If you're a sandwich person like me, Taste is an absolute win. I stopped in recently to the Town…read moreCenter location and grabbed the Northender sandwich for later that day and haven't stopped thinking about it since. It's loaded with honey smoked turkey, hardwood smoked bacon, Havarti, avocado, romaine, tomato, and basil mayo all on fresh French bread. Basically the perfect balance of savory, fresh, and just indulgent enough. Every bite hit. I also grabbed the Shakedown Street smoothie (banana, chocolate whey protein, peanut butter, and oat milk), and it was such a good call. It felt like a treat but still filling and energizing, especially if you're grabbing something on the go. Speaking of grab-and-go, that's one of my favorite parts about this place. There are so many options, whether you need a quick lunch, snacks for the week, or something easy to bring to a friend's house when they're hosting. It's the kind of spot that makes you look like you planned ahead, even if you didn't. Also worth mentioning: their wine selection is huge!! You could easily pop in just to pick up a bottle (or a few), and there's something for every taste and price point. And I have to shout out the pimento cheese. It is seriously so good. I could eat the entire container. Creamy, flavorful, and a must-try if you're browsing their prepared items. I usually go to the shore drive location, but I enjoyed this one as well. I will be back!

Looks like a good place to: -grab a bite (pre-made or made fresh) -grab a beverage -buy a bottle of wine or bubbly (forgot to check for NA options) -get snacks as a gift or for yourself Most of the brands were unfamiliar to me so I can't tell you what's good/not good. However based on the offerings I can say it's worth stopping by. My hotel, The Westin (see that review) was up the block and had I stayed longer I could see myself actually trying something here. They have limited seating on the main level, but lots more upstairs.

Being an introvert, alone time is the best time and I'm sure a few extroverts would agree. Let's see how the visit went. Walking inside, everything was well put together. The library is a bit small with only one floor but there are a few tables and areas for using your computer. There are also private rooms if you need to spend time away from the public. And prior to the main entrance, there's a room where you can have a semi-conference and do presentations, which I saw one on the way to be seated. Also, in various areas, they had some artwork I assume from local artists or maybe students. Not bad. For the most part, the noise level was quiet to average while I read my book in peace. Definitely not an hour or so wasted for much needed private time. The next I'm in the area for an event, I'll be sure to stop by again.

I received an email notification that my library card was about to expire. I headed in to renew my card and decided to roam around and see what kinds of resources were available that may apply to the population I work with or anyone I know who could benefit. It's awesome that they have toys available to borrow , along with items to keep one's mental state sharp. They even have a take a puzzle leave a puzzle section if you're into that sort of thing which also helps out with the environment. I posted pictures of a lot of the fliers and handouts they had available as examples of the info they provide. They have a seed library so you can plant a garden.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by T. who was incredibly nice and helpful. I let her know this was my first time visiting and asked for a few recommendation. After asking about my flavor preferences, she recommended that I try the Vietnamese coffee or the salted coffee. I decided to order the Vietnamese coffee along with a beef Spring roll. The coffee was excellent, strong and well-balanced. The spring roll was fresh and delicious. My only suggestions would be to include less ice in the drink and to use shaved beef instead of thinly sliced beef in the spring roll. I enjoyed my first experience so much that I returned for a second visit. This time, I tried the Peach Black Tea and a croffle with strawberry sauce. Based on T's recommendation, I adjusted the tea's sweetness, and it was very refreshing, with the sliced peaches being a great addition. The croffle was okay, I missed the sweet sugar crust typically found on them. The Strawberry sauce was also a miss for me. I found it to be very watery, more like a syrup made for a drink vs a dessert topping. Overall, I had a wonderful visit on both occasions and really appreciated T's excellent customer service and recommendations. I would 100% recommend stopping in and I look forward to returning again soon.

It was my first time here, so I asked one of the ladies some questions while I was ordering. She was very helpful and friendly with recommending her favs. I ordered a Caramel and Toasted marshmallow frappe (8/10) it was pretty good and a Breakfast sandwich (9/10) it had ham, egg, and cheese; the cheese was melty and the croissant was nice and flaky. I def see myself retuning soon; I wanna try their seasonal flavors before they get switched as well as some of their pastries. My overall rate of experience : 8.5/10

When we were there, a group of young Moms were enjoying coffee as their Children enjoyed a play area just steps away from their Moms. The atmosphere was welcoming with pictures of the Old Ocean View Amusement park which was like a walk down memory lane for this Norfolk girl having spent many days at the park as a young child. A very pleasant employee greeted us as we arrived. I chose the S'mores latte which was absolutely phenomenal, as was the snickerdoodle cookie. The egg scramblers in the display case looked so good, we got those to take home with us. I will definitely be returning to this gem. On the way out I noticed a water bowl just outside the front door for dogs. Great coffee and pet friendly, who could ask for more?
