However I think the croissant which is a crescent-shaped, flaky, and buttery French pastry with origins in Vienna, Austria is the ROCK STAR item served. When I strolled in I saw fresh baked cookies sheets of fresh baked & multiple types of croissants. So it's obvious I ordered several and fell in love. One of the best croissants I've ever had and I've eaten them in France in the caffès. Flaky , moist and that buttery takes burst through my body. Needless to say I'M COMING BACK. Oh keep an eye out for the hybrid cookie/croissant which I did post a photo of so look for it. Part croissant with chocolate chip cookies oozing out the middle. Now the owner greeted us upon entering. Super friendly guy kinda reminded me of Peter Lorre the American actor from the epic movie CASABLANCA. Kelly is one of the best bakers in Southeastern Massachusetts. This is the only bakery whose desserts we actually dream of, especially the chocolate salted caramel cupcake and the blueberry lemon lavender cupcake. I was originally looking for a vegan cake to have at a surprise brunch party for my wife, but I'm so glad I came across someone who takes health, taste, and tradition so seriously. Tonya was in the middle of a huge launch with Uber eats, but she still graciously look the time to walk me through options from cupcakes to doughnuts. She even went into detail asking about what my wife likes to personalize a recipe which wound up being rum infused with a sugar crumb topping, with the added touch of fresh rose pedals which I've never seen before.
