Omg this was the coolest experience! I found Jade through TikTok and immediately signed up for a TMJ Release Massage. I've always had TMJ over the years, I have a click in my jaw and always found my jaw and shoulders tense. So was really excited to try this out, I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what to expect. But right when I came jade was so warm and welcoming. She made me feel so comfortable! Before she started anything, she would educate me step by step which made me feel so at ease. She was able to pin point more of my tension I held in my right side of my jaw and shoulder. I had a HUGE knot in my right shoulder and her applying pressure to that side and massage it out made my other left side tingling! It was a super cool feeling and I could FEEL the RELIEF in my shoulders where I held so much tension. She also went in and massaged the inside of my cheek, it helped release the tension in my jaw! So i will say, while this massage is amazing and helps with relief and relaxation...it shouldn't be treated as a one solve to all your problems. Definitely coming consistently helps, but also your daily habits of posture and even using a stress ball to roll over knots in your shoulders also make a huge difference. I have struggled with TMJ pain for over ten years and have tried everything through my dentist and primary care doctor (mouth guards, medication, physical therapy). I have even tried buccal massage from another practitioner. I can say without a doubt that Jade's buccal/TMJ release massage was the most helpful by far!
