Mom and I came to the skinny pancake having seen it on the way to Trader Joes. I'm a big fan of crepes and it was lunchtime, but we were still able to order off the breakfast menu. I'll start off by saying that the staff was very nice. I told them it was our first time there and she sat us down, told us to look over the menu and then order at the counter when we were ready. We ended up sharing the breakfast monster crepe and also the eat your greens salad. I can honestly tell you that the eat your greens salad was one of the best salads I've had. its so simple but so delicious and packed full of flavor. The lettuce leaves were extremely fresh, and the dressing was homemade. The crepe was also good, not the best I've had but it was good. Honestly the winer for me was that salad. We also ordered some hot drinks and I was surprised to find that they have organic coffee, really good. and their honey is legit, not the fake stuff. I know some of the other reviews were complaining about the pricing on things but its obviously better quality as well. You can taste it for sure. I will say that the one thing I didn't like was the fact that the tables/chairs are so close together. We were sandwiched in between two families with children and it was really hard to relax. We had to listen to one family complain about not having gotten their crepe yet even though everyone else had gotten their food. I felt that if I even inched either to my right or left I would hit the person sitting on the other end. They need to configure the seating better. Otherwise, it's a great place, I'd definitely come back and maybe sit at a counter or a booth if I'm lucky. read more

I see allot of these restaurants popping up in the area--restaurants posing as luxury upscale, but only really in price. Ohh, they have crepes instead of toast--let's jack up the price--it's upscale now. The Hadley location has a nice, quiet atmosphere for dining in. The staff is very nice, the food is fresh, and they have real maple syrup for the crepes. The price and portion size is what I liked least. I got the Noah's ark, which sounds like it should be a pretty epic breakfast special, but when I actually received my plate there was barely any food on it. I think the addition of some hash browns on that plate would have made me feel better. read more

I visited with my daughter on a quiet Thursday afternoon. We walked in and up to the counter to look at the the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table and clean up when you are done. We ordered the smash burger with fries, chicken Caesar Wrap, Heartbreaker Crepe, and a chocolate shake. The Smash burger was great. I loved that the burger was not overly giant and it was very flavorful. They did not skimp on the sauce which I really appreciated! One of the best burgers I've had in a long time! I am really picky about fries and these were excellent. Next the Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was wrapped in a crepe instead of a tortilla. At first I was worried it might get soggy and fall apart as wraps often do, but it did not at all! I absolutely loved it. The salad inside was packed with fresh crisp lettuce, flavorful chicken, plenty of Parmesan, and some croutons. It was a pretty epic wrap! I also loved the side of pasta salad with fresh herbs. The heartbreaker was delicious! A sweet crepe with chocolate, strawberries and banana. We cleaned the plate! As for the chocolate shake, I can't review because my daughter had gulped it down before I could get a sip! So I'm guessing it was that good! i have been to 3 of the skinny pancake locations and they have been consistent in delivery of amazing crepes- specifically, the apples and brie crepe with blueberry compote is my favorite- so flavorful with the soft ripeness of brie cheese alongside the crunchy small sliced apple bits and warm blueberry sweetness...the perfect combination! chocomonkey was also yummy for a nice dessert/sweet treat! i'm not sure i would order again though because of the limited chocolate hazelnut filling inside. my fiancée ordered the burger and said it tasted like charcoal. i tasted the burger as well and it was completely dry. the fries on the other hand were nice and crispy and paired quite well with the side of chipotle sauce. we ordered ahead and the bag was ready for pick up in a timely manner- with that said, i did not have any direct interactions with the staff as we ordered online. it is a tighter space so we decided to take our food to go! read more

It's a nice environment. The feel is cozy and its smells nice. I was disappointed with the food and coffee though. The gluten free pancakes were supposed to be sweetened with cinnamon and sugar but they were thick, pasty and very plain with a dash of powdered sugar on top. The scrambled eggs were both blackened and still wet and a $15 breakfast with bacon came with 2 thin slices. The latte was 50% foam and $5. Overall we paid $54 and left hungry. No one checked on us once food was dropped and the servers were busy enough to not make eye contact so we could not pass feedback along in person. The Johnny Crepe with maple bbq pulled pork was the right balance of tangy and sweet. The Sugarshack and Lovemaker crepes were a brunch indulgence. The Chicken Caesar Wrap was bright and well-seasoned as was the herbed pasta side. The Espresso Milkshake was absolute favorite. How do you mess up a milk shake??!!!??? Iced coffee tasted like it was from the bottom of the batch and had beans in the bottom, again poor. The bacon egg and cheese crepe was the one highlight of the meal. Service - poor. One lady at the front was in charge of taking orders, cleaning some tables, seeing what tables were available, etc. the line moved terribly slow and it took us roughly 30 minutes to be seated and our orders taken. The lady at the counter was the only one doing work while countless workers were lollygagging around back. Price - over priced like crazy absolutely not worth the money. Wow! The Skinny Pancake Is absolutely delicious! The inside is beautiful, with wood and barn boards, it is so comfy and cozy inside! I got a Deja Vu, A savory crepe with sausage, MA apples, Cabot Cheddar Cheese and eggs. My brother got the Noah's Ark with eggs, choice of meat and two mini cinnamon sugar crepes. They all tasted amazing, and had great flavor and texture. They also have a bar inside facing the windows, all made of wood with cute little chairs! The service here is great, with all the staff being very nice, they just did a soft opening today, and wow I can tell this place has a bright future! Their slogan is "Love Local" Which Is super nice.
