Over the years, I've had about four different dental hygienists, all of whom were extremely personable and skilled. My current hygienist, Cerena, is no exception...she is both personable and meticulous in her work. She has an uncanny ability to understand her patients even through their mumbling, which is a rare, but appears to be a talent that this staff has mastered. The office atmosphere is another highlight. The contemporary and alternative music playing in the background always brings back great memories, making each visit feel a little more enjoyable. Switched dental insurance plans and also changed dentists to The Silberman Dental Group and today was my "inaugural" appointment to start off with them. If first impressions are lasting impressions and the ones that count the most, they scored a grand slam! From the moment I stepped into the reception area, I felt very welcomed by the friendly people who greeted me (I was offered coffee, tea, or sparkling water). And from the dental technician who took x-rays, ran some tests, and cleaned my teeth; to the doctor who looked at everything afterwards and gave me her thoughts on what she saw and discussed with the technician; and, finally, to up front again when it was time to leave -- simply outstanding. As far as the facility and equipment, wow...everything and everywhere looked super clean. I liked the modern, attractive spaces and the equipment looked new and state-of-the-art. I was very impressed with the whole staff! I have always had a phobia about going to the dentist because of past experiences, ( I would have a death grip on the chair when I went!) Not anymore. I had a great experience starting with Michelle who booked my appointment and took care of my Insurance details She was extremely friendly and very helpful. The moment I walked into the well laid out office, I felt very comfortable everyone was friendly.I didn't have to wait a long time I was very impressed with the state of the art equipment in this office. Dr. Silberman is a very calming, caring and knowledgeable dentist. We were referred to him when my youngest son required extensive dental work. He was great and my son's are not afraid of the dentist like their mother the dental wimp. That being said I found myself in need of some dental work and was referred to another dentist by my dentist. I was not pleased at all. I was so turned off that I did not go back. I called and made an appointment with Dr. Silberman, I was seen right away and am now waiting for my antibiotics to kick in so that I can go back and get what I need to have fixed, fixed. I recently went to Dr. Silberman, after years going to other dentists in the area. Dr. Silberman is truly the best dentist. He makes you feel comfortable from the minute you meet him. He shows empathy, humility as well as an immediate warmth. And most importantly, you feel as if you are the only person he is focused on while you are in the office. Best dentist and office staff! The waiting room and treatment areas are very clean and welcoming and the wait time is nonexistent. I had a root canal done and my daughter had cavities in her front teeth fixed (her regular dentist didn't feel comfortable doing them and Dr. Silberman had them done with no problem) and we both couldn't have been happier. I would like to relay a story. I was sitting in the reception area and overheard two women talking. Dr. Silberman is one of the best dentist I've ever had! He really makes you feel comfortable and explains the entire process to you while he's doing the procedure.
