I thought this place was very good. Our waiter was so attentive and friendly. I guess I learned I need to stack my bowl higher to get all the goods hahah nonetheless I will be back! The raw meat sitting out gave me the ick but that's ok..that's just me hahaha

A Difficult Update After Many Visits of Loyalty As a former restaurant owner, I understand better than most how hard it is to run a consistent, allergy‑safe kitchen. I also know how devastating it feels when a place you've trusted gets it wrong. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened on my most recent visit. We had been loyal guests for quite some time, and our last few meals were genuinely excellent. I always follow the same routine: I fill out the allergy alert card, place it clearly with my dish, and trust the kitchen to take it seriously. This time, something went very wrong. Whether the card was overlooked or the line simply got careless, my plate arrived visibly cross‑contaminated with ingredients from the very category listed on my allergy card. I didn't catch it immediately. It wasn't until after the first bite--when my lips started tingling like they were on fire--that I looked down and saw the problem. That moment of realization is something you don't forget. The manager handled the situation with sincerity and apologized right away. They offered to remake the dish, which I appreciated, but it took another twenty minutes. By the time it arrived, my friends had already finished their meals, and I was left eating alone while feeling anxious about whether the replacement was truly safe. Once trust is shaken like that, it's hard to settle back in. I'm genuinely disappointed to be writing this. We used to love this place, and I know mistakes happen--but for guests with allergies, mistakes aren't small. They're frightening. Right now, I'm hesitant to return, and that's not something I say lightly. I hope they take this as an opportunity to tighten their allergy protocols, because the food has always been good. But safety has to come first.

We have been here several times and are thrilled to have a Mongolian grill in town. You are able to get in and out pretty quickly, dependent upon what you order. They have a full menu but are known for their grill items. If you choose to do the Mongolian grill, you will be given a small bowl that you pack with noodles, veggies, and spices of your choosing You build your own bowl and they essentially stir-fry your meat and veggie choices in the carb and sauces of your choice. At your table before heading up to the grill bar, you will choose white, brown, or fried rice for them to put at the bottom of your finished bowl. Note-if you want noodles, this is added by you in your uncooked bowl and takes up quite a bit of your space. Try to add these on the top, if there's not too much of a line. When there's no line, I like to put my proteins in the bowl first, lining the bottom with shrimp and making a wall around the sides with chicken and pork. I then load in all of my veggies and press them down as I go. If you want them to fry an egg, place it on your tray next to the bowl. I recommend 3-4 cups of sauces on the side for max flavor. I like Mongolian sauce, a mixture of teriyaki and general tso's, and a cup of chili oil and garlic mixture. I also sprinkle on top of my uncooked bowl: garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder, and a touch of fresh cilantro. We have also tried sushi, crab rangoons, and spring rolls. We would get only the spring rolls again. We do wish that they have a guide for sauce mixtures, as other Mongolian grills often have and I wish they offered noodles instead of rice as your carb base. Service is fast and efficient and the pricing is fair...especially because we always have leftovers, even with the smaller lunch bowl.

The name says it all, Yummy Bowl! Finally a good Mongolian place in Knox! You sit down but once you decide, the server gives you a bowl to take up the counter, then the fun begins. All the veggies, meat, and sauces you can think of to pile on. I wasn't as thrilled with the sushi, and had a simple California roll and spicy shrimp roll, but overall balanced along the gamut. Our server, Amber, was great too! Yummy is right!

Love the concept and great food. Once you figure out how to load your food in the bowl it all comes out wonderful. I skip the rice and load up on noodles and then the meats. Shrimp and chicken. Add some of your special items and then on the sample the sauces you like. Mongolian and dragon combined to make a good mix. Will be back in a regular basis here.

I absolutely love Yummy Bowl and was so excited to find this location on a work trip. Service was very friendly and checked in often. All the ingredients on the buffet line were fresh and stocked.

Arrived at 3:10 but lunch prices ended at three which is 1599 but only two dollars more for the same thing for the dinner price. Very good food that felt the prices could've been a little bit lower.

