This is an amazing hidden gem. We went in February, which is of course the off-season so the place was pretty much locals. Don't expect anything fancy-smancy, this was just a real down to earth place that seats about 40 people at tables with a diner style counter for nine. Everyone was super friendly. I've been following 3A about 6 months on Facebook and Instagram. Always blown away at the great looking dishes, and with being a fan of breakfast I knew it would only be a matter of time. Fathers Day with my wife was PERFECT Upon entering you're greeted with the ambiance of all around family style goodness. Service was great! Greeted with smiles and very good coffee as we were seated. Food was next level!!! They have signature hash browns that are insane. Blueberry pancakes were, for lack of a better word? Perfect. We flew into Boston and decided to drive to our destination, Plymouth, and find a breakfast place where the locals would eat. We found it at 3A! The lady serving us was very pleasant. Hugging her regulars as they entered and she was quick to get us seated. Not a big place, a scattering of tables throughout the likely 200+ year old building. So what about the food? Overall, a solid breakfast. I thought the steak was flavorful and I enjoyed their take on hash browns. Basically a fried potato pancake. The one downfall? Their bacon. It tasted like they stole it from the Continental breakfast at a local motel. If they read this, I am pleading with you, find a new source for your bacon. Thin and tasteless does not do your food justice. It really made the breakfast more like a 3.5. read more

OBSESSED! This is our go-to breakfast joint in downtown Plymouth. My family and I have been coming here for four years (at least). The food is out of this world, like insanely good. A lot of the breads are homemade by Jackie Maia - love her! The service is constantly top notch, food comes out so fast. if you're in the Kingston area, you would do well to stop by the 3A cafe. we stopped by on the way back home in the recommendation of a friend in Duxbury. We were told by the very competent waitress that they don't cater to allergies but the next thing I knew, she had the chef by my table asking questions and came up with a plan. This was actually my favorite meal during my brief trip to Massachusetts. Can you explain what the Third Amendment is? Not many can. It is the only one of the original Bill Of Rights that hasn't been used in a Supreme Court case, and is largely a relic of the time it was written. That said, the name is about the only historic gimmick to the place. Inside you'll find a diner quite full of locals, with a menu being your standard American diner fare as well as a handful of Greek dishes. I ordered a delicious breakfast wrap with eggs, peppers, onions, feta cheese and sliced beef. The beef was tender and juicy, cooked perfectly. Usually when I go to a new diner, I do a standard order to establish quality. But I wasn't in town long enough to do that, and I'm glad I ventured a bit out of the norm of what I would consider a standard breakfast. The serving sizes here are quite large so unless you have a large stomach, you probably don't need to order an appetizer. Coffee is hot and fresh. And if you're an accent-less Midwesterner like me, you'll be surrounded in a variety of Greek or Massachusetts accents. read more

My wife and I sat at the bar, we really enjoyed the servers and watching the kitchen. I had the New Yorker benedict (shaved corned beef, and sour kraut), my wife has the pastrami benedict (shaved black pastrami, onions, peppers, and mushroom). They were both out of this world good. They were gigantic and neither of us were able to finish. All four eggs were poached so perfectly. I had a side of sausage patties and they were cooked on the grill rather than the flat top and I have to say that made a huge difference in flavor. They had a great smoky grilled flavor that I had never had in breakfast sausage and now I think that's the only way to cook them.
