It's soo cool! The service was fast. Inside the decore is modern and cool. I thought the "Wall of Patches" was pretty cool! They have shirts, hats and other items you can also purchase. I chose to get an egg and chorizo burrito and a black coffee. The coffee was OK and the burrito hit the spot. They had some seasonal sandwiches that said they were new up front when I ordered that looked more filling. They have a "happy hour" for smoothies where you buy one and get one free which is a great deal - so my husband and I may come back to try that some time. Ok, now this is some gooood coffee! Very strong and bold. They had a lot of syrups to choose from to make your own flavor if you want. However, the syrups are not homemade. So that's a bum but it doesn't take away how good the coffee is. They also sell merch and their brand coffee, beans and coffee. I like they break down the coffee profile too, well thought out. Saw this place one day when I was on the way to an appointment then got a mailer of coupons from them randomly the next day. Figured it was a sign to check it out!! Cute military vibe! Perfect for this area. Military articles for purchase. I even noticed two patrons had service dogs with them, which is great that they allow this! Whenever I've never tried a place, I always ask the servers to give me the 2 most popular items. Not only was the waitress accommodating but she was super friendly, offering customizable option to the local favorites. Superb coffee fix during my visit to Virginia Beach. I drove past Black Rifle Coffee Company once and knew I had to come back the next time I was in the area. I ordered an Iced Honey Latte with Cinnamon (an ode to one of my go-to drinks to the now-closed Augie's in SoCal). While the taste was much bolder compared to Augie's, I actually enjoyed it. The brew was bold, the honey gave it a bump of sweetness, and the cinnamon gave it just the right amount of spice to start my morning. Of course, I had to come back the following day and order a second iced coffee. The baristas were great. They asked if I wanted to make a donation for veterans so, of course, I said, "Yes!" Meeting up with a former classmate she suggested this place since she's never been and heard great things about. I walked in and immediately felt at home, the place is spectacular. They have merchandise for veterans when you enter, with a strong emphasis on supporting the brave men and women of our Armed Services. I almost forgot what I was there for cause the entire place had so much to offer the eyes. Finally I made it to the counter and saw the vast menu of drinks and food being offered. I thought to myself this place is going to take over the country one day. I had a strawberry smoothy, since I don't drink coffee, and a sausage egg and cheese croissant. I heard of their company from a co-worker who subscribes to their coffee but never tried it. I stumbled upon their shop while in town looking up where to go for coffee that isn't Statbucks. I love local coffee shops and this is unique as from the internet there isn't a lot of their shops, mostly online orders. I am in the Navy and am happy to support a veteran owned company. The barista asked if I'm military and I said yes and she gave me the discount, which was nice. On top of that, the prices are reasonable compared to San Diego, where I'm coming from where prices would be 50 percent more. I ordered the spicy honey chai latte. Wow! I love the kick. I wonder if they put cayenne pepper in there. It is quite unique and I haven't found that in other coffee places so far. Plenty of space in the shop to sit and cute souvenirs (shirts, hats, coffee grinds and beans, keurig cups). I'm coming back again before I fly out to order another drink and maybe get some beans. We were in VA beach for a tournament and I had grand plans of trying out different coffee shops each day as I usually do, but we loved our drinks too much to steer away from other places. Drinks: * iced vanilla latte with vanilla cold foam, oatmilk: perfect milk to coffee ratio, really robust flavor and the vanilla notes were there without it being overpowering and sweet. You can choose any flavor to add on to the cold foam if you want. *Jet fuel - comes in cold brew draft form or a latte, can be hot or iced. This was pretty strong as the name suggests. It has an energy booster plus another 55grams of caffeine and an extra shot of espresso to the drink. My husband loves his and all his palpitations! LOL They have some quick bites and pastries and a storefront with clothes and beans before you get to the coffee counter at the back of the store. The baristas were very friendly and informative about their menu. Parking lot is their own and they even have a drive-thru. Great coffee spot in VA beach! On the evening of November 28, I made the stupid mistake of saying Grande instead medium when ordering my cold brew. I don't know if it's BRCC policy but rather than asking me what size I meant or going about it a respectful way. The attendee chose to interject and state that they only have small, medium and large and didn't acknowledge my order and asked me for to repeat it. I gave my order, got my coffee, tipped and rolled out. The reason why I have taken the time to leave a review. I come here anytime I can, I am confident they have the best cold brew in Hampton Roads. I am happily spend the $ and tip generously every