So it was our first time here and we loved it. The sever helped out to make sure we know how to get the bowls and the way everything works. The sever shalaina was amazing she suggested the crab Ragoon to start with which was perfect I didn't get a picture of it but I would get it again. My bowl I had a few different things in there it was cooked perfectly I also add an order of lo mein noodles on the side. I will be coming back again definitely must try if you haven't tried it before

I decided to give this place a try after driving by several times. I decided to try both the sushi and the Mongolian BBQ. sushi was excellent quality, and while a bit more pricey than other places of similar quality, it was delicious. For the Mongolian BBQ, you are given a bowl that you are allowed to fill as much as you wat with meat, rice, noodles, and vegetables. as long as the ingredients fit in or on top of the bowl you are allowed to have it. lots of delicious sauces to choose from and you can taste them before selecting them. you give the small bowl to the staff after you fill it with everything and they cook it to order and deliver it to your table. it was absolutely delicious. great service by the server too. definitely will be back!

oh hello gorgeous bowl! this was so fun and there were so many options so id love to go back to make a new bowl. service was great and attentive.

One of our bowl creations - small amount of rice is under everything. Would recommend getting it on the side.

The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and I believe there's also a bar area. We were seated right away, which was a great start. Their menu has a little bit of everything, from appetizers and gumbo to customizable seafood boils with different seasoning and spice options. Before our meal, they brought out their cheesy crab bread, and unfortunately I didn't snap a picture because we all devoured it within minutes. It was that good! I ordered a half pound of crawfish, a half pound of snow crab legs, and a lobster tail with the Cajun seasoning, "Make It Hot." Everything was delicious! The snow crab legs were packed with flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the lobster tail--it was incredibly meaty, buttery, and cooked perfectly. The boil also came with sausage, corn, and potatoes, making it a hearty meal. I also have to give a shoutout to our server, Amanda. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. She checked on us often, cleared the table as we finished, and gave great recommendations when we had questions about the menu. If I ever find myself back in Tennessee, I'd definitely come back to Storming Crab!

They also took my allergies seriously. Only issues were the "poached" eggs on one dish were very soft boiled and the other dish was halfway to soft boiled. No runny yolk on either dish. Just wish the eggs were cooked correctly and the crab cakes were hot and tasted a bit fresher. The free birthday dessert and card were wonderful touches and the breakfast "bread" was so lovely. We've had a very poor experience at the downtown location and this one was much better. Better ambience, better service, better staff.

Our waiter immediately took care of it and went above and beyond by having an entire new meal prepared for me. Even more impressive, my meal was completely comped, and we were offered a free dessert while we waited for the replacement meal. The manager also personally stepped in multiple times to check on us and make sure everything was taken care of. You could tell that customer satisfaction wasn't just something they talked about -- it was genuinely important to them. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. What really separates a great restaurant from the rest is how they respond when something goes wrong. Connor's handled it with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine concern. I especially want to compliment the entire team for maintaining that old-school charm of taking care of the customer and making things right. Parking is limited right around the building itself, but there is plenty behind it - just keep driving a few more feet, and you'll see it. The service has been generally great, but our last trip was a bit of a miss - I suppose the difference between brunch/lunch and dinner service. I believe part of the reason was that our 2.5 YO kiddo was ruining the vibe for couples (and the staff as well). If you don't want kids there, then say so. And even if you didn't say it with your words, your actions did. Part of this showed up when we were trying to get a high chair for what felt like 5 minutes - I could see i,t and they went to seat others and had us wait...which created squirming and an unhappy kiddo. After this point, all of the ordering we tried to do in this same sitting was met with a mostly poor attitude and delays from not coming over. The food was delayed and was cold. Again, not going to fight for it and have to wait longer with a little with us. We've not been back since this, and I'm unsure we will try again with a kid. Now that this is out of the way, the dinner experience is night and day different - great service, food, and drinks with little to no issues. So, TL;DR - dinner experience 5/5, lunch/brunch experience 3/5, taking the average of 4 for a 4/5.
