie, Omaha Steaks, Munson's Chocolates, Charming Charlie. If you're looking for a place to eat, the restaurant selection is wide, too: Ted's Montana Grill, Bonefish, Sakura Garden, Moe's. This place is awesome,a little far for me but so worth the trip. It's a trillion billion times better than the Westbrook outlets and Clinton crossing. With that said, this place is not an outlet but is set up like one. Parking style makes way more sense than the two others mentioned above. They have way better stores....pottery barn,William Sonoma,Omaha steaks, LL Bean,pier one. And places to eat also much better, Teds Montana grill, bonefish grill, grounds are cleaner and prettier. Not only does this place have great restaurants and stores it is extremely dog friendly!!!! This is amazing and I have never ever seen anything like this. All the stores have a sticker on the window telling you if they allow dogs to enter by leash or carried. Almost every store allows the dogs inside one way or another. Dasher, my Boston Terrier had his first shopping experience in a Hallmark. Definitely go if you have a dog. Most stores have water bowls outside as well. I wish Blue Back and many others copied this idea. I will be shopping there more because of it. read more