time I come by. I understand the cost of living and everything-everywhere is increasing, however I will not continue to support establishments that can't maintain good consistent customer service. I love my coffee, preferably French press and pour over and of course espresso! And Black Rifle Coffee is one of my go-to coffee brands. I really like their Silencer Smooth and Beyond Black roasts. When they opened up a shop in Virginia Beach less than 15 minutes from me, I was so excited! But my first and only visit here recently left a bad impression on me. My roommate and I came here one morning last week for some coffee before work. We were both in our civies. I was wearing a pro-law enforcement "Hold the Line" shirt and he was rocking some retro-80's gym attire. We both enter the shop, big ass Asian guy and a light skin Caucasian-looking, Mountain Country boy from Colorado. I stand in front of the counter looking at the menu. Three associates looking back at me. Not even an acknowledgement or smile until I initiated a "good morning, how y'all doing?" and THEN I got a reply back. First red flag. I ordered a medium Nitro Cold Brew and paid for it and stepped off to the side to wait for the drink. My boy gets a box of Silencer Smooth, and the associate behind the counter asks him if he's military, law enforcement or first responder? And he goes "yeah". She didn't even ask to see his I.D., and just automatically gave him a military discount. And my friend and I lock eyes and we're both thinking the same thing, like, oh so F the Asian guy huh? Not gonna give him the same courtesy of even asking if he's possibly military or first responder? Just gonna assume? Well, my boy's straight up Mexican and Native American. But his complexion can just pass off as a white man. But okay...LOL Say less. Say less. I'm not calling anyone names or jumping to conclusions based off of one visit. That ain't fair. Parking lot is newly paved with lots of parking and easy access to drive thru. This coffee shop is akin to a Starbucks but a level better offering unique coffee roasts to purchase, lots of branded merchandise to look through. There are breakfast (all day) items. There is ample seating near a fireplace. Ambience is great. They offer a variety of breakfast all day items. The more popular are the egg bites (egg white option was sold out at 6:30pm on a Friday night when you think more patrons will come in later until they close at 9pm). They also ran out of rooster wrap and Caesar wraps - the only thing available was the sausage grenade which is like a sausage breakfast burrito but definitely bigger and better tasting than McDonald's 100%! They had branded to go bags and the sausage grenade (wrap) was warm. I also ordered matcha tea latte but they ran out of matcha too! That's the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars because they seem to be out of a lot of things. The chai latte was offered as an option so I ordered it. When my husband saw that BRCC was coming to town he was so excited. We stopped by after Sunday Mass. Good location of VA Bch Blvd, not far from the Newtown Rd exit of I-64, down the street from Town Center/Pembroke, close to all the furniture stores. Great to grab & go your fave pound of ground or whole bean coffee flavors. Don't worry there's a cheat sheet for that. You can also order an iced or hot drink. There have a food menu too. They also carry Liquid Death canned water. Decent amount of merch. Dine in, order to go or drive through. Easy to navigate the parking lot. I ordered a white mocha coffee and it was good, not roasted bitter like some 'other place'. the Hot Honey Sausage Biscuit had just the right amount of Honey on the biscuit. Not messy, at least for me. My husband ordered the Sauage Grenade, which is a big ass burrito and mocha coffee. This was our first visit, definitely not our last. read more

Nice new addition to the area. They offer discounts for a service personnel and emergency responders. The shop is located on the corner with a newly paved driveway and only one way around the shop. You cannot bypass the drive thru on the opposite side so be mindful of that if you want to go around that area to avoid VB Blvd traffic. The interior is well laid out with a great selection of coffees and merch of all kinds - shirts, sweaters, hats, beanies, mugs, etc. The menu area is nice and well lit with a rotating menu board with promo details. Be mindful that the font for the drink selections are not easy to read nor are there descriptions for the food items. They have a great selection of hot and cold coffee drinks and you can order tea or lemonade. I ordered a large chat tea latte with white mocha syrup. They did not have a list of flavors but if you ask they'll tell you, but no sugar free options mentioned. The coffee had a great chai spice taste and the cup was huge for a large. This is a pretty good coffee shop. I ordered a Breakfast Croissant. It was definitely delicious. I also ordered a small surprise me blended coffee. The girl behind the register definitely surprised me with something very delicious. She made me a 2oz blended coffee with whipped cream, whole milk, white mocha sauce, half white mocha, and half raspberry. I recommend trying this drink or if you're even more brave, ask for a surprise me drink (I have never been disappointed with any of my surprise me food/drink anywhere I've gone to).